I don't get it. WHAT secondary password are you people talking about??
All I know is that to log in to my blockchain.info account, all I need is my identifier(which can be found on my email) and my password.
I've never seen a second password anywhere. There is a passphrase I could create but that is for the identifier(like a backup for my identifier in case I lose access to my email in which case the passphrase could be provided to blockchain.info to verify the ownership of the account.)
Anyway, as far as I know, if you lose your password then you lose your funds. Blockchain.info says they don't store user's passwords they can't help you retrieve it if lost.
in the option under security there is a way to encrypt your wallet with a 2nd password.. i highly recommend it.. if someone hacks your account they still cant spend anything without this password. 2FA is better than having a secondary password. I don't use two passwords as it's already tough to remember one. The email confirmation security is better than having 2 passwords. In such cases, the wallet funds are completely lost if there's no backup or primary key stored. In such cases where you can't recover the funds from your own account by even proving you're the owner, the wallets are useless. Keeping the master seed or the 12 mnemonic pass phrases of blockchain.info is much better than the other option, or the keeping the private keys instead. If you don't have that in you hand then its possible that you can recover your funds but because you're too lazy who forgets to read this important page on that site https://blockchain.info/wallet/security it simply helps you to secure your funds. |

Because like hell, no one cares about it. And no, he's not hiding anything. Its just like no one ask for his/her identity. Has anyone seen Satoshi in real life?
Who knows? Maybe yes and maybe no, no one knows him/her so how can be he/she recognized in real life? Is Satoshi one person? Or is it a community?
He/she is a person not a community nor a group of people. He/she come up this idea and he/she knows that people will need this project as time passes by thats why he/she make it as open source so developers out there will continue his/her work as time goes. |

This list of Twitter campaigns wasn't updated since 4th January and OP isn't active on forum since 14th January. If you decided to create overview of campaigns, you have to update it frequently. Best example is overview of signature campaign, which is updated daily.
Don't compare the overview of signature campaigns in this overview it's obvious that every week there are new signature campaigns that pops up, and almost every other day there are changes, unlike this campaigns that is rarely to have in this forum. But the issue here is OP didn't update the list since Jan 4, or maybe OP is just busy in his personal life. I agree that that we don't need to compare this thread and overview of signature campaigns, I only gave example. But if OP decided to creat this topic, is it so hard to update it at least once a weak. Why he created this list of Twitter campaigns if he don't make any updates. If he wont continue this i will create new tread for this in next week and try to maintain it as much is possible. This requires lot of work and for now i would like to hear your suggestion what should be placed as information for new tread is it ok like I mentioned in my eary post here on this tread or need to improved a little.
