I have heard that people here all hate Ripple for some reason.
Will I get flamed if I say that I think Ripple is actually pretty good?
Case in point is that I was able to buy some NXT on dgex.com and then issued NXT within Ripple and created a buy and sell order for NXT/XRP very quickly.
Ripple is a decentralized ledger, so no centralized entity controls all the trades. It is true that I am a newbie here, but I have been very active within the Ripple community and I would be happy to answer any questions. I hope people will have an open mind about all this and you only need 20 XRP to activate your ripple account. It is true that you need to trust me to redeem your NXT, so if this is an issue, I would be happy to make a market for an issuer that everybody trusts. Maybe one of the founders?
