There are a lot of ICOs happening around. What things do you check before investing priority-wise?

Since my friends have an idea that I am associated with bitcoin and I transact in it, they send me the stuff from the media if they come across. In most of the media pieces, bitcoin is mentioned as 'bitcoin is an unrecognised currency' and at that point, the people misunderstand that if it's not recognised (legal) yet then it's definitely illegal. I am bit confused, how to deal with such situation?

I hope the price reached $2500 in bitcoin later this year, because currently only bitcoin price reaches $1900 bitcoin price day by day more and go up quickly and clearly, this is very beneficial for those of us who hold bitcoin

Totally agree with you. People which are new in the 'BTCworld' think that they can get it without doing something for it.
Unfortunately, it isn't. But the thing is that almost all the newcomers will still invest their money in it until they realize themselves that they made a big mistake. And that it is actually harder than it sounds.
Doing research on the internet as you already said by yourself will help them to avoid these sites.
I think that we've all been through that time but some people will not learn it at all haha.

Poloniex and Bittrex.  I've heard kraken charges $50K to list a coin, which only hurts them in the long run.. coins like XEM not being listed is just lost revenue for them. I have no incentive to pool together $50K to get it listed, as nobody really 'needs' Kraken. It's their loss. Similarly, BTC-E is stuck in the stone ages, not updating their trading list to more reflect current demand. Who buys namecoin anyways? They were that way 3 years ago though.

GDAX is good for depositing USD into the system and getting your experience started. It's what I use.  It's coinbase without the 1.5% fees.   Keep in mind bitcoin has fairly high fees right now so expect to pay a buck or two when transferring bitcoin from exchange to exchange.

Bittrex is smaller and responds faster to customer requests, but poloniex will respond eventually. They just upped my withdraw limit to $25,000 after some time waiting, but I have been doing some trading with them.   I have had equal success with both, but bittrex servers are able to stay up more consistently, though poloniex has more liquidity.

One quick tip.. when using GDAX/coinbase, their 2 factor authentication sometimes lags... you should submit your code right at the end of the countdown.. sometimes you even have to submit it 5 seconds after the countdown ends and a new number shows up.

It is better for us to hold our coins. I guess this is not the right time for us to exchange it, we ought to wait until its price become high. Patience has a good cause just like maybe its price reach the 2$ or more.

I think if we really want to make money from money, the best option is to have a business whether its online or offline. This would be the perfect strategy. I'm putting myself as an example. I have a offline business and the earning from signature campaign was being used to make more money in my offline business. I found this very effective because I'm having a continuous cash flow within my business that helps me a lot in terms of being financial stable as of now.

Some time people said without thinking, just like that if you are waiting when bitcoin cross $10000, than you would be sell your bitcoins. Its mean wait for more than 3 to 4 years, at least within 5 years definitely bitcoin would be reached at $10000. I think we should sell during the price growth time by time, But i respect your opinion to become rich with the bitcoin than should wait. Best of luck.     

this confirmation/transaction holdup is starting to get on my nerves. i tried to purchase more hashrate, but after a couple of days, the transaction still has not been confirmed. just to clarify, once the tx goes through, will i still receive the amount of hashrate I purchased at the time of the transaction?

Direct to the point,no one would really give him some loan because his just a newbie/noob. He didn't even bother to put up a little announcement or introductory with his ideal project that might somehow caught up someones attention and might help you to fund but well I do really treat this again as a garbage request. I read a lot about in cloud mining sites, and most of what I had read was negative feedback from the community here in the forums. And there are  few individuals supporting cloud mining site that there is still legit and that is genesis mining, that was according to them. But I'm not sure if that is true. But honestly, I don't want to try to invest in it, due to I don't want too risk my capital which I am not sure to get back my roi, it is much better me to do trade in the exchange were I can maximize my risk.

With all the problems this Ransomware has caused, it has given Bitcoin a lot of exposure. Yes its in a bad light but we all know there is no such thing as bad exposure. the last 5 days I have heard the word Bitcoin on radio and TV more than ever before. A lot of people who don't know about it are now asking questions and doing research. Its growing in popularity especially in developing countries where its not so well known.
