~snip~

There are many reasons why I don't recommend you to use Paxful even it is just a small amount.

Check these posts below:

- SCAM!!! PAXFUL.COM Horrible Scams Site!!
- Paxful scamming with fake fees
- Do not use PAXFUL it is a Scammer site.

And many posts here on the forum that there are many scammers on Paxful so I don't recommend it to use.

Coinbase is fine you can use that for a small amount.
What payment option you are planning to use to buy BTC? Debit/credit card or bank account? If you are planning to use this they require to verify your account first with ID and selfie before you can buy with card or bank account.
6302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Beginner Question / PLEASE HELP on: September 11, 2019, 07:16:29 PM
Paxful is not a wallet its a P2P exchange and Coinbase is an exchange site.

I heard that Paxful is not safe to use there are many scammers out there. If you want to buy bitcoin you can buy directly to Coinbase.

Electrum is one of the recommended wallets because you have full control of your private keys, unlike Coinbase. If you want to store your Bitcoin safety choose Electrum wallet.
The right URL for Electrum wallet is this one https://electrum.org
Beware on fake electrum website make sure to use the URL above.
6303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Invalid withdrawal address entered" when transfering between exchanges on: September 10, 2019, 11:51:01 PM
By sending THX to Ethereum address do you mean just THX on Ethereum blockchain or strictly ETH coin address?

You can send THX to any Ethereum address, not on Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum addresses support token Like THX so it is compatible if you send THX to Electrum address.

Sample address of ETH 0xBB9bc244D798123fDe783fCc1C72d3Bb8C189413

Then from ETH explorer https://etherscan.io/address/0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413

Check that explorer and under token you can see all listed token so if you send THX to your ETH address under token you can find the THX after you received the THX token in your ETH address.
6304  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How can I find my coins on: September 10, 2019, 11:08:53 PM
You might be having a connection issue from Electrum to Electrum servers.

Check the Electrum wallet and check the bottom if you can see these images below.

And this

it is a sign that your wallet is not connected to the server.

You need to change the server or set the server automatically by clicking the red circle.
6305  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Miner Insurance on: September 10, 2019, 10:51:38 PM
The search bar above is for specific page it is not for global search but if you want to search something related to mining insurance try to click the magnifying glass near search bar or go to this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search

I think there is no insurance for mining except for facilities just other people said from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2956531.0

Sorry for your loss. That's why I don't use Coinbase wallet because you don't have full control of your private keys if you sent or received coins on the wrong address. Just like what happened to you if you use other wallets like Electrum you can just retrieve the private keys and import it to any BCH wallet of your choice and transfer it anywhere you want.

And honestly, I don't believe that Coinbase can't get the private key or just transfer the BCH back to your specific wallet address they have full control of your wallet.
6307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking For Good Arbitrage Trading Program on: September 10, 2019, 08:24:00 PM
Are you looking for Arbitrage bot or a program?
If you are looking for Arbitrage Trading bot there is one that I know can be trusted which is developed by Gunthy but it requires GunBot license to make it work. They called it BitRage check this thread about this from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134562.0

Since arbitrage trading is just like buy low at exchange1.com and sell it on higher to exchange2.com. The price of the coin on the exchanges is not the same so you are making a profit from an imbalance in the price.
6308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: exchange crypto no id on: September 10, 2019, 07:32:25 PM
Why not gradually exchange them into BTC if you can wait to exchange them again on the next day.

As mention above you can withdraw to 2 BTC limit on both Binance and KuCoin if you exchange them only in binance 2btc every day takes 28+ days to fully withdraw all of your Dash to BTC. But since KuCoin is offering the same thing without KYC you can reduce it to 14 days or 2 weeks. You can also exchange on OKex but the limit for non KYC is 0.5 BTC but it will still help to exchange all of your Dash coins into BTC.

This is the only best option if you are not in hurry but if you can't wait for too long(Days) you need to pass the KYC so suggestion by OmegaStarScream would be the best option "contact friends or parents" to make a verified account and withdraw all converted BTCs.
6309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do I buy BTC as 14 years old with PP/CC on: September 10, 2019, 12:03:24 AM
Another way is to buy BTC on Abra from here https://www.abra.com/buybitcoin/simplex/
You can buy there with Debit/Credit card(Paypal is not supported yet) I don't know if they require KYC right now but most people here in my country bought BTC there in instant without KYC.

Let me ask if the CC is from your parents? If yes you can pass any KYC verification by contacting your parents and make a selfie with IDs and pass it to abra if they required a KYC verification.  You can also buy in Coinbase and submit the selfie of your parents with ID to pass the KYC.
6310  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mempool for private blockchain on: September 09, 2019, 11:36:55 PM
There are some guides on youtube how to make your own stratum pool since the algo is sha256 algo you can mine with ASIC but first, you need to make your own stratum server before you can connect the ASICminer.

There is a free opensource pool you can use check this one https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp and guide below.

- Yiimp pool install ubuntu guide 16.04 server

Youtube guide for other coin and algo:

- Install Mining Pool - Yiimp (Yaamp Fork)
- Tuto : Install Crypto Mining Pool - Yiimp (Without SSL) on Ubuntu 16.04 Server

I hope this is what you're looking for.
6311  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 of my miners failed the same day on: September 09, 2019, 10:08:53 PM
What do you mean by failed?
What is the issue of the miner?

According to the images above all miners are running but the two miner shows only 2 hashboards and the other one shows 3 hashboards but the 3rd hashboard only have 51 ASIC chips so the 12 ASIC chips might be dead.

Let me ask if these two miners with 2 hashboards only have 2 hashboards each? or they have 3 hashboard but the 1 hashboard not showing on the miners status?

Better explain here what exactly the problem of the miner Because you are still getting hashboard on these miners but with lower hashrate.
6312  Other / Meta / Re: How to detect plagiarism on: September 08, 2019, 11:34:37 PM
Plagiarism here on the forum is not easy to find. In my own experienced I always check the patrol and copy all text and paste it to any free plagiarism checker like the link mention above. But I'm doing this for time to time because the forum is flooded by many post and spam so you need to copy the text on the patrol page from time to time and check it to any plagiarism checker.

List of tools that I use for checking plagiarism below:

- Paid Grammarly or Use the free version from here https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker
- Copyscape
- SmallSEOtools Plagiarism Checker
- Duplicate content checker by seoreviewstools
- Dupli Checker
- Manual search with Google - just copy partial and paste it to google.

Combination of paid Grammarly and other tools listed above are good they have different algo of finding plagiarism.
6313  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Strange frequency readout S9; Latest firmware but can't see Enhanced Low Power on: September 08, 2019, 08:28:18 PM
~snip~

It looks like you flash the miner with another version which is no multi option like the above said.

And according to the image, your miners correct model is antminer s9i with "i" not just s9.

There are two august firmware the none and have multi option firmware for this model.

I don't know if you can still flash it with signed firmware because according to firmware desc: "6.You can't upgrade previous secure firmware after using this version"
but you have to try to get the multi-option feature.

Try this one "Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201907302056-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz"
6314  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s9k Infected firmware on: September 08, 2019, 08:13:31 PM
i followed the instruction, unfortunately this file don't flash S9k model Sad(  actually miner don't read the sd-card with this image file. Red and green light constantly keep turning on and never blinking ...

It looks like Bitmain already release a new guide to flash this model. According to this article below, you need to contact their support to get the image for this model.

Check this link:
- S17/S17Pro/S9 SE/S9k/Z11 control board program recovery (SD card flashing with customized PW)

So I think you need to wait for their response about the image for s9k but if you are in hurry you can call them to this number +65-3138-9024 if you are living outside Chinese country but if you living on Chinese country you can contact them directly to this number 400-890-8855 (Monday-Saturday 8:00-21:00)
6315  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s9k Infected firmware on: September 08, 2019, 06:38:17 PM
i think the only way that i can overcome this problem is re-flash the miners from SD-card but i can't find the image file for S9k model Sad

The link already posted above you need to use this one "t9+-SD Tools.zip" after you flash with the t9+ image you can flash it again with s9k firmware but through WebGUI as an update.
Then don't forget to change your administrator's password.

Summary:
t9+-SD tools.zip>WebGui>S9k firmware>change admin pass.

The guide can be found here S9 series (S9, S9i, S9j, S9 Hydro) Control Board Program Recovery

If the above guide didn't work and you still have the virus you need to follow this step by step guide from bitmain below:

- Viruses, malware and remote attacks on Antminers – How to prevent and remove them?
6316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I made a big Mistake on: September 06, 2019, 11:32:05 PM
FruitBasket is right the correct path is this below:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Bitcoin (XP)

C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin (Vista and 7)

Linux:
~/.bitcoin/

Mac
~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

I just want to add this guide below if you need.

- How to move Bitcoin Core Data directory

Since you are a beginner I suggest you use other wallets instead because it takes days or weeks before your wallet fully synced.

You can try Electrum wallet here's the correct website https://electrum.org and learn how to verify the Electrum wallet before you install.
Electrum wallet is a lightweight version of Bitcoin core wallet and it doesn't need to download the whole blockchain.

For the mobile wallet, you can try Mycelium or Electrum mobile you can download them at Playstore.
6317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bot on: September 06, 2019, 10:31:31 PM
GunBot is the only paid trading bot that I know safe to use you can find their official thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.0

But if you are looking for free open source trading bot you  can check Gekko trading bot from here https://github.com/askmike/gekko
6318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie needs help with maiden transaction Electrum Wallet missing deposit. on: September 06, 2019, 10:14:13 PM
When I search for the transaction I get the following:

https://btc-explorer.com/address/bc1qcvyflvy2tzkpjvjgh0sfg5p82hdep6kej6hhhw

I suspect that the problem with be with Electrum wallet itself. Some reason why the light is red and it is not connecting.
~snip~

You still have a balance on this address so it should show on your Electrum wallet.

Have you tried to check the network server if it set to automatic or not. You can find the network server by going to Tools>Network>Server then look for "Select Server Automatically" if its disabled you can try to enable it then reopen the Electrum wallet again but if it's enabled then disable it and choose server manually you can choose any server under "server peers" make sure to right-click the server and choose "use as server" Then check it again.

Let see if it will work just update here if it fixes your issue.
6319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At wits end, need help! on: September 06, 2019, 09:43:49 PM
Let me ask if your bank account information is matched to your Coinbase account information like name?

Because I heard someone restricted after many successfully deposit/withdrawal and the issue is the name and other information are different from the bank account and Coinbasse account.

If this is your issue you must remove your bank account from your Coinbase account and change your information from Coinbase account before you connect the bank account again.

Alternative if you have Debit/Credit card you can try to buy on Abra if you are in hurry from here https://www.abra.com/buybitcoin/simplex/
6320  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: One Hashboard Low Hashrate - High HWerro - Temp 15 Help on: September 06, 2019, 08:50:31 PM
You can get some abnormal temp if your sensor is damaged.

Can you try to hard reset the miner by holding IPreporter/reset button for 15 seconds then release?
After that test it again if it still shows abnormal temp it means that the temp sensor is damaged.

You can do some troubleshooting and find which hashboard is showing 15 temp. You can follow this guide below:
---> " Test hashboard one by one"
Then try to clean the hashboard with abnormal temp or replace it with new hashboard.

Or if you don't care about the sensor you can switch to Braiins OS then disable the temp sensors and check the miner again. If your miner is stable you can stay with this OS.
