The number of companies and institutions owning BTC will get larger and larger and the number of people holding a nice amount of BTC will get smaller and smaller.
In other words do not give everything to the big whales and try to remain in this select club because once you do it you may not be able to take them back. You may think you can but most probably you won't.
And that's what HODLing really means for average investor today, as the demand grows because of institutions and big companies vying for bitcoin as well and with their huge capital, we are going to get the short end of the bargain. So we should really think about selling our bitcoin today, unless it is really important. The last BTC will be mined in 2140. This coin is here to stay for you and your kids and your grandsons. Don't get too emotional by the price fluctuations, don't have weak hands and never get greedy  We don't have to wait that long because we all know that we will not see that day. Yeah, impressive to see a $1 trillion market cap, but anything can happen though, we can lose it overnight or gain another billion the next day. 2017 the whole crypto market cap is $1 trillion if I'm not mistaken and it goes kaput in the next 2-3 years of bearish market, and now now recovered and goes on even more. We are in super fast rally starting last quarter of 2020 and continue up to this time so the future looks bring for bitcoin. Good to go back to those old days here and how everything really started and we wish we're here to witnessed the birth of bitcoin. Even in twitter, there are a lot of people posting their early experience in buying and then selling it because they didn't know how big it's gonna be 10 years later. The question is if we did discover bitcoin early, are we also going to sell and take profits? However, it's good to see that big mental barrier of $50k has been broken, and I think this is just the beginning as I have said before. It's going to be interesting how this year will go through, $60k-$100k might be surpassed in the future. And definitely, this bull run will not end just because $50k is broken, but simply we have established that anything can happen and that the price. Sure re-tracement will happen, but we are going to push for new all time highs.
$50,000 could transform in a very strong support if Bitcoin can keep above the level for a while. People need to get familiar with these price points although the ones who are driving this market up are institutional investors who likely have much more experience. However psychology still applies for them. We are all humans (I think lol) so we are all susceptible to emotions. The difference is some of us learn to control them and some of us not. Agree, and now that the barrier has been breach again, the resistance is now the strong support for bitcoin as we have surpassed it again and moves forward to $51k. Yes, psychology will still a big part for this institutions and big companies, but I doubt that they will simply dump at $50k. They are more experience and more are in the line for them, and dumping would just hurt their investments. Most likely if they are going to dump are at least make money, it could be in the $100k or more price. Some learn through experience (specially those like me who entered in 2017), but there could be beginners who will likely go on a cycle (boom and bust) to get that mental toughness. |

Paunti unti at umaangat ang mga coin at namemaintain ang kanilang nga market price value. Nakadagdag pa dito ang mga investment ng mga whales. Sa totoo lang medyo malaki laki yung regret ko dahil trinade ko agad yung mga altcoins ko na hawak, then biglang nag bullish ang crypto market. Sayang din lalo na yung doge, medyo marami rami akong hawak nun pero binenta ko lang kagaad. So far the "rally" has continued as long as there is no bubble to burst. It stops when we enter a big bubble which bursts fast and the market enters the bear trend for at least a year.
Considering the fact that we are not in a bubble now and far from it, we can safely conclude that the rally will continue for the foreseeable future. This trend can last until the end of this year at the very least.
Agree, until there is no bubble to be burst, then this bull run will continue and I'm thinking that a bubble could form once we reach at least six digit as this price could be the big mental price that everyone is waiting for. The whole hype of the "institutional investors" thing is just another reason people use to justify the rise for themselves just like when they come up with slightly irrelevant reasons to justify the small to big corrections or the bear market itself.
Perhaps this are people who wanted to see the price going down so that they can enter the market again at a cheap price so they preach that $50k is the mental barrier that we can't break and if ever we broke it, bearish sentiments will take over. |
