6281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, Not paying!!! on: August 07, 2015, 11:33:44 PM
You're right, but I'm not joking. If you were in his situation

If I were him then Im pretty much sure that these guys wont report me to the legal feds because they still "believe" what I am saying . This is indeed a sad truth but some people still indeed believe that he will deliver the "magical hardware" .
Some people may have already started to compile things to pursue this guy legally but they wont really do anything yet for now because some could still be waiting for this promises to be delivered.

Moreover the thing about cloudmining doesnt really affect many people although some may suffer huge unlike moolah and MT. GOX and also that if someone is actually going to take legal actions against all this cloudmining then I assume PBmining would be the first to be sued. As a matter of facts however it seems some people are still reluctant to go outside their anonimous zone to report things legally

6282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 07, 2015, 07:36:22 PM
You got this totally wrong, first of all "luck" is definitely not a strategy. Everything in your life about "luck" and "risk" to begin with but that doesnt mean you can cross the street with your eyes close and hope you get lucky and no truck would hit you. This is totally an absurb thought
The same thing that when you are playing dice and try to win 10 BTC with 10 BTC bankroll as well . You cant expect to be "lucky" , close your eyes and hope for the best but instead with some "strategy" you could atleast try to win some or atleast limiting your loss instead of busting your whole 10BTC

He probably meant whichever strategy you use the edge is the same 1%. So, getting lucky is certainly a preferable variable than any strategy. Wink
Winning 1 BTC from 1 BTC has 49.5% odds. That is true whichever strategy you pick. Smiley

All it can do is reduce the probability, but when someone makes like a 100,000 bets getting bust becomes very probable.

Variable isnt strategy and this thread is merely discussing "strategy" though everything you use will eventually give you either profit or bust . I just find it funny that someone keep on using the words "lucky" as strategy because it is not , plus that everything is about "luck" and "risk" in our life but that does not mean that he can just "hope" for the best because he could be lucky today

Some people prefer making tons of bet to get reduce the "probability" to bust which mathematically means higher chance to win but the difference is pretty much low on the other hand some people prefer to go higher / all in because the thrill of winning is higher rather than getting few satoshis with each of your bet  Cheesy
6283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: very weird poll on: August 07, 2015, 05:49:25 PM
-snip-

This is a very weird poll, there are tons of dice sites around here and you cant just compare two sites and also what weirder would be that you are putting bustabit in the poll , although the site is nice but thats not a dice sites. Apart from that the word " best " is pretty much ambigious because there are alot of criteria of each dice sites that distinguish them in term of the word "best" i.e PrimeDice is definitely not the best in term of roll speed and as well as "speed" of their support service

A poll like this is pretty much not needed because this kinda thread has exist alot

The signature campaign closed after this giveaway, so I wonder what is happening behind the scene. It would be a shame if the site is struggling as it is quite good.

The same thing that happened mostly to any site around here. Basically most sites are struggling because of the harsh compeititon . To be honest the market for BTC gambler is pretty low in number and not to mention that some sites are "monopolizing" the market because they started in the early of 2012/2013.
People just cant seem to go away from their favourites site despite that a new sites offer more features or even has much more interesting giveaway and stuff on the site. Apart from that , their signature campaign isnt generating the number of player that they have expected therefore the house is currently going with heavy expenses with no significant result yet
6285  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: August 07, 2015, 04:20:44 PM
I think it makes sense to say that if a user's deposits are greater than a user's faucet draws then go show that user a little more respect and let them bet faster even if it's a small amount.

This is not the case for it, it is more about trimming the database. PrimeDice is getting over 10M bets each day (references below) , however there isnt any data for the dust sized bet percentage which I assume is around 80 % of their daily bet and that is around 8 M of bets cluttering up their database and that cost some for their database maintenance
The idea to throttle this dust sizes bet would be to cut down the number of the dust sized bet generated daily but then again with all this throttle, the number are still high enough ( wonder if it isnt throttle ). As per stated , finding balance to satisfy this database stuff and players isnt easy

also i can add up that the faucet is a kind of a reward for the whales out there who bet huge amounts of money and then can use a max paying faucet and maybe get back some of the looses they had

This is kinda funny thing to read because If I am a whale that spend over 10 BTC to gamble in PrimeDice and dont literally care wether if I lose it all then I wouldnt even care for the faucet even if it gives 20,000 satoshis per claim .
The faucet is merely there to satisfy the "faucet licker" which once abused the faucet or to satisfy someone that dont want to risk a cent to play at the site. Most people tend to think that house "always" win which is theoretically true and that is the reason that some people wont even want to risk anything but just use the faucet to get a small amount for the shear of fun

P.S : Im not a faucet licker Tongue
6287  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✔✔✔ block777.com | HUGE WEEKLY PRIZEPOOL | on: August 07, 2015, 02:51:44 PM
Who bet on all miners they lost 30% of bet or they had returned 70% of bed back. So, no profitable bet on all when win popular miner, but when win non popular you have huge profit.

This is not the case for it because if you look closely at the previous bet, someone grab most of the prizes because he bet alot in the antpool thus this generate lower profit for the other bettor.
For you to get profit by betting on all miners, there are one other conditions that you should take alook at. First it would be the prizepool, a higher prizepool generate more payout which is why the anniversarry block grant a profit when you bet on all miners despite that there are other heavy bettor that grab most of the prize.
6288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: August 07, 2015, 10:43:01 AM
I vote to remove faucet then..

There is no ongoing voting here

why the fuck is it even there?

For tryout puposes so that someone could risk nothing to try out the game but then there is always a play money option to replace faucet but the thrill of winning isnt as huge as playng with real satoshis even if it is just few hundreds. Plus some success story of risking few hundreds satoshi from faucet and play with huge multiplier always drive people nuts if you check on the chatbox.

It gives just a few hundreds satoshi, that's not even 1 cent.

For some people it is better than risking their own BTC

Why do people gamble if they don't have any money?

Why would people not be gambling a few cents ? There isnt any restriction in gambling about someone should not be gambling if he only have a few cents also that some people dont gamble to win but for the shear of fun, for the thrill of winning and ofcourse addiction to gamble.

What settings do you need to open up that possible multiplier?

There are tons of setting for the plinko options but if you want to get the exact multiplier then this is it :

odds  : 0
pins   : 31
slope : 1

However all you need is to only beat Bjorn's multiplier therefore you can try the other setting with either 24 ,25 or 28 pins with the same odds and slope configuration . Not sure about the probability but using 24, 25 or 28 pins will give you more profit if you actually hit a higher multiplier than bjorn's

i cant imagine it,,10 btc wasted for it..but its cool event, so it will attract more player to play plinko..

10BTC is too much , best thing about plinko is that you dont lose it all even if you lost Smiley

Someone got his head out of his ass and devised a new deadline. Hands up for who thinks he's going to stick to it.

On saturday I doubt that he will give an expected answer, could be just another delay or another silence from him. This kinda abit odd as he was always doing some updates on friday ( most of the time )

I m so glad I managed to sell my account so I don't have to follow his updates anymore.

You will probably want to get an updates from him for entertainment purposes. I have sold mine as well but I just cant keep my self to stick out of this mess because all this excuses is pretty much fun to read on and ever since he started to introduce this "magical hardware" then almost all of his nonsense excuses gets even more pathetic. Plus on the same time you can feel the sorrow of those that are still waiting for his promises of "magical hardware"  Cheesy
6291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 06, 2015, 08:34:27 PM
Only strategy for gambling is lucky

You got this totally wrong, first of all "luck" is definitely not a strategy. Everything in your life about "luck" and "risk" to begin with but that doesnt mean you can cross the street with your eyes close and hope you get lucky and no truck would hit you. This is totally an absurb thought

You cant expect to be "lucky" , close your eyes and hope for the best but instead with some "strategy" you could atleast try to win some or atleast limiting your loss instead of busting your whole 10BTC

There is no strategy at dice sites by playing where the house edge exist. some people get lucky, its true.
but you should lose in the long run.

A strategy doesnt mean that something to help you win tons of BTC but it could be something to prevent you from busting in a split of seconds as you might want to limit some of your lost

got 14 green in a row so that is really good sign

Good sign of what? of the site is not rigged? I find this statement pretty funny that someone marked a site as "good" or "bad" just because he is getting a winning / losing streak.
This is a very bogus thought and you got two thing to nore here, first would be that every owner of the apps in Moneypot has no ability to rig your bet and even if you suffer 20+ lost streak at 2x multiplier then it has nothing to do with the owner rigging your roll. Second would be that each of your bet is dependant and random and having to play at 90 % chance doesnt mean that you are winning 9/10 bet

On a side note, goodluck dogedigital and Monbux with the launch Smiley
6293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quantum Dice - Now Featured on MoneyPot | variable HOUSE EDGE as LOW as 0.01% on: August 06, 2015, 06:17:36 PM
The amount spent subsidizing the bets could be better used for signature campaigns

Unless you have a huge amount to spend for signature campaigns, it wont work because it needs constant exposure and that means you need alot of BTC to spend to keep it running for months .
There has been alot of sites that actually goes out of business after setting up a signature campaign and instead of getting the amount of new players that they hope for , signature campaign only increases their expenses ( though I would love to put in references but it will be unethical to put it here as it will be like mocking them )
6294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 06, 2015, 04:35:59 PM
The house always wins due to the house advantage.

Theoretically this is correct but this doesnt mean that everyone will lose in the end. The proof of this would be there are alot of winner that won over 100+ BTC in PrimeDice which means that not everyone is losing .
If actually everyone is losing then there will be no one that gamble anymore because success story is what keep people to gamble apart from addiction of course. Everytime that there are someone that post their success story, another could be thinking that they are going to win too  Wink

No strategy is foolproof. Though getting bust is seen as an unlikely event, making thousands of rolls making it very probable.

Correct and that means the best strategy would be quit while you are ahead. Some players also believe in superstition like bet for X period of time and then come back later or tomorrow to bet ( not sure if this actually affect your luck though . superstition anyway )

strategies not work, all about luck for dice  Cool

To begin with, everything is to do with luck but that doesnt mean you could just throw away 1 btc at 2x multiplier and hope for the best though
6295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quantum Dice - Now Featured on MoneyPot | variable HOUSE EDGE as LOW as 0.01% on: August 06, 2015, 01:44:16 PM
That would be really awesome! I'm sad that I won't be here for the next weeks, but this promotion with 0% house edge will bring you a lot of users Smiley

This 0 % house edge wont really sell unless the site has some user based already which is not for the case right now. Apart from that, the 0 % house edge means no commission for both Moneypot and developers thus this means not a good news for the investor as well. Not really saying that the player could be winning with the 0 % edge anyway

Another site is currently having 0 % house edge at the moment and it seems to be having a huge jump of the number of people rolling on the site but that doesnt mean all these players will stay once it is over

nice idea but how would that look like in real? ty

As per the usual dice game but without any house edge that means you will be able to select 00.00-49.99 as the low option and 50.00-99.99 as the high option at 2x multiplier that means exactly 50 % chance to win
6296  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io Bitcoin Casino ★VIP★15% Affiliate Bonus PLINKO|DICE|HORSE RACING on: August 06, 2015, 12:03:33 PM
The site appears to have been offline for the last 44m. I get time outs most of the time connecting, and when I can (rarely) it shows the last rolls from anyone being 44m ago.

The last roll was 32 minutes ago ( the time that I wrote this ) . The other apps in MoneyPot is working fine without any issue and it seems to be a slight issue on BetterBets end. For those wondering and PMed me regarding funds issue, you can be relax and dont be paranoid about that because everything is fine and your funds is secured. I have withdrawed and deposited back mine without any issue  Smiley
It could be something with the hosting providers because I got a connection timed out when trying to reconnect. Apart from that , nothing is wrong though I have contacted lobos regarding this and it should be back up in few minutes

EDIT : it is up again
6297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game |NEW Promo Board by ndnhc|1% house edge on: August 06, 2015, 11:58:38 AM
I'm just wondering how can someone hack on-chain gambling site? Isn't it much more safersecure than just normal off-chain?

Security in an on-chain games is pretty much no different than an off-chain game. depending on each site, some off-chain game could be actually much more secure than an on-chain. The significant different would be that an on-chain game hold no player's fund therefore if something happened then only the owner is in risk however in an off-chain game the risks are double on both the owner and players because the site keeps the players fund

This is really weird, the only method I know to "hack" on-chain site is double spend.

There isnt anything much to speculate on because given the less information regarding this incident however once the site is up on Monday the owner could give a full details explanation about this incident ( or he will not )
6298  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] user quetzalcoatll scammed me on: August 06, 2015, 11:01:51 AM
what do you want to say now? if he is totolino then I am the lier and cheater?

You are being delusional, I am merely asking which one is totolino and that is all. I have no seat on this fight and Im not planning to. Cant we just back to a very civilized society where everyone has no ill thoughts? this is becoming more and more like the wild west. This is actually funny to see someone accuse me of something weird when Im just asking for a legit question

and I really don't care if he will post any game idea because all games are already invented

If there is no harm to the ongoing project then you could post the skype conversation so everyone can judge who is "guilty" on this . At this moment there will be no conclusion if both party remain silent without any proof but only pointing fingers to each another.
This thread is in scam accusations section which means that you need to actually provide proof to show that the other party is guilty. Simply provide your proof to show that he is the liar and ask for a refund or else contact his company to solve this thing

but thanks for your opinion

No problem , your are welcome
6299  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] user quetzalcoatll scammed me on: August 06, 2015, 10:25:23 AM
This is design that he sent to me: http://www.dodaj.rs/f/1A/Bf/28lb4Spz/elm1.png

That is funny because the image shows some header from Jackpotracer but with different game (references below ) and Is that the same totolino in MoneyPot ?

References : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1110445.0 ; https://www.moneypot.com/users/totolino

I received this PM now from this thief
http://screencast.com/t/BRQv0QVh

The screencap clearly shows that he accused you of lying and he said that he got a proof that he had asked you to find another developer (references below ) . While on the other hand you insisted that he is the one lying about this thing and have the proof of him lying, that lead to two different story and there is no way to judge this if neither one of you provide a proof for your claim.

However providing the skype conversation as well as the other proof will means that you are leaking an idea about your ongoing project that could resulted in someone stealing it. Instead of providing this then I would suggest to make a contact through the company to solve this in a good manner rather than pointing guns to each another's head and  risking the project

I already send him project source code (before 7-10 days) because I don't have time to finish project and he will find other developer to finish this task, he can confirm that or I will publish here bitbucket link, it's a private repository, but I can change that.

On a side note, which one of you is totolino? I knew totolino from MoneyPot though he is a fine man

I wish the most prominent bitcoin gambling website owner was more out there with people talking chatting

Given the fact that there is an abundant of unsolved support request , it would actually tell people that Stunna has no time for it. If he would have alot of extra time to do so then probably there wont be any complaint regarding the support service. Plus that once Stunna shows up in chat, there will be alot of fuss "begging" him for some free coins thus only generate extra workload for the mods
On a side note that since MICRO has stated that PrimeDice is working on a casino, that could be another reason why Stunna hasnt been around for some time which could probably be catching up some schedule

just like doog did when he used bitcoins rather then the new thing

AFAIK dooglus is still doing so but it is just less frequent when JD was on its prime
