Going through laliga table, I was so surprised found Valencia at the relegation zone of table with 26 points accumulated since the beginning of the season, I can't just imagining seeing Valencia at that position at this time of the season, because I believe that Valencia is average team in laliga and not that too weak team that I am expecting them to relegate.at this point Valencia need to put more effort and to start to be extra strong till end of the season so they accumulate more points, but if the team can continue like this I may say they will surely relegate. Chelsea fan are really not happy with the situation at hand and with the way Thomas Tuchel wants to take one of the coaches he worked with at Chelsea to Bayern, I just can't see how that's going to stop the development of the team (Chelsea). Well they just need to forget the fact that he's (T.Tuchel) no longer part of them and focus on getting back to winning ways and hitting that top 4 position to enable them play Champions league football next season because I don't see them getting a chance to win the UCL this season.
With Madrid having a upper hands in that encounter it will be a game Chelsea need to work harder to be able to win, not like playing teams in the EPL so more work need to be done and Potter is going to be blamed if something happens in that game.
Very sad but Chelsea fans have to forget the good old days with Thomas Tuchel because if they continue to remember it will be painful, moreover the former coach has started his new ship captain with Bayern Munich. In the rest of this season, Chelsea must get up soon, at least if they can't finish in the top 4 they are in a better position than that. Leverkusen don't seem to have a low chance to advance to the next stage. It is the opposite way. I thought that Ronaldo ended his national team career by the last World Cup. However I have found out with this Luxembourg game that he hasn't ended it yet.

Ronaldo would like to become a winner in a big tournament with Portugal before his retirement I assume. But I don't know if Portugal can give him this. We need to see their performances improving in big games as well. This is only the qualifiers for now but it is very important to join the main tournament of course.

Rennes - Lens is another game on next week to be played. It is an important game for both of these teams for qualifying for tournaments in Europe.
Rennes have a chance for even the Europa League now. The gap with Monaco is only four points which can be closed in the remaining time period of the season. Lens on the other hand are trying to qualify for the Champions League. They can even make it to the group stage if they manage to take the second position. However Marseille are a really challenging team to beat them about this. Lens beat them in their latest head-to-head game though. But I still don't think Rennes will lose. They newly beat PSG away shockingly so they should be motivated to win here as well.
After beating PSG very well, of course that should motivated Rennes squad to get points against Lens, although on a head to head record Lens is better rather than Rennes but later they will favored because they are playing at home. Also Lens when playing away they are not too good, so far in 14 matches they have only been able to get 4 wins 8 draws and 2 lost. And my guess for this match will end with a draw results, because I think Lens also don't want to lose points for stay close with Marseille. Maybe there is a point if Lens have to secure at least 1 point in this match because they are targeting to keep close to Marseille in the standings. But if Lens can get the full 3 points then it's actually very good they will shift Marseille's position. But what is clear is that Rennes is not an easy opponent to beat, they have a very good record in the last 5 Ligue 1 matches by winning 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Of course Lens will have a lot of trouble trying to steal points from the hosts, I also think with you that this match will likely end in a 1-1 draw. |

I cannot decide this by myself. We have seen Bayern Munich perform really well before even though they had not been in the best of situations. They have come back even after having point disadvantages. That might happen again. But at the same time, this actually might be the first time in 11 years that anyone else will be able to win the Bundesliga title.

To be honest, I doubt quite a bit if Bayern Munich can win the Bundeliga title this season. As everyone knows, Bayern Munich has experienced ups and downs regarding the results of the matches obtained and now they have to compete with Dortmund for the title. But since last month I started recapping the results of the matches between Bayern Munich and Dortmund, here I finally decided to bet on Dortmund to win the Bundesliga season 22/23.  Maybe many people still doubt Dortmund to be able to shift Bayern Munich from its throne for the past few seasons, but I am very confident about the performance of Edin Terzic's squad. Let's see what will happen in the rest of the season. |

Leeds are no match for Arsenal as you know. There is an enormous gap between these teams now and this game between them in Emirates should end up with a comfortable victory for Arsenal as well.
Arsenal are on a really tough road going to the championship now. They have a safe gap with Manchester City for now but is still not that wide anyway. Arsenal have no other choice than maintaining their focus until the end of the season. They just can't underestimate any of their remaining opponents. Leeds are one of them. They are a really weak team at defending. Arsenal should be able to tear them apart in my opinion.
Every match played by Arsenal in the rest of the season feels like a final and they must win consistently to secure the EPL title this season. If Arsenal lose, then Manchester City will definitely take advantage of this opportunity. There is a really nice competition between Freiburg and Leipzig for the fourth position in the standings now. Freiburg are ahead by a slight gap for now but the balances can change all of a sudden.
It depends on which side to play much better. On next game week I think both of these teams will finish it with three points. I don't expect either Mainz or Hertha Berlin to make big difficulties for them. The final weeks can be really interesting about the Champions League fight as well. We are watching another similar scenario to the previous season. Let's see which one of these teams will make it this time. Freiburg lost this battle before.
It would be reasonable to conclude that both teams have important matches in a few weeks as they are racing very closely. In this case, there is only one point difference between these two teams. In the event that Hertha Berlin defeats Freiburg next week, Leipzig will have a strong chance to take the place of Freiburg. On the other hand, statistically H2H Marseille is always ahead with a win over Montplier, but Marseille wins by a narrow score and in my opinion that is quite risky. Apart from that playing at home seems to be a separate motivation for Marseille to secure an additional 3 points. Marseille's victory in the previous game against Reims is also a very important asset when they face Montpellier later. Actually, Marseille's position in the second position of the table is in danger and they can lose their's place if they lose some points and Lens can definitely sue the chance to take their place. Even though in the Carabao Cup Final Newcastle had to submit but at least this match will be very well utilized by E Howe's troops. It's quite risky if later Manchester United fails to secure 3 points against Newcastle, while the difference of only 1 point from Spurs makes things worse for the red devils. But I also believe that Erik ten hag's squad will be able to beat Newcastle later, even though in my opinion it is also quite difficult. Sevilla are in a really problematic situation in the La Liga these days. They are still in the same fight which is not to relegate from the league. It doesn't look like it will end until the end of the season as well. Because there is not really a big progress in their results recently. They are still losing points easily by showing an inadequate level of performance. Their defending is still too weak and they can't make up for this weakness by scoring more goals than they concede either.
I know they are concentrated on the Europa League more because it is their only chance about joining the Champions League group stage again. But they can't risk their presence in the La Liga at the same time. It would be shocking to see this Sevilla relegating despite having good players in the squad.
Looking at Sevilla's last match, which they lost to Getafe, it clearly shows that they did not achieve good results. From the last few matches, it seems that the Europa League is their priority. What's more, the remaining matches we have in La Liga make it clear that Sevilla's potential will end badly. Actually the first leg is always a pretty important match. but unfortunately the first leg looks like it will be the most difficult match for Chelsea. I had read rumors that Newcastle were still monitoring the development of McTominay's future. As rumored Newcastle had his name on the list as a target since January last winter. 3. Nathan Broadhead (Wales) scored a last-minute equalizer when Wales were trailing Croatia and it was his first goal for the Wales national team.

Maybe I will add a new face from one of the Italian players, namely Mateo Retegui. As we know that England managed to beat Italy in the first qualifying game. Even so, the young Italian striker managed to record his first goal for his debut wearing the Italian national team uniform. Maybe we rarely hear his name because he plays for one of the Argentinian clubs Tigre, but with the refreshments in the Italian attack now, I hope they can move on in the next qualifying round. |
