Enjoying the site for awhile and just registered again (after losing my old account years ago and unable to recall even my old username).

I understand that one must be a full member in order to upload an avatar. I would like to inquire on how may posts (or what requirement required) to enable my full member status here so I may begin to achieve that accomplishment.

This site is so much more massive since I last visited. To give an idea how long it has been, I mined many bitcoins on my laptop back in the day. So yeah.

Anyway, hello once again and I look forward to meeting many of you here over time.

-CTS-

Hey welcome back to the forum if I may ask which year was it, were you there when Satoshi was there or you came later?. As you have already been informed about merits, I would suggest you to start making some quality constructive posts, and then put them in merit give away threads to begin with. Also in my experience I have seen many people rank up if they focus on quality, so just post quality and soon you’ll rank up.

When DuckDice created this official thread, we didn't make it a self moderated topic, we wanted to ensure that there will be no censorship and any feedback about DuckDice, no matter how harsh, will be available to the public. Amrendrapatanjali, game-protect you completely ruining this idea, this is far beyond fair use.

Please stop spamming official threads guys, this helps to no one.

i would just start a new thread for duckdice. and link to this thread from there if people want to see old posts.

i stopped reading threads where game-protect posts in.

Hey that’s not allowed each site is allowed to create one thread for their Ann, if each site owner decides to do that then there will be multiple threads about the same site. As for your issue with a particular member, there’s a very nice button called ignore user you can use it and visit any thread. Also if Duckdice feels any post should be deleted they should report the post, then the mods can take action against it.
6323  Economy / Gambling / Re: BIT-EXO.COM 🏆Contests💰Jackpots📈Invest🎁Faucet🎲Dice🎰Slots🔺Plinko🎡Roulette on: February 11, 2019, 03:20:43 AM
Happy anniversary bit-exo !! I wasn't there when the site first started but been around for over 2 years and so glad to be part of exo family

was hoping poker would be ready by now so we can celebrate the anniversary with some slots n go , but the current promotion is still great

for new people there is really huge value in this promotion since the site is still new and not so many people are online and wagering btc , so it makes sense to bet at least today  Wink

Happy Anniversary to Bit Exo being in a competitive industry like this for three years is a difficult task, but you have managed to survive and grow. I too wasn’t there when it started, but it always feels good to be part of a legit casino which has stood the test of time. I feel the promotions are decent for any gambler willing to try out this site, but going ahead they’ll need to make bigger competition to compete for gamblers attention.
6324  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 10, 2019, 06:04:17 PM

To be honest I'm not sure if any of our presumptions work in the space. Any new business move should be qualified by actual market research, which I believe is still quite lacking in this space. If you think about it, most people are just doing what feels right, but I don't think anything is set in stone.

With dice I do agree based on my own experience that dicers like playing everywhere. If they like 3 places, they play at 3 places. And so new dice sites can always benefit from having a good system, because old and existing players will always come to play.

Poker is different I guess. But there isn't a crypto poker place that's really tried to make it big without relying on outside software. I'm not confident it's for BitDice in that sense.

Hey I don’t think it’s a good idea for Bitdice to get into poker, as I have said it before I have seen very few people ask for it, and even in the gambling section there’re very few poker fans. Also Bitdice is known to all as a premier dice site, to get poker players they’ll have to lots of branding which could cause them to loose dice players. I feel Bitdice is good the way it is, and I feel Alex won’t be making any changes soon.
6325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are prominent crypto enthusiast saying bitcoin will dip to $1000 ? on: February 10, 2019, 04:15:41 PM
Decreasing and increasing is a possibility, and it's better not to quickly believe in other people's predictions, and better do your own research to make a profit. A decrease of 1k is indeed a possibility if bitcoin is abandoned, but I don't think it will happen this year.

Hey these are baseless statements made by the so called experts, with the sole aim to cause panic among the investors. They have tried saying these numbers year after year, but it has never happened and it will never happen again. I believe one should ignore these experts, and do their own due diligence or else they will end up making losses.
6326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: February 10, 2019, 11:52:32 AM
Panic selling happens but in this bear market, people are selling off with the expectations to buy back at lower price.  Accumulation period.  Unlike the bull market, you can see the reverse happens.  After selling, many people are buying back at a higher price with the expectation that the price will go higher.  They do not want to miss out of the profit.

Hey at current levels I’m not expecting anyone to be selling, not even the panic sellers as most of them sold at 3200$ levels. I feel you have guessed it correctly most sold earlier, and then they kept buying at different levels, even at current levels I believe people are buying. In my personal opinion we’re in the acculumation phase, and if more people start to adopt we could kick start a rally in coming days.
6327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: February 10, 2019, 07:36:41 AM
Fud news is only affected beginners with little knowledge, for the one that already got experienced,we know what is capability of Bitcoin, for now many countries still hesitate to adopt Bitcoin but most of us already can feel the usage of Bitcoin, once it is adopting by a lot of countries you will regret not to invest Bitcoin earlier, if we check the transactions volume we can see that a lot of people still like to invest in Bitcoin,so it's impossible for Bitcoin to suddenly dead

Hey I'll second that newbies are always falling for fud, as they have zero knowledge of how Bitcoins works. Also panic sellers have shown an tendency to believe fud, as they do not bother to do basic due diligence and their negligence effects bitcoin prices. It's pertinent to note that the adoption rate has increased this year, and I'm sure many countries will be adopting it by the year end.
6328  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | ETH & LTC Accepted! 👽 on: February 10, 2019, 04:42:58 AM
The theme change in the forum is part of the new interface 2.0 for the whole website. You can read the forum thread here:
https://forum.stake.com/topic/18549-%F0%9F%93%A2-dark-forum-theme-released/

Hey that’s a welcome addition I feel this theme is being adopted by many sites in general, there’s a huge demand for the dark theme. I have personally been switching to the dark mode, as and when I get a chance as it is easier to read on the site. I’m hoping other sites also follow suit and allow users to choose the dark theme, as these days all want it.
6329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2019, 06:02:28 PM
And just like that, Manchester United are in the top 4 (for now) and just 6 points behind Spurs...What the hell is it with this Man Utd? They just can't lose  Tongue and what a game from Pogba, easily the MOTM.

Is Lukaku on the pitch?  I don't see him around.  Lololol.
I'm surprised he played the whole game, maybe Solskjaer wanted to rest Rashford for the CL game next week.

Hey the old Manchester United was playing under Mourinho philosophy which had made their lives toxic, but under Ole they have found happiness, confidence and the will to play. I’m not surprised by his impact he build the team around Pogba, made sure all players even those on the bench stay happy. Rashford had a dead leg, and with one eye on the Champions League clash it made sense to keep him on the bench.
6330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Half of all Phishing Sites Now Have the Padlock Sign on: February 09, 2019, 01:41:49 PM
Now that's scary, since I usually eye for the padlocks. But just to pay several bucks extra doesn't cost much when the returns are greater since more people tend to fall for them.

I have never really given much weightage for that padlock sign, as any site can get it via a free ssl. I have made it a habit to either bookmark my regular sites, or type their entire name.com till I find the legitimate one. I also would advise people whenever you visit a new site you’re not sure off, use a dummy email, and a 16 digit password like i do let them go nuts cracking that.
6331  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 09, 2019, 11:20:43 AM

I can say that the one who got the first prize was very lucky indeed. He had the lowest number of tickets but he got the top prize. Playing on this site since 2014-2015, but stopped for 3 years and come back this year only. Good thing you can recover your pw by providing the email address you used before. Never won from the lottery ever since.  Sad

I'd treat the lottery thing as a bonus since I'm not even confident on winning it anyway Cheesy

But don't all sites do the same thing about the pw recovery thingy?

Hey he got very lucky it’s been quiet a while since I saw someone with the lowest tickets, win the the top price on the site. It doesn’t matter how long you play on the site, if it’s your lucky day you could win it any week keep trying. I’m not sure what you meant about the email though, because all online sites have that system in place?.
6332  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 24 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: February 09, 2019, 03:23:54 AM
No matter what type of different setting or a strategy or a system they work with, house edge is covering all of that. There is no strategy that negates the house edge hence there is never a chance for a gambler to win in the long term. That is why the most beautiful scenario for a gambler and a casino is that casino provides a lot of fun and entertainment for the gambler while gambler has enough money to go and gamble while having fun and see that as a time well spent. That is why most of the casinos in Las Vegas do stand up shows and boxing fights and stuff like that so that you would go there and have fun while losing your money.

If someone comes in thinking they can actually profit from gambling that is bad for him and also since that person is almost always under informed about how casinos work they make a big headache for the casinos as well even tough they are wrong.

I feel you have a valid point as the house edge always works in favour of the casino, also you’re right as there’s no strategy that works for the long term it’s only your luck that helps you survive. Once in a while however a gambler comes along, and wins big so that does hurts the casino if he cashes out. The casinos in Las Vegas need those shows to keep people locked in, only then will they be making real money, and I feel it’s a fair strategy from casinos point of view.
6333  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BEST time to buy bitcoin is not there yet,but coming soon, don't miss it ! on: February 08, 2019, 05:27:10 PM
Of course, it's very possible that Bitcoin price can fall lower but you can't count on that and take it for sure. If you want to invest in Bitcoin you have to take certain risks and make decisions. Current price is prety decent and in some period of time the price will rise so you can count on profit. But like I said you have to also accept the risk of losing and have the stategy to recover.

Hey if you keep searching answers of futures in the past you’ll never be able to see the opportunities that are there in present times, what if the op conclusion is wrong and bitcoins prices never go down? I feel we should not look at old charts as bitcoin is a volatile currency, and back then circumstances were different than they’re now. As we’re discussing here bitcoins has already gained up to 300$, which shows there is an upwards trend and I feel one should buy it now or regret missing out later.
6334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: February 08, 2019, 03:00:28 PM
The government will not do that because if they cannot even stop corruption mhow can bitcoin be?Each governments has been fighting corruption for long time but yet theres always here.

But if this happens surely bitcoin will collapse in face of the legalization then after the illegal adoption will happen ,if they cant stop drugs in physical form, then what more bitcoin in virtual ?

Hey there’s no way government can be the death knell of bitcoins, as they cannot stop people from using bitcoins, at max they can ban it but people will always find ways to use it. If you’re not aware now governments are taxing bitcoins, and some have even made it a legal currency to earn more revenues from it. In many USA states you can pay off your taxes in crypto’s, which shows that government is going to adopt crypto’s not kill it.
6335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 08, 2019, 11:33:49 AM

Seriously...?  Not Juve?  The 'Ronaldo factor' comes into play at big matches like these.  I think he could even carry Juve to the finals.  To the trophy even.

Def LFC.

...  And rooting for Man United to go thru.  Grin  I made a stupid bet on them to win the whole thing.  Cheesy

Hey Juventus is the favourites to lift the cup, however I feel they’ll face stiff competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona. Also as you mentioned the Ronaldo factor, definitely comes into play as he always steps up in big matches. Even I’m rooting for Manchester United to beat Psg, I do hope they can script history by winning the cup.
6336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 08, 2019, 07:49:00 AM
India vs NZ woman had T20 match today and battng first India made 135/6 . India bowled well to contain NZ and in last over required 9 runs. First ball went for four and second ball NZ lost wicket and in the end NZ wanted 1 run on last ball to win the match. Finally they got single and won the match. It was really an exciting to watch this last ball finish.

The females match between India and New Zealand had a nail biting finish, all credit goes to the New Zealand team for holding their nerves and winning it in the last ball. I felt team India’s batting disappointed me, but they made it up in ther bowling department but just felt short of a victory. It’ll be interesting if their male counterparts can succeed and beat New Zealand, but for me New Zealand are the favourites to win this match.
6337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 08, 2019, 03:13:43 AM
^^ Hehehe.

I didn't read the article but I don't know how Anna K. influence tennis in a positive way? Well she burst into the scene and everybody loves her because she has the talent. But maybe when she realise that she can make more money without exerting any effort by just go modelling, then her talents started to went from good to worst and thats it. We never heard anything from her ever since.

I read the article a clever way to make the article go viral using controversy, it’s a common strategy used these days. I had even forgotten her name till I read the article, while she definitely didn’t influence the sport she has won a doubles tournament. I won’t condem her for her choice, if I remember right in those days she was getting quiet a lot of attention so getting into modeling was a logical choice.
6338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 07, 2019, 05:44:40 PM

Well if the teams do not have consistency then it's always hard to predict. That does not define quality though. I guess except the top team (Juventus) others does not have much consistency.

Juventus has consistently been winning matches, it’s due to the depth in their squad, no other team comes close to the squad like Juventus has. Also in this league there’s lot of unpredictability as many times small teams causes big upsets, hence one needs to do lots of research before placing a bet. I  had mixed results when I placed bets in the past, hence now I avoid placing big bets on the league matches.
6339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 cricket prediction and discussion on: February 07, 2019, 02:00:34 PM
Pakistan won by 27 runs against South Africa today in the last T20 match of the 3-match series.

Summary of Pakistan's tour to South Africa:

-Test series = South Africa won by 3-0

-ODI series = South Africa won by 3-2

-T20I series = South Africa won by 2-1

These results are not surprising considering that Pakistan batting line up has been on the decline for quite a while now, their only strength is their bowling. I have to be honest never expected Africa to do so well, considering their team is going though a transitional phase. Now we’re only few days away from Indian Premier League, i feel it’s a gambler paradise as it’s easy to earn money by playing on the matches there.
6340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 07, 2019, 11:28:35 AM
Yes it seems Hamsik is actually leaving. Reports yesterday suggested that he would be flying for Madrid to carry out medical examinations. After that it is expected that he will sign a 3 year contract with Dalian Yifang.

https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/hamsik-says-last-goodbyes-to-napoli-medical-tests-scheduled-42077

The transfer of Hamsik has been suspended due to payment differences, and he even skipped training which I feel is a bad decision on his part as he’ll be fined for that. I believe many players are now looking to play in the Chinese league due to higher salaries, but they’ll be forgotten by fans as it’s not a popular league. Also it seems Hazard may not leave Chelsea as Madrid want Neymar, thoughts on this?.
