Seriously, someone needs to upload Seinfeld now. Can you? Not until ipfs is implemented. IPFS implementation itself is finished but has not been enabled for TV shows yet as they function somewhat different with our current setup. When submitting a ipfs hash instead of a magnet link, the proper format is ipfs:{hash}. We will be offering full tutorials on how to set up your own ipfs node for those who are interested in seeding content in the coming days. Right now our priority is getting support for TV shows added and continuing to test the stability and scalability of the new setup. Following the completion of the new web template currently in progress we will be re-designing site functionality to better match the dual webtorrent/ipfs functionality we now offer and to make sure we have plenty of tutorials in place for those who want to submit items. Thankfully we've already had a number of our submitters start testing the ipfs system and it's working really well so far. Load times for files are generally 5 seconds right now which is a HUGE boost compared to the average speed of webtorrents. Before anyone panics, we still support web torrent content and will continue to do so but until the technology is adopted by more well established torrent clients (uTorrent being the biggest example), its speed is simply not where it needs to be to roll out the 1.0 version of our site. IPFS offers all the same benefits while also being in our opinion the better technology. Ok, please also make a tutorial on how to run IPFS through TOR or a VPN, since it's not private by default.

All people who selling under 5000 are very very stupid. first sale u can do @ 5000 but hold better longer... Such Super Dev und such good Idea is minimum 10k
Actually when you are buying and selling the waves of the market, you gain more free coins and pump up the volume, and i think it's inappropriate to call these people stupid, they are making markets for you. And that's how markets work, with buying and selling, the more people that will get their shares, the more people will market this.

But...but... i want to accumulate :/

Too bad, they ruined good potential coin with premine..well move to next one
Your post history for different coins is hilariously depressed: Poor nmc, it had huge potential, development and inovations are worth nothing if there are no investors and community. No volume on btc-e, wouldnt be suprised if we get delisted soon.
Too bad this coin is dead. It had good potential.
Told ya pump is over
r maybe this was the last exit pump, I would say its smarter to sell when everyone is so bullish
Short doing great so far...see you at 3k
Told ya to short when it was good time to do it..we are going back to 3k
All indicators show vtc/btc ratio is gonna hit new all time low..I already shorted this..too bad, I thought this coin has potential
TA doesnt work on shitcoins...all I can see is lower and lower price
This coin is dead from trading perspective. Everybody expect pump from nowhere, but how? No news, devs don't do anything..its fail.

Where the uploaded Content is stored? On the Users Desktop Harddrive?
I'm going to assume you're talking about IPFS since I'm sure most people understand how torrents work. Anyways, this is a bit difficult to explain without going into super technical detail so I'll try to make this as simple as possible. When you request a file i.e. refer to my 3 example links in the post above which references 3 different gateway servers but the exact same file (hash) first the gateway node tries to resolve the file, so it looks for other nodes who have shredded blocks of the file. The gateway node then reassembles the file and serves it to the person trying to reach it and the content is temporarily stored. Suppose you're running an IPFS node yourself, and content you add to the network yourself is by default pinned to your node which means you will keep seeding it so long as you're running your IPFS node and don't unpin it. Content that isn't yours will be kept for a temporary time frame. If after said given time frame there are no requests for the file and from that gateway it will purge the blocks to free disk space. If the file is re-requested after purging, the gateway node will then again try to retrieve the blocks from some other node. Essentially as it works with torrents, as long as one node is continuing to seed the content or in the case of IPFS the content is being regularly requested it is then available to the rest of the network. Top 10 96,662,429 VIDZ 77.32 %. 1 Rank Vun9SYYkD9GDuTEJA6Q2UyCCY6fjSYcDJD 35,115,680.4 VIDZ 28.09 %Very poor distribution of coins. I was thinking to buy a little, but I see that the coins are concentrated in the same hands. I've mentioned before, the top 2 are the ICO address where people still have coins on that haven't been withdrawn and the development fund. The 35kk is sale bought VIDZ yet to be withdrawn and the 23kk is the dev fund. Ok thanks so i understood. So all Files will be save on the NODE´s... But who will running a Node? Get the NODE a reward or why someone should run one? Yeah, why would you want to run a node and share content to drive more users to that site? Just to make make your share grow value? Why would anyone want to do that /sarcasm

LOL 120 Sat... Dream on man... Better buy now before it Hit next week 500... Volume is daily raising and it seems if someone is accumulating a lot of coins.
There is possibility that someone is manipulating the price, the price just doesn't make any sense, the ICO price was 1000sat and some peole are selling at 30sat per token. I have seen so many price manipulation in crypto and wont be surprise if the price hit 1000sat next week ICO price was 85 satoshis...... Also, in where it was selling 30sat per token?

Dear God, if you have a signature campaign please put the ico price in it so we can stop hearing the constant questioning. I don't even care about the price right now. It's too early to care unless you're buying, and if you are buying, buy now. It's that simple.
Let's try to make this space about the development of the purevidz website.
Lol

This is from the file you linked yourself above: static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = std::numeric_limits<int64_t>::max();
That does mean there is no max supply for VIDZ, so number of coins will be growing indefinitely, until blockchain exists and is moving. But with inflation of 1440 coins per day that is not important. The grow rate is extremely slow. In 10 years there will be about 130M VIDZ, in 100 years - 175M. Are you interested in bigger timeframes, for example thousand or a million years? Except burned buy back coins, they will cut back the inflation

The coin and the community is growing fast i see.
We have more and more good movies on purvidz.net And on poloniex we have now over 20 BTC buy walls until 60 sat., we need bittrex now.
What? You mean yobit? not Poloniex? And bittrex is slowly dying, i can't see any point for paying them for listing anymore. Interesting... What makes you think so? I see no replacement for Bittrex yet. Even Cryptsy was not properly replaced (Yobit is the closest descendant of Cryptsy in some sense, but then again it is too scam-looking for that). Polo cannot replace Bittrex, as they have not enough coins listed. So are we going to be left with no more or less good exchanges? Well for starters, volume is shit.

Why does it need to be scalable when it will never get that big to need it will it? How much will vidz be worth if it scales and people like uploading movies there? is the price cheap now?
This can be huge, i had my doubts with the torrent streaming but now... Worth of Vidz is speculative, it depends on what marketcap and buyback are you counting it with, and price is relative concept that depends on the markets.

I got actually excited about interplanetary file system, i don't think that people yet know how much this brings to table.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InterPlanetary_File_SystemIPFS is a peer-to-peer distributed file system that seeks to connect all computing devices with the same system of files. In some ways, IPFS is similar to the World Wide Web, but IPFS could be seen as a single BitTorrent swarm, exchanging objects within one Git repository. In other words, IPFS provides a high-throughput, content-addressed block storage model, with content-addressed hyperlinks.[5] This forms a generalized Merkle directed acyclic graph (DAG). IPFS combines a distributed hash table, an incentivized block exchange, and a self-certifying namespace. IPFS has no single point of failure, and nodes do not need to trust each other.[6] Distributed Content Delivery saves bandwidth and prevents DDoS attacks which HTTP struggles with.[4] It seems you know whats up. Nice read If you want to check it out right now but don't have IPFS running you can access it via a gateway.
