6341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: April 26, 2016, 07:38:57 AM
Hello Everyone,
1. I just joined the ICO and purchased my first WAVES, will I receive them after launch?
2. Also I entered twitter, fb and subscription bounty, so do I need to send any info regarding those?
3. I also want to open a 2nd Wave ACCOUNT and buy there to back my own currency as separate from my personal buys.
4. Can I keep logging in and buying WAVES as I get more and more btc to spend? I want to increase my stash, thanks.
5. Where do i get my WAVE address/ I want to try the faucet out as well. Smiley
1 yes
2 will be able to enter your info on the site eventually
3 use another email address
4 yes you can
5 can't get waves address until it's launched

Thank you so much, looking forward to this as a long term hold and project and will be introducing WAVES to further investors Smiley
This project looks pretty exciting to me.

6343  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2016, 07:01:02 AM
I think a good way to motivate women to use Bitcoin would be to make advertising that is attractive to women and to get many women to advertise it and pay them for doing so. Women love advertising and are more likely to use a product or service after it has been widely advertised.
6344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - A New Form of Money on: April 26, 2016, 06:59:04 AM
Bitcoin can be considered money in many respects. It can easily be divided, it can be a store of wealth, it can be used for transactions, so in effect, I believe it can be classed as money. In real terms it will be classed as money if it's value goes up steadily over time, so we really need another 50-100 years to determine 100% if it can be classed as money. That is my own thought on this.
6345  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: April 26, 2016, 06:55:03 AM
I believe for long term holders, anytime is a good time to buy but I think for a few more months before the peak it's still a good time to get in. I don't know though when the peak will be, or what the peak will be and that depends on  how many are entering the market and how many are speculating on it only for a quick buck.
6346  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: April 26, 2016, 06:51:52 AM
Two things can happen here, either people start selling off a load of bitcoin before the halving to crash the price so they can accumulate more or it will rise until the halving then retract to create a new floor at around 600-800 USD. I do hope it is the latter case of course.
6347  Economy / Economics / Re: What is some of the best crypto technology to invest in on: April 26, 2016, 06:49:40 AM
I would find 2 or three good altcoins to trade but you need really to be a good trader to profit fro altcoins. Also many new coins that come out have some free promo offers to collect free coins which eventually you can sell off to buy bitcoin, that doesn't cost anything except your time.
6348  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 26, 2016, 06:46:49 AM
I think to become rich we all need to become more savvy investors and very disciplined and in the beginning not spend any money willy-nilly and on useless things. All rich people become rich because they compound their earnings, month in, month out until they make the money work for them. So having said this, we need to develop strategies of discipline and resilience and a good plan to accumulate wealth.
6349  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: April 26, 2016, 06:44:28 AM
If you have services to offer then going onto fiverr dot com and offering your services in bitcoin could be a good idea to make some extra bitcoin. I am thinking of starting a profile there and as I have nearly 5k friends on facebook, am thinking of offering a liking and commenting and sharing service as many companies want to boost their profiles on social media, so why not get paid for doing that? That's just an idea.
6350  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 26, 2016, 06:42:07 AM
I also agree with many that now is not the time to invest in bitcoin projects but to mainly invest and hold bitcoin itself. Once the new floor is determined and established again after the halving and trading has resumed a more sideways transition, then it may be a good time to think of diversifying in bitcoin investing.
6351  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: April 26, 2016, 06:39:52 AM
I would like it to reach a new floor of at least 700-800 USD after the halving. Say it rose to around 1100 USD then it fell again and settled to around 700-800 who wouldn't be happy with that? I believe it would be a good price and worth it.
6352  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: April 26, 2016, 06:37:43 AM
I believe now is a good time as any to get some bitcoin. If you can afford it go for it. I will try to actually buy some now and really feel sad that I didn't have enough funds to buy when it was sitting at 200-250 usd. I would have almost doubled my money now. Yes the price is quite high but I am sure it could rise to around 700-800 once halving kicks in but then many who bought at 250-300 will want to sell and make a fast profit.
6353  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2016, 06:34:27 AM
The bitcoin price is rising steadily at the moment, now if there isn't a mass dump and the p[rice rise reflects the supply going down, then the miners also will benefit from the rising prices. Even though they will be mining less bitcoin if the price creates a new floor at around 800 usd for one bitcoin then it is profitable for the miners, especially the smaller miners that is.
6354  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 26, 2016, 06:30:26 AM
I believe that people around the world are waking up to the fact that fiat currency is a losing battle by way of investment so they are hedging by also buying bitcoin to hoard against inflation and maybe for their pension portfolios as well.

6356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enormous ways to earning Bitcoin on: April 24, 2016, 01:19:58 PM
Blogging maybe a good way to generate bitcoin by putting bitcoin sites on your blog. I really need to rev up my bitcoin stash and blogging again. You could also blog for coins and then convert to bitcoin too if you find peeps who will give you work like this and readers for your blog.
6357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan is starting to love bitcoin again... on: April 24, 2016, 12:33:42 PM
It's great to see more and more Japanese involved in Bitcoin. As Japan is a high tech country I am not surprised that Bitcoin is attractive. JAPAN is all about things Geeky so I would not expect anything less. Wink
6358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: April 24, 2016, 09:00:16 AM
I would stake my cash on it as fiat money is more risky nowadays to hold than anything else as it get devalued year in, year out as they keep going to the printing presses and printing a whole load more of it..
6359  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 24, 2016, 08:58:40 AM
I would invest some of it in bitcoin startups and hold the rest for long term appreciation. I look at bitcoin more of a pension plan than a quick pump and dump but that's just me. Of course if I had a few k i would maybe buy some and sell some after the halving but I don't have that kind of disposable income.
6360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving on: April 24, 2016, 08:55:59 AM
Right now demand is keeping up with the supply. Hence the stability.
Resolve the block issue and the demand will be greater than the current supply.
Cut the supply in half and the demand will be far greater than the supply.
Face reality that there are not that many Bitcoin left to enter circulation, and demand will skyrocket.

This might be a good scenario. I am wondering if it's a good time to buy a bitcoin or two and sit on it and see what happens over the coming months. I would love to get my hands on a couple I guess.
