Maybe next time they will learn from this?

Hardly, for many of them it's like herd instinct - it's enough to see someone sell and price going down and they start to panic and sell like crazy.

People have no patience. Not many people get rich very quickly from one investment. Buy & HODL for a few years, why does everybody want it NOW.

Just carry on with your day job & HODL, you might get a nice surprise in a few years.
6282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Copy-Paste Virus For Bitcoin Users -- Beware!!! on: March 26, 2017, 07:17:41 PM
What kind of websites would you even get affected by a virus like this from? I don't think I download anything or go anywhere online where I could be a victim of stuff like this.

I don't even click on links here.
6283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like 2000 next month on: March 26, 2017, 07:15:16 PM
I believe weak hand are soon gone and we well see a new era of prosperity and bull run next month. Together we can do this, we can all make profit if we make the price higher first I want to believe

I guess the time of dumping is already done and bitcoin needs some more space for the price pump and it is going to be possible to reach up to $2,000.

I'm thinking only about getting it back to $1,300 or even $1,500 but with this amount we will see if what will be the impact of the drama's.

And I keep on thinking that it will not always be dump, after that you know what's next.  Cool

Even $1,500 would be fantastic. The sooner BU dies the better so we can shake off this take over attempt & begin to move in the right direction.
6284  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 26, 2017, 07:05:54 PM
As of today SegWit is losing to Bitcoin Unlimited. We can actually get done with this block size debate. Please spread the word and install Bitcoin Unlimited full node instead of Core. This debate has been holding back the price for too long now. It's time for change. Let's make Bitcoin great again.

----snip----

Forget about BU, Bitcoin Classic is going to fork! Cheesy

I'm with Bitcoin Classic, they have really nice conservative philosophy about the development of Bitcoin. No bullshit SegWit soft fork hacks.

Given up on your beloved BU after a few weeks?

Grin

Did Classic offer you more money to shill & FUD than BU were willing to? Like the draft so you were transferred?
6285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 26, 2017, 07:02:25 PM
I don't think they really care about bitcoin's future as in bitcoin in isolation. Delaying SegWit & LN means they're currently getting much bigger fees than before i.e. better profits which is what they're bothered about.
6286  Economy / Speculation / Re: People selling alts to go back in BTC on: March 26, 2017, 06:46:38 PM
Looks like the bottom was 8XX, now that the hard fork fears are going down and bitcoin unlimited is pretty much dead beyond any reasonable expectative, I can see more and more people jumping back in the Bitcoin train. Looks like ETH already peaked and BTC bottomed.
Did I miss something !? no HF ? BU dead !!?
hope it is

BU isn't dead yet unfortunately but the last time I looked Core had over taken them. BU has lost some support I believe.
6287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we going to see a repeat of this? on: March 26, 2017, 06:42:41 PM
There will be plenty of bull shit excuses if/when BU dies. No doubt that the next coup/take over attempt will begin shortly after BU is laid to rest though.
6288  Economy / Speculation / Re: $15 wall? on: March 26, 2017, 06:40:46 PM
Epic thread. I hope we look back on $1,000 coins in the same way as we do towards $15 now one day Grin
6289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: March 26, 2017, 06:39:20 PM
Seems we haven't quite yet left the triple digits behind for good.

and it seems it might still take a while longer before we will.

Nothing to panic about, the dump wasn't too bad in the end. We'll be back up close to where we were soon enough.
Keep buying whilst coins are still affordable.
6290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why you should buy bitcoins NOW on: March 26, 2017, 06:37:49 PM
Anything sub $1,000 is an absolute bargain & if you can afford to, should absolutely be investing a couple of grand into bitcoin right now.

It's almost certain that good profits will be made buying at $1,000.
6291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin unlimited died on: March 26, 2017, 06:35:52 PM
if BU died these will happen surely:
- The next campaign against Bitcoin will be immediately started!

It's started already: BitcoinEC (as in emergent consensus Roll Eyes )

BUT

I think that maybe "this time it's different"

This is turning into "the boy who cried wolf", I think that even the few people who were swayed by BU or Classic etc won't buy this next coup attempt. So, I think everyone should start preparing for a whole different attack using a totally different angle. Who knows what that could be, but my suggestion would be to behave very carefully in general. Keep your eyes open, etc

I wish they'd all just fuck off to be honest. These guys are stopping us all from making great profits.
6292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 26, 2017, 06:31:01 PM
We're up nearly $30 from today's opening price. Have we seen the bottom gentlemen?
6293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: March 26, 2017, 06:29:02 PM
I do go to real life casinos yes. I've been to Vegas twice too. Bitcoin gambling is fun but you don't get the buzz of a real life casino when playing online.
6294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: odds for WrestleMania 33 April 2nd 2017 on: March 26, 2017, 06:27:31 PM
No point betting on wrestling, it's planned. The results are pre determined so why would you bother risking money on it.

Leave me out Grin
6295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: March 26, 2017, 06:25:49 PM
Scotland vs Slovenia - This match I predict both teams to score.

Montenegro vs Poland - Both teams to score here too.

Malta vs Slovakia - Away win.
6296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 21, 2017, 05:39:10 PM
Weak hands shaken out & now we start to rise bitches.

6297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to buy on: March 01, 2017, 01:02:44 PM
I'm not buying any more at this stage unless we go below $1000 again. I'm moderately happy with what I have in cold storage. Would have to go below $1000 for me to dust my fiat wallet off again though Smiley
6298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey - How much you are willing to pay - Bitcoin Guide on: March 01, 2017, 01:00:48 PM
I probably wouldn't buy a Bitcoin Guide at this stage now but if I was a noob starting out then mpst likely I'd pay ip to 10 USD.
6299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 01, 2017, 12:57:24 PM
I'm not betting on La Liga tonight but I expect Barcelona & Real both to win convincingly. They both have games against teams that they should be looking to destroy with their superior quality.
6300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 01, 2017, 12:54:32 PM
Likewise, if any event makes the price drop we should all see it as an opportunity to hoover up cheap coins. How do you think some people got so rich as a result 9/11.

Donald Trump expolited the disaster to make personal, financial gains.

RIP to those who lost their lives obviously.
