How do you know this is AMTs bitcoin address?

If it is then holy shit.

Tracing this wallet around might not be a bad idea. Find out who it belongs to. Blockchain should be able to clear that up.

FYI based on blockchain it does not appear to be theirs.

Out of curiosity What did you see that made you think that isn't their address.

I looks to me that the 1rst deposit to that address was 1/30/14, coincidentally about the time they got the chips. also the hash power appears to ramp up and also there are several large deposits from other groups of addresses, as if miners were paid to a unique address and then transferred to this one. That is what I'm seeing but not that experienced looking at the blockchain.
I would hope that ALL mines being sold are put to work for at least 1hr as aburn-in... All my Ants were ran into a Bitminetech wallet for 2hrs. That bit is stored in perm memory, when ya reset to defaults - same address come up.

Now, on the AMT ones, or any other make for that matter... I like the suggestion earlier on - the customer gives a wallet or pool name to them and AMT does the testing into there. Customer see's right away if there is activity on the accts and knows things are in-progress.

Well I for one am gonna wait to see what Phin's visit does for this. Also I am working on a solution to the forum problem as well. My implementation will give no vendor an excuse NOT to communicate and blame the community for its lack of communication.  I will have more details in coming days. Looking at costs and such which I am funding from my own pocket at this point.
Need web dev help? I have a good Skype & war gaming buddy that is top-notch. Also does data center design - did a few of Go-Daddy's in fact.

Wonder how this impacts us? From BitMine.ch http://bitmine.ch/?p=5329 Thinking of the 520 units, not the TH ones.

And... since AMT is an authorized distributor of theirs, wonder if BMch's Compensation Plan applies to us... Doubt it but ya never know..

Should be Public Record I'd think since it is often needed for business transactions. Bet the IRS has a database page for that...

<big snip>

Some, but not all, the key factors that separate AMT from most the other asic manufacturers. BTW, when did AMT start producing ASIC chips?

I'm going to touch upon Factor #9 only in this post, since Joshua Zipkin felt it important to be included on such a well-thought-out list.

Last year, I started a new company, applying for, and registering with the various agencies. Of all of them, I not once had to register my company with the IRS. I will, though, have to file taxes come the 15th of April with the IRS if I desire to remain compliant.

Ergo, one does not file with the IRS upon starting a new company unless, of course, one resides in Bulgaria and doesn't know such, but penned in such a matter to impress, and hopefully garner more sales with such a lie.
<more snip>

On the ASIC manufacturer, Ill let them slide on that as an over-enthusiastic advert. Should read as "ASIC system builder'. The non A1 chip-based systems they have sold look to be exactly like re-branded versions of what BitMine.ch was selling at the time (pre-Coincraft A1 chip). Those were mostly based on Avalon chips I believe.

Actually, unless you are a self-employed company and file your estimated taxes quarterly, yes, a company does register with the IRS as well as and state and local agencies that have an interest in a piece of our income. Ours has. As to if you *have* to, can't say but it is a good idea.
6271  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 25, 2014, 01:21:21 AM
 Cheesy I for one am done buying anymore miners for a while, 4 Ants (bought at very reasonable price vs what they were a few weeks ago) and maybe eventually the 520 is enough for now.

That is unless maybe the current spat of high-luck blocks keeps up for a while... Compared to a good part of last week, made an amazing bit'o coin over the weekend. Keep that sort of balance up often enough then maybe an Ant s2 is in my future...
6272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 25, 2014, 12:35:40 AM
im order 1450 and still awaiting my 520ghs paper weight
Let me know when they get to you... I'm #1565 also for a 520.

Wish Ant S1's were this cheap at the end of Feb... Wouldna ordered the 520 that's for sure! At current S1 prices that $4089 would have bought almost 5 (4.7xx something) Ants good for a total of 720GHs. Ah well, to have a Time Machine...

<snip>

We've been returning phone calls and emails, but the majority of them are asking about an updates for their order, so we'll be posting updates in the news section and we'll even start sending out emails too.

We treat our clients as investors, and with respect. We don't respect this thread despite the fact that our clients choose to come here and read this bs,. As we've said before the crap that is allowed to take place here is so bad that we don't even come around to look at it.

We updated the previous production/shipping schedule prior to knowing their was an issue with the board, and everyday seemed to be an "it'll be fixed by tomorrow" day according to our brilliant CM.

<snip>

They speaketh!
Er, I've sent 3 emails to AMT with only the first one being answered. All were professional and pure business and yes mainly just wanting an update though knowing BMch's sich with their packaged miners I also offered them them chance to take me off the books with Ants - and at a very healthy profit to AMT I might add. Again, no reply regarding any of it.

AMT et-al , you made this thread the way it is simply because no one here HAS gotten replies from you. Please, reply to my email and I will point it out here.

As for the 'it'll be fixed by tomorrow' syndrome, that I can understand as being in the tech manufacturing business I too have faced that situation. Difference is - my company talks to its customers. They are given updates at every milestone reached and every sinkhole hit.  If AMT just did the same most of this thread would not exist...
6274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 24, 2014, 01:01:24 AM
rik, in my case and probably a couple others, yes we paid for rigs made by BitMine.ch and resold by AMT as their distributor for the USA. My only hope in the matter is that that BMch has said that orders for the older systems will be changed to their new versions. In my case a 4U high rack case @600GHs vs the non-rack and 'prettier' 520GHs unit. At least that is what they have told their direct-order customers. When they actually start shipping that is.

As to if my order got placed with them by AMT.....

Before ya ask, I only ordered through AMT because on the BitMine site they said they were out-of-stock/back order only whereas AMT gave the impression they had some/were getting some so silly me ordered. Seeing other companies offering rigs with the same chip (at higher rices) led me to think that the A1 chips were actually working as salable items (bzzzzt, wrong) Also, at the time Ant S1's were around 2-3x the price they are right now so it seemed a no-brainer.
6275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 24, 2014, 12:52:33 AM
Google ?? they are so big they could just point there cpu's at bitcoin and pump out more than any other farm.. They have serious firepower.

Thats not the point tho. Its to invest in companies to do the work. Their CPU power has to be for their cloud and search business. Thats the priority there for them. All said tho we do need to look at bitmine and see if they can put some pressure on some kind of announcement.
Exactly. Companies like I linked with the WA state news vid. As I said, Motley Fool fool.com the investment site has several times made mention of the big-G having interest/owning 2 large warehouse-sized properties in WA state. Um, in the news feed, that company interviewed has 2 large warehouse sized pharms...

Anywho, yes if they (Google) are in large investors in BMch then it is certainly in their best interest to get thing moving at BitMine.ch and its affiliates.
6276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 23, 2014, 10:53:47 PM
Not that it may help much given BitMin.ch's own problems and massive backlog of very unhappy customers waiting for their miners ordered directly from BMch but... With AMT being an (or The) 'Authorized Distributor for BitMine.ch products in the United States" then BMch ultimately is responsible for actions and non-actions of AMT pertaining to sales of their gear and other products.

That is provided AMT actually placed our orders with BMch for chips/boards or  BMch rigs like my 520 and sent any of our funds to BMch. If not, then again we are looking at pure fraud....
6277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 22, 2014, 02:52:40 AM
no, they are FPGA blades. BitFury methinks. Try to grab the transcript of the interview and they say what they are.
6278  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 22, 2014, 01:24:38 AM
I do rather like the twisted possible backers behind BitMine: For one, Google. I'd think that with Google being attached would make this rather interesting for various news outlets be they industry-specific or general....
Wonder if this is ties to some info that Motely Fool brings up now and then about a couple very large warehouse-size 'possible data centers' that Google owns on the banks of the Columbia river in WA state? So far the big-G has ben mum as to what they are. Thinking about their link to Petahash on that one...

If anything link shown here, now wonder the diff rate is yumping... They are running over 1PH there...  Around 3min i is when it getts to good stuff.  http://www.komonews.com/news/local/Bitcoin-Modern-day-gold-rush-or-risky-investment-249577361.html

"His company, MegaBigPower, has invested over $1 million into two warehouses that feature hundreds of mining rigs running side by side on dozens of racks that stand seven feet high. It consumes 1.4 megawatts of power - enough to run a small town. It currently relies on huge fans circulating outside air to cool the rigs. During a recent visit, it was 30 degrees outside and 102 inside."

jeez...
6279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 22, 2014, 12:55:37 AM
Hmm, wonder if I should point someone at Electronic Component News at the BitMine.ch mess... Should be pretty damn newsworthy I'd think...
6280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 21, 2014, 11:50:50 PM
"Has anyone gotten a refund? Has anyone sued them and gotten their money back?"

Not from what anyone here has said.
In my case the claimed latest ship-date won't be until Apr.4 (check was deposited at Eagle Bank Mar.4, my act debited teh same day) so legally I have no bitch - yet. I did however 3 days ago send them email offering a way out with me - have 4 Ant S1's drop-shipped to me instead. (dirt cheap right now and just ordered 2 more a couple hrs ago). Yeah they make like $1.5k off me vs what  can by them for but, clears me off their books and I get more hash than what I paid for at the time.

No reply from AMT of course.
