6321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If core bitcoin community moved from Bitcointalk to Reddit then.. on: September 14, 2019, 11:49:39 PM
If Bitcointalk is dead because "core bitcoin community moved from Bitcointalk to Reddit" then
who are all these people now having discussions on Bitcointalk? Asking for a friend..

How you can think it will happen? Do you take own research?
What makes them think to choose Reddit? Is it better than Bitcointalk for the Bitcoin community?

Core Bitcoin community must consider many things before thinking to move to Reddit.
Bitcointalk already provided all things that Bitcoin communities need and with very easy access.
Moreover, it has been trusted for years and almost no big problems here.
So, I don't see big reasons for the core Bitcoin community to move to Reddit.
6322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 14, 2019, 11:19:14 PM
Of course, I will remember the losses and calculate them. I think we cannot say it is a big win if there are still more losses. Even though, it cannot return the money we spent for months. So, how can he feels very ecstatic about the winning?  Grin
6323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 14, 2019, 11:07:39 PM
you already answer your own question op  . i can never think of any reason anymore.

gambling site helps crypto but i think crypto also help the gambling site because even before days that internet existed ,

I agree with you. Basically, the question was already answered by the OP himself. But he may be still curious about other opinions, or he wants to ensure himself whether it is true or wrong.

For me, since people can use crypto to play the game there, it is automatically the real adoption of cryptocurrency. Then, more famous the gambling sites mean the more people use crypto there. It is actually an effective way for the adoption of cryptocurrency.

6325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 13, 2019, 11:51:39 PM
The sca projects can really influence the trust and convenience for the investors to try investing in other projects again. But, this is also available to be used as one of the ways to be more careful and as a lesson for future investment. Many investors have experienced being scammed. Therefore, thye will be strict enough to select which project to invest next, based on analysis and other research again.
6326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT A SIGN OF FAILURE OR Scam? on: September 13, 2019, 11:42:39 PM
Not at all, most projects that pay the members of signature bounty participants are commonly successful. and they are commonly the coins that have been already used for the real use case. Basically, it is not about the coin of them to be paid for the participants. It is about the appreciation for the selected participants to get the rewards on BTC or ETH because they will be more interested, but it doesn't mean that the coins are scams. I have joined this kind of signature campaign and mostly they are successful. And to be one of the selected participants of those signature campaigns with ETH and BTC payment, we must compete highly, the rule and regulations are more strict, and only the qualified members are chosen.
6327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 12, 2019, 11:57:56 PM
Many new projects failed in the end mostly because of the lack of interest from investors. It seems investors are not really confident to invest in new projects as many scams and low-quality projects. Moreover, commonly new coins/tokens are not profitable anymore because of severe pumps after they are listed on exchanges.
6328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: September 12, 2019, 11:19:40 PM
Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero.

I agree with Vitalik, all crypto coins potentially go to zero someday but we don't know how long it is. Not only crypto, but Fiat may also disappear someday as some theories stated the potential of no value of Fiats in the future. However, it is still predictions/hypothesis and not to happen in the near future. So, we don't need to be panic now because everything still supports crypto or even Fiat as well.
6329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE A REGULATORY BODY on: September 12, 2019, 10:51:05 PM
Is there a regulatory body for bitcoin price?

As we know so far, Bitcoin is decentralized. So, no institutions regulate the Bitcoin price on the market.
It is already described here : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Principles_of_Bitcoin

The traditional answer in a free market is "supply and demand." When buyers outnumber sellers, price rises.

Yes, exactly. Basically, the price of Bitcoin or Ethereum will depend on the supply-demand on the market. But we may consider another factor like pump-dump activity. Currently, this also determines how the values of crypto coins, including Bitcoin or Ethereum.
6330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: September 11, 2019, 11:00:37 PM
Definitely.
However, can all IEO projects list their token on the big exchanges? I think that it is very small.
To list on the big exchange, big funds are needed. And not all project team has big funds to start their new project, except they are the representative of the existing big companies.

I think that if this is rare enough, we can decrease the criteria, at least, the exchange that is trusted, listed on CMC, with god trading volume.
6331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick Review over NRG Energi coin Is this coin gonna moon? on: September 11, 2019, 10:41:57 PM
Well, it may be interesting if seeing the progress of NRG coin to develop. This is one of the altcoins that has been in rank 73 CMC.
I see the price of the coin has been increasing, up to 3.14%. It is good enough, isn't it?
However, is it only a short hype or can it last longer?
6332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project? on: September 11, 2019, 10:34:38 PM
Can the name of a project provide significant benefit or detriment to a project if it is appropriate/unappropriate or unattractive/attractive -sounding?

If talking about the significant benefit to the project, I don't think that it will give the significant one.
However, the name of the project can be one of the points that will make the investors interested, it can be from its uniqueness, interesting name, or even a name that is easy enough to remember.
6333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: charge fee for IEO listings on: September 10, 2019, 11:50:42 PM
Do you plan to provide IEO on an exchange?

I think the best way to know about it in detail by asking the team of the exchanges yourself. You can contact them via email or social media like their telegram group. I doubt if every project may have different charge fee for IEO listings. So, for the valid dan updated information, you should contact them yourself.
6334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: September 10, 2019, 11:44:00 PM
Sorry don't be offended, of course if bitcoin continue worldwide mass adoption it's obviously bitcoin become growing and their price are become too much expensive if that scenario begun.

It is already adopted massively, mate. And It has improved very well for 10 years or more.

What you mean by "scenario begun"? Do you mean about the sustainability of worldwide mass adoption?

10 year from now is very possible that whole crypto currency become a very popular and mass growing adioption of every country and companies

We are not discussing the condition of Bitcoin after 10 years from now.
Look! OP said "Following 10 years of presence,........".
It means all about the condition of Bitcoin adoption on the last 10 years.
6335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO rating websites we can use on: September 09, 2019, 11:59:07 PM
Yeah, I also don't trust any ICO rating websites since all of them have the same possibility to manipulate the rates. The team members/developers of ICO projects can pay some money to the ICO rating websites, and finally give fake rates for the projects.
So, if you have experienced friends or trader/investor telegram group, you are better to ask them. It can be more effective than taking a look at ICO rating websites. Or improve your knowledge to find out good projects through own research.
6336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US Government Trying To Control Crypto? on: September 09, 2019, 11:49:34 PM

Wait? Let me read it carefully?
I think the information on the article is about the new expansion of Binance to have customers from US.
It is good news for investors or traders from US, they will have a chance to join Binance legally.
So, I don't see the issue about "US government trying to control crypto" there.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even if the US government tries to control crypto, I am not sure it is possible like controlling USD.
I can't imagine how the US government claims to be the controller and make some regulations for crypto space.
Did the US government create crypto space? Even if they provide some proofs, I doubt the community around the world will agree.
6337  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Adakah cara untuk mempercepat adopsi bitcoin di Indonesia? on: September 09, 2019, 06:48:24 PM

Diskusinya jadi dilanjut atau di lock om?  Smiley

Monggo Om dilanjut, sepertinya masih seru.
6338  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TIPS & TRIK] Menghindari postingan agan dihapus (menghindari Junk Post) on: September 09, 2019, 06:32:12 PM

At least, perhatikan beberapa hal berikut :
1. Gunakan fitur "search"
2. Topik punya tujuan yang jelas [No asal topik]
4. No plagiarism

4. Pahami benar pokok bahasan sebelum berkomentar/bertanya

5. Istirahat posting sejenak

Asal jangan kelamaan istirahatnya. Tar malah kelupaan cara posting.  Grin

6340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: September 08, 2019, 11:59:47 PM
Most of these ICO projects started or came to the market at the wrong time.

What do you mean by "came at wrong time"? It is about the time or the marketing strategy or the quality of the project itself?
I think there is no wrong time if it is a good project made by quality team members. They must know what crypto market needs and how to make an ICO be interested. The marketing strategy should be the point, but don't forget finally the quality of the project will determine the success or failure in the end.
