Well.. what if the weapon would have been paid in Euro ?

I guess a lot of people just dont like the fact that BTC is not backed up by anything.
For people who are not in touch with coins yet.. it may seem like something not understandable how the whole system works.
Mining, private addresses, public addresses, transaction fees, confirmations, blockchain..
Guess they dont want to trust anything they dont fully understand yet.

I rly dont think its complicated to use Bitcoin at all.
Nowadays most ppls (below 40) should be able to use a Computer in a way which easily allowes the use Bitcoins
as payment method.
I'd rather have a bit more complicated way to pay things which is safe and decentralized, than having to use a Bank which does what it wants with your money.
If they lose it. They dont care.. u wont get anything from your money.

I would take a Btc Wallet over Bank.
I'd rather be the one who has the overview of my money. Not let the bank do it.. and have to trust them.

Like some user already mentionoed, i would keep the coins safe in different hardware wallets (or even just printed enycrypted private keys) spread among
my enviroment (With backups ofcourse).
 Just to minimize the Risk of a big amount getting lost.

Personally I dont think BTC will reach 500 this year. Maybe beginning 2016.

U shouldn't get into any trouble using localbitcoin as long you dont overdo it (like several 10k's of Euros).
Bitcoins are no way illegal in germany.. there are even some BTC ATM's spread in germany.
Even tho they have an "Outputmax" per day until its registered as an official exchange service.

In my opinion faucets are pretty good to get ppl used to bitcoins and let them experiment with them
The first bits i earned was from faucets  

Its just a small amount they give away.. they earn, if properly designed, more than they give away for free.
If it stops getting lucrative.. they will disappear
But tbh i dont think this will happen.

First, all of my friends were kinda suspicious when i told them about a currency without any backing and just made with complex algorithms.
But after showing them how Bitcoin system works and showin them that u can buy real world stuff with it.. they kinda got interested.. even tho they didnt
get a wallet yet.. im sure they will anyday

I dont't know if it rly would be better if paypal would integrate bitcoins.
Their fee's would be still incredibly high and it still would be kinda cancer from the view of a seller/provider of digital goods/services.
The fact that Paypal supports scammer so much made me completly shut down any use of paypal at all, as long not absolutely necessary.
