6321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Many Airdrops. on: December 01, 2017, 06:16:40 AM
They so many airdrops to sign up for and I don't know what to look out for as a newbie. Kinda lost. Direction needed here. Kindly recommend airdrops and bounties that you feel are geniue. Thanks
Airdrops are time wasting ventures although as a newbie you will be very eager to earn btc as soon as possible but consider the fact that some of this airdrops are scam it is just like working with faucets more effort with little reward, work harder in this forum by posting quality posts you will get promoted to higher ranks then you will earn btc.
6322  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 01, 2017, 05:02:02 AM
The global rising of bitcoin communities is a welcome development considering the fact that bitcoin needs a larger population holders so as to able to control and stabilize it's price the wider the holder the better it's stability.
More so, bitcoin being a virtual currency that has been helping to redistributes wealth has endear more people, services or jobs are offered online and bitcoin had facilitates easier payment without any third parties involved unlike other payment systems.
6323  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: November 30, 2017, 07:46:56 PM
For now the volatility of bitcoin is uncontrollable due to the fact that there are few holders but can only be controlled by wider adoption by the people, as the numbers of people buying and holding it increases the volume also increases hence price stability will be attained at equilibrium.
6324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go Down on: November 30, 2017, 06:24:43 PM
After the top there always a down...is it only a natural assetment of market or someone control this market and try  to cut off the new investitor of last period?
It quite as expected for the price of bitcoin to pullback after forming a new highest high although the volatility and momentum has decrease a bit this is as result of many holders capitalizing on the price hike and quickly sold off or dump some coins which resulted in dip pullback nevertheless the price will bounce back and push upward to $15,000 before the year runs out because presently there is massive buying in the market.
6325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO DOOMS DAY? on: November 30, 2017, 04:13:12 PM
Someone is manipulating the market, few days back BTC bullrun i think investors put their money on that day
Yesterday BTC/USD + ALT/USD exchanges pumps, clear they converted the BTC to USD

Today all the coins are bleeding only 4/200 has price increase

is this the end of the crypto?

Nobody is manipulating the market, it is a normal occurrence that happens once in a while yesterday there was a massive bullish trend on the price of bitvoin while other altcoins drop in price a good trader will sell off some bitcoin at that moment before the drop making tremendous profits while at same time buys some promising altcoins, presently the price of bitcoin had drop triggering buying sentiment it is time to buy again and hodl.
6326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop buying Bitcoin! on: November 30, 2017, 09:01:37 AM
You guys should stop buying Bitcoin - how am I going to fatten my wallet if the price keeps rocketing up?

What are we going to do when the Satoshi achieves parity with the dollar? Smiley
Going by the skyrocketing price of bitcoin, I agreed with you it is getting very difficult in buying bitcoin, the price hits $11,000 a few days ago and It is always advisable to buy in dip or retracement but in recent times the retracement or pullback is usually small presently it has pullback to $10200 which is absolutely high for buyers, honestly it is getting harder to buy as most investors kept on holding their coin.
6327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: tonight is the correction on: November 29, 2017, 08:08:42 PM
the correction is coming , back to 8k?
Definitely correction had already started the price is heading towards $9K of course 'what goes up must come down'  after the pullback we should expect the price to hit $15K before the year runs out all these are normal occurrence in trading.
6328  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN milestone 10000$. Continue to rise or not??? on: November 29, 2017, 05:32:35 PM
BTC BITCOIN milestone 10000$.  Continue to rise or not???
It is very obvious that bitcoin will reach $10,000 as soon as possible going by the recent price volatility and momentum it could be recalled that four months ago the price was around $4500 since then the  price  been leapfrogging upward which means the price can easily be predicted and the possibility of the price reaching $15000 before the year runs out is realistic.
6329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Bitcoin will reach $15,000 before 2017 ends? on: November 29, 2017, 05:09:35 PM
There is the tendency of bitcoin reaching that price trademark of $15,000 going by the price volatility and momentum presently it has surpassed $11000 and still hovering around in range and going by speculations by analyst it is possible a new highest high of bitcoin will be set up before the year runs out.
6330  Economy / Speculation / Re: is that bitcoin price will crash after $ 10K? on: November 28, 2017, 06:58:06 PM
Why some people telling that bitcoin price will crash after hitting $10000?.
I don't think it will happen.
How about you guys do you think the price will crash or continue to rise.?
It normal for price of bitcoin to experience pullback at $10,000 a big resistance and big round number many holders will sell off or dump the coin which will invariably result to price correction but I believe the price pullback will not go beyond $9000 before heading upward to break the $10K resistance this is price action.
6331  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 04:21:50 PM
Bitcoin creates a lot of opportunities but the only problem is that there is no regulatory body to control it's ecosystem.
In my country the banks are contemplating of legalizing it although the government is unconcerned about it, legalizing it could somehow pose a threat to the banking system as result of it's decentralization. The government had a set up a committee through the central bank to study the proposed legalizing of bitcoin.
6332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: November 27, 2017, 09:07:40 AM
Only yesterday's television shows here in our country could be a bad thing when you get involved with bitcoins. I'm so frustrated that the tv host has shown that bitcoins are a scam. Because of the fact that he has made many people will definitely not try to enter the bitcoins yet. And because that would be like an investment scheme that looks at bitcoins. That's not really true because bitcoins used to do bad things. And what I was most disappointed was that this tv host did not say the good side of bitcoins.

Now my question is how we can explain to those who watch tv that bitcoins is not a pyramiding scheme.
Yes, the media has a major role in propagation and information dissemination about bitcoin of course in your country the TV stations is being controlled by the government that does not support or adopt bitcoin, such a government will use any available means to discourage the use of bitcoin and can even classify bitcoin as a scam to discourage it's use by your fellow citizens and this is setback for bitcoin.
6333  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL, HODL you %$@#$ on: November 26, 2017, 11:23:30 AM
So, it's going to get hard, now obviously but don't get got. Bitcoin IS going to go well over 500,000$ and honestly it might always be a bad choice during the duration of you lifetimes to ever convert your bitcoins back to clamshells, fiat or whatever your country offers. Don't do that.

HODL!

Smiley It's ALWAYS been a bad choice to sell bitcoin (in the history of Bitcoin) and it always will be. I truly want what's best for you loyal bitcointalk'ers and that's keeping your Bitcoin.
Yes it is not everybody desire to exchange bitcoin to fiat but to hodl it is due to financial circumstances beyond one's control at times warrant such a decision, particularly we third world countries where there is high rate of unemployment, I have no regret to exchange BTC to fiat because I have so many bills to settle considering the fact that our monthly salaries is less than $200.
6334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries Banning Crypto Currencies on: November 26, 2017, 07:42:52 AM
Unfortunately, many counties have banned and will be banning the use of crypto currency.

So far, these countries have banned crypto:
Vietnam
Bolivia
Ecuador
Kyrgyzstan
Bangladesh
Nepal

These countries however do not have a major influence on crypto as they are third world countries and most investors/influences come from the West/China.

Do you guys think as it becomes more of a reality that crypto is the future of currencies, more countries will ban the use due to fear of losing control? Do you think as it becomes the normal form of currency, these countries will lift the ban?

What do you think?
Using Zimbabwe as a case study as a third world country when their economy collapsed they resorted to bitcoin as their main source of foreign exchange.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2361281.0
I believed most of these countries that has ban bitcoin will lift the ban when their economic policies is being reviewed again because bitcoin has really redefines monetary transfer from one country to another invariably opening up payment of services offered by individuals in those countries.
6335  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: In the beginning days when people were mining with CPU on: November 26, 2017, 06:44:41 AM
In the days of mining bitcoin with CPUs the price of bitcoin was worthless, absolutely the price of bitcoin was very low and then mining of bitcoin with CPUs started as an experiment using it as an technological breakthrough with little or no profit considering the cost of electricity consumed, I believed with the invention of GPUs there was a massive turnaround in mining of bitcoin.
6336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up to 8.6K? on: November 26, 2017, 05:54:55 AM
The price of bitcoin is presently hitting $8900+ this is expected as usual because the price had been  ranging  between $8200 to $8400 for many days and may be due to a fundamentals( maybe due to hardfork) the price broke out from that range and shoots upward  forming a new highest high this is signal to the possibility of the price reaching $10,000 before the end of 2018.
6337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Bitcoin Core smear campaign on reddit's r/btc on: November 26, 2017, 03:26:20 AM
I thinks some individuals have hidden agenda and   wants to promote or upgrade BCH at all cost and undermine bitcoin which is absolutely unrealistic, bitcoin has come to stay and any conspiracy to downgrade it will fail,  you should have ignore there advise on BCH in /r/ BTC subreddit  Iam also member of that reddit I just read people's comments  without taking any action on suggestions made in the forum.
6338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help! Faucets Are Wasting My Time. I Need Better Ways To Earn Bitcoins Asap on: November 25, 2017, 05:39:22 AM

6339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty campaigns for Newbies? on: November 24, 2017, 06:15:51 PM

you need to  be very patient you will get there thereafter you will have so many options to choose from e.g signature campaigns, bounties campaigns and airdrop.
6340  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your goals in 2018? on: November 24, 2017, 02:59:40 PM
Hello guys,

Currently many people buy and hold crypto currencies for many reasons.

It will be interesting to share your goals in 2018.

Mine would be to make 20,000$ profit then I would take back my initial investment plus half of the profit. The remaining half will be used for re-investment.

How's about your goal and plan?

In 2018 my goal is to become a full time trader by God grace I will also try to hodl all my coins particularly bitcoin as much as possible because going  by the speculations bitcoin will kept on raising till $20,000  and I don't want to regret of not holding my coin when the price must have skyrocketed to a new highest high going the volatility and the momentum of bitcoin.
