6261  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Ad Networks Opinion discussion on: September 24, 2016, 06:20:58 PM
These are hard times for faucets,Adsense is no longer an option and every other advertising network is paying much lower. My opinion is that if you want to survive you can't rely only on ads you must be more creative and look for other sources of revenue.Adding some gambling games on your faucet is a good idea, people don't mind risking the satoshi they claimed for free and it seems to work on other sites like Freebitco.in,Faucetgame,Bitgames.io,etc.

Ads that look like download links on file sharing sites is one thing, but these are outright copies of the image for the “Get Coins” button.
6262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: September 24, 2016, 06:18:44 PM
As long as ETH and Vitalik are going along with the superuser editable, hard fork, censor prone blockchain I don't have anything positive to say about that bunch... So I am just keeping my mouth shut.  If you want to see the promise of Ethereum kept then ETC is where that will happen.  The other chain leads to more centralization and corruption.  So keeping track of both chains is wise, but I won't put my eggs in the ETH basket.   Just my 2 sats.

That is the very function of the difficulty, to keep the solved blocks within X time range.
6263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet in bank? on: September 24, 2016, 06:17:08 PM
Do you think that one day you could open Bitcoin wallet in your bank, along with your.ordinary bank account? And will banks have their own wallets? Or maybe they already have? There are some rumors that some banks are preparing themselfes to addopt the Bitcoin and give it to their clients as a new service?

I think it unlikely that banks accept deposit bitcoin someday.
6264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Bitcoin wallets are best to use? on: September 24, 2016, 06:14:41 PM
I chose Electrum and it needs a password each time in the version that I picked, but that is nothing compared to some of the others that require that 12 words passphrase or even the pvt key.

~~
For me blockchain is one of the best wallet online for me and next is coinbase where you can use credit card or bank statement to buy bitcoin via there website and you can now load at blockchain the best right.

coinbase is a good place to purchase bitcoin not to hold bitcoin in other words it is terrible as a bitcoin wallet because it is making things centralized and you have zero control over your private keys and as a result your money.

It is true, if you want to hold your bitcoin for long term then you can go with hardware or software wallet like, desktop wallet, electrum, where you have full control over your wallet with private keys, online wallet is good for doing trading but not for holding bitcoins for long term, but i am using coinbase and i used it for trading purpose only.

Keep in mind that there is a fee every time that you move your BTC from one wallet address to another.

6269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AML/KYC Explained on: September 24, 2016, 01:38:02 PM
When you fill out one of these forms for KYC how long does it take till the government has a copy?
Just trying to figure out if they file the information or actually send it forward. Hoping its one of those issues where people just make sure they file the information in case of audit but something tells me they send any transaction over 10K forward for further scrutiny.

Very nicely put together and explained.  This is the only problem as I see it.
6270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: September 24, 2016, 01:27:57 PM
Surely, I can't see why not. Bitcoin can be used for making good things, just like when you try to do good things using the fiat money.

I don’t understand why not the reason be able to use Bitcoin to good things.
6271  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoins more than double of the price? :O on: September 24, 2016, 01:26:53 PM
Links in the ad pointed to BTC itself, but the coins were not even listed on most exchanges.
6272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Net Market Vendors Reveal Their Day-to-Day Lives on Reddit on: September 24, 2016, 01:25:50 PM
The subject of Dark Net Markets (DNM) is considered taboo, and people often wonder how these markets operate from the inside. So, on September 16, a person decided to ask on the subreddit r/darknetmarkets what a day in the life of a DNM vendor was like. A few vendors decided to share their personal anecdotes on life as a dark net drug dealer.

6275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 22, 2016, 06:37:50 PM
Quote post 367
You could invest into trading where your return isn't based only on your actual luck, but it's based on your experience and goodness of your research too. Although more risky, you could invest into altcoin as well that may help your trading investment too.

Buy and hold. Smiley
6276  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: September 22, 2016, 06:36:22 PM
The app can lead her to a dinner with you and all kinds of things that apps can do.  Later, after the excitement has calmed she is likely to ask you questions and that is when you tell her that it is based on Bitcoin.

The event, countdown and the transaction are intermingled.  Wink
