6301  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ongoing bounty campaign on: November 18, 2020, 04:42:36 PM
Just read each of those threads that you can find on Bounties.

Read the campaign or bounty rules and see if you fit with the criteria that they have set.
6302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Altcoins, DeFi and what's next? on: November 18, 2020, 04:14:41 PM
IMO, the next trend will be the same as the cycle before.

What if ICO will come back in life and PayPal will start it out? Citibank is also showing the sign of its interest or they have already had an entry to it and they'll start the same hype as before?

Just my thought too.  Cheesy
6303  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 18, 2020, 03:38:55 PM
Hitbtc is known for that kind of problem, it's typical for them to encounter such problems.

i will give $500 for help, and i withdraw the remain $3100
Things might get worse if you hire someone to do that for you.

I used to have a similar case with you on HitBTC but it's done...
I think this problem occurs because you do not follow their KYC procedures? contact their customer support service and give your reasons, if you are willing to do KYC then just do it. Now I have never traded on HitBTC, it is much more comfortable and safer on Binance.
In other exchanges, this is almost the same scenario. If the amount seems to be high on their notice, they will really ask you kyc.
6304  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pfizer company has successfully developed covid-19 Vaccine on: November 18, 2020, 02:28:14 PM
What I've seen on the news says that they're 90% effective. Is that percentage going to increase up to 99.9% or 100%?

So the media just ignores that China had its own vaccine, while Pfizer after getting good results, it was publicly reported.

This is only the 1st analysis so it will increase to 100%.
They are not in Final stages yet.
Just in.

The percentage has increased to 95%

--> https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-18/pfizer-biontech-plan-filing-as-vaccine-proves-95-effective

I wonder how they measure the effectiveness in percentage.
6305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 18, 2020, 01:51:12 PM
Gambling is actually an entertainment for me, but with losses it can cause depression. It all depends on the amount of loss and other life factors such loss of money borrowed or something like that.  Since the probability of losing in any one session is higher as compared to winning, there is much need for control at the start and keeping a fun mindset before it slides down to a certain point - at which I stop.
Every gambler who deals with losses can be depressed if it's a losing streak. I've been in that situation that I've felt hopeless when I keep on losing.

Even if the amount is low or high but if you see the stats not favoring you, you'll think as hopeless. And if the situation is you just borrowed money, well, that's more than you think of being a hopeless.
6306  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is KYC needed Always for Crypto Trading? on: November 18, 2020, 01:16:50 PM
They are registered exchanges and they want to know their customers. I think if it's not for the government, they are ok with no KYC. But since they are a business and huge money coming into them, they have to ask KYC.

How about try withdrawing in batches with small amounts? does that work to you?
No, cause there is always a amount like 1000$ so if you withdraw 100$ a day then when you reach 1000$ in total value they asking for kyc. Then it’s mandatory to do kyc.
Well, try first the suggested exchange of shapeshift, or else there's no solution but you have to comply.

I can't think of any other suggestion if you always reach the threshold set for no kyc accounts.
6307  Other / Off-topic / Re: More Celebrities interested in Bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 12:39:17 PM
I just checked her twitter and this is the Final results- Yes 46.6% and No 53.4% and 902,304 voted.

I think its good that she has so many votes and maybe her 2m twitter followers will Google 'bitcoin'.
I agree.

Even with the higher percentage vote for the No, that's still a free exposure for bitcoin. Well, nobody will pay for the exposure of bitcoin from these celebrities.

That's a sure thing that even 1% of those voters will start searching for bitcoin and will be surprised that it's near to its past ath.
6308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best tools to help with your crypto trading? on: November 18, 2020, 02:34:01 AM
Have you used any of these? I would love to hear about your experience!
None of those I've used.

This simply talks about these tools.

Shrimpy
Gekko
Zenbot
Hummingbot
Cryptoblizz

But i do see that this one is trying out to shill Shrimpy?  Cheesy
Yeah, he seems to be part of the app.

I don't use bots for trading but I'm sure there are helpful tools that actually improve one's experience and make them more productive. The one that I've read and familiar to me isn't indicated on that article.

6310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading... on: November 17, 2020, 12:46:53 PM
Copy trading is fine on highly liquid and large market cap assets.

When cap and/or liquidity is low, it can turn into some pump and dump schemes where pro traders use followers as a leverage for quick profit.
Some platforms as etoro only trade large cap assets which acknowledge for this risk by default.
That's one kind of copy trading.

But that won't teach the individual trader to grow in this market if he's just going with the group that he joined. Pump and dump groups are tricky, they will make you profit and look that you really are.

For long term aspect then it is really worth if you do learn for yourself and not to rely with bots because you wont really be that independent if you do
keep on copying others calls and tips.. Some people do really rely with this copy trading because they do love that have an easy life and easy profits.
Yes, they can earn money on passive but once these traders stopped on letting people follow then what would you do? Also
not all calls and tips are that precise or profitable no matter how good the trader is you cant really make out some guarantees.
IIRC, most of the people that have shared their thoughts and experiences about copy trading, many of them told that it's not worth it.

It is the reason why you only trust yourself if it comes to managing your investments and trades.
6311  Other / Off-topic / Re: More Celebrities interested in Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 10:01:18 AM
We will never know the answer to those questions.

But we assure that these celebrities are giving exposure to bitcoin and that's a big gain for it. As long as they maintain a conversation involving bitcoin, they are helping bitcoin to be known to their followers and fans.

I know Elon has his personal interest in bitcoin and probably bluffs that he has around 0.01BTC.
6312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just poked that GUY on: November 17, 2020, 09:29:28 AM
Guess his feeling now  Grin
Shame and deleted that post.

I want to do this on social media but I don't want to disturb other speculators who are making fun of bitcoin. Guess what? I'm laughing at them now silently.  Tongue
6313  Other / Off-topic / Re: Win Updates Disabler v1.4 on: November 16, 2020, 11:04:36 PM
Avoid downloading links from unknown sources. There are people who will try to install you malware that you are not expecting.

If for Windows updates, it is automatically being done by them and you only need to agree on it without the need to download anything.
6314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Watching videos on YouTube with less data on: November 16, 2020, 10:43:29 PM
^
Yes, that will lessen the consumption of data but it will sacrifice the video quality.

I rarely or almost not watch a Youtube video with that quality even I want to save data.

That's the truth of the matter...
Any better options
Close all other apps that consumes data while you are using Youtube on your phone.

That's the other option that I can think of.
6315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 16, 2020, 10:21:10 PM
Advices won't work to those gamblers that are addicted already. It's difficult to cure addiction and simple advices can not even help a little. Gambling addicts need to shift their attention into other things and they need a family care for recovery. That's why it's very hard to be atrached on something that will destroy your life.
They need to be willing to help themselves.

Doing such help even with their family will only help if they start helping themselves. The habit can't be removed easily but with their own help to themselves, the cure will make it easy for them to moderate it.

6317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 16, 2020, 09:29:04 PM
And besides, the addicted gambler also is the number one responsible for His choice as well too. Gambling shouldn't be a habit instead, this should only be an amusement only.
We are responsible for every move that we do as gamblers.

Just pay attention and always check if you're still on the right track when you're gambling. Very easy to say about amusement and habit but you'll never know how difficult they are tackling that problem.

The struggle of thinking and doing it as what we say can't be done by them easily.

No one to be blame if you involve yourself into this vice, it's your own decision in the first place allowing things to happened with you.
As instead of being entertained your engagements brings you to becoe heavy player.

Once gambling already inside your minds, it's difficult to removed it more gambling addicts needs attentions to the point of having
professionals to assess and help to recover to start a new life.

Play with responsibilities, never to attached too much.
Just as I've said.

We can give those advices to those addicted gamblers easily. But it is on them and they find it hard to follow it because emotionally, they know what they do.

And they have to do a lot of things for the recovery of it. Following others advice don't matter to them.
6318  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where to learn Online about Digital marketing for the blockchain space on: November 16, 2020, 08:56:39 PM
There are several aspects to learn blockchain. You will find a bundle of courses for beginners and advanced level and also free materials available online. I had a course at uni where we learned a lot about digital marketing and blockchain technology, and I think it's one of the best courses they've added lately to our program.
To become more helpful.

Much better if you will give the link for that course and free materials for those people who would like to learn online about blockchain or digital marketing.

Locating it geographically, typhoons are really coming to the country. And it's not the only country that tackles with typhoons and floods and earthquakes.

It happens everywhere in the world. Sending my prayers to you.

The calamity is also showing how people are uniting and helping each other to stand up for survival.
6320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why I prefer PS5 on: November 16, 2020, 05:35:46 PM
I’m so wowed with the features of the newly released PS5, not only is the graphics highly sharp but more powerful. The mind blowing part is it’s GPU and CPU are powerful compared to that of PS4 Pro –  you need to see how it load games faster and big  thanks to its internal NVMe SSD. For all gamers you need to check it out with its amazing soccer, war and adventure games well loaded.
I'm still getting more info for personal experiences from those people that have purchased PS5.

And I'm also in that thinking if I have to buy it or spend the budget for it for a while before purchasing it.
