With China now owing about 75% of the mining power i think in all their greed they will destroy bitcoin.
They will never allow the protocol to change to accept larger blocks since it's not in their interest.

When they have 75% of bitcoin mining power,why would they allow bitcoin to be destroyed?I think there must be a difference of opinions within Chinese mining community and some of them will try and persue for larger blocks More mining farms are there in China which is never known in most of the countries, it's their wealth to have all these bitcoin resources in their country, so definitely they won't destroy bitcoin in anyway as they are earning more from it . |

If all people use bitcoin , bitcoin value will got increase since demand also got increase as bitcoin total amount only have limited amount.
Ofcourse this will happen on the future since many company start using bitcoin for their transaction
Exactly if bitcoin usage becomes more the demand automatically increases, the user adaption fact is that if price goes very high the users will probably be attracted on good range towards bitcoin. |

The truth is that there is no truth. We all here are guessing, hoping, wishing. The one who says to try to be realistic with a forecast could be completely wrong and the other who was called a dreamer and weirdo could be damn right. That's the beauty of Bitcoin! The price is now indeed rising slowly but it is not rising that fast it needs time to rise otherwise it will be not possible for the currency to have a high profit later.
So we need the patience for it and you also dont even know what can happen later in the future.
I hope everything will be fair in future, the price is rising in a decent manner at the first week of May we can expect the price to be $500 and within two months we can see exponential growth and can earn big amounts during halving. |

Buy and generate, do you mean lending your coins as example? Holding will be now the best option that you can do around this time because the value will be high soon and that would be perfect for the people that is using Bitcoin. The only thing that can be bad is that you must wait a long time until the value will be more so that can bad because not everyone has the patience for it. Yeah it is right to hold the coins till price rise, if you choose to trade you may have to lose your coins and at the time of halving when price rises you will be lot worried, so it is better to hold rather than to trade. |

If you wana rich and also using the bitcoins, so should use the halving, i don't understand why you don't like halving, you can see the price of bitcoins is increasing everyday because of halving is coming after 2 months, but when halving will close than the price of bitcoins will be down. so it all depend on use how we use our bitcoins and get profit.

Just dont sell your bitcoin now, It is better to save now or buy now many bitcoins and sell it in thr future when bitcoin is higher or highest than possible
Yeah thats very good idea to not sell it because price is rising daily as we can see now the bitcoin is Now in good track and running upward to the highest price and i think this is and effect of halving and price rising. Day by day As you can see right now so bEtter not to sell it and save it b y that you hcan earn big big money and the key of that is patience and you need to wait. The bitcoin price does not and will not rise daily. But if it rise 5-8% monthly, that is already very good. With Bitcoin you can make more Bitcoin wich can lead to more money. You are able to pay with Bitcoin at some online websites this gives Bitcoin another point. Also you can transfer Bitcoin to someone else very easy and fast.
How can you make more Bitcoin with Bitcoin? You can also earn more fiat using fiat (interest in a bank). You don't have that option with Bitcoin. That is a hell of the word "bitcoin" Used too much I think, although we are here at this forum about that currency we should be speaking clearly with our own opinion.  Bitcoin is much better now than cash because it is also much safer and that is because you cant be robbed on the street so that is also much better but maybe you can promote it also more. And that would be perfect but you never know what is going to happen with the value of Bitcoin. That is also a great idea to promote it. Maybe make a slogan out if that. "In bitcoin robbery is not an option" something like that. Now hackers will be your problem after that. Yeah, it's amazing that Bitcoin is over $460 already and I believe it's not a bulb at all. In November 2015 I predicted that Bitcoin will be over $500 by Summer 2016 and it seems that prediction was not far from the reality we have now. Do not sell now guys, wait till it hits $510 at least.

im sure many of you are starting depositing like me. but is there any possibilty that the price will decrease?? There is a possibility that the value will decrease, but that would be a correction (as mentioned in the speculation subsection) and would just require holding a bit longer to get your investment back, and then make a profit, assuming it starts moving back in an upwards direction again. I don't think that bitcoin suffer from decrease in value, to my assumption bitcoin halving is real it will be more advantage to its users and brings well defined benefits. |

I recently joined a signature campaign and I still do faucets on the side. I'm not yet making that much in terms of earnings, but this is a good start. I also buy and hold some bitcoin and will wait for further price movements to decide whether I'll hold still or sell at a higher price.
That's a good start, never just rely in one way of earning...That way, even if one of your ways fail, then you could continue with your other ways...Keep on holding your coins, for sure you will earn from it, but never avoid using it when you need money for emergencies and basic needs.. I earn through signature campaign as it provides me a decent amount as profit, I don't prefer any investments , I was lot feared as trading and gambling first provides profits and then tends to lose coins. I hold my coins that I have and get good amounts during halving. |

You can set up a small mining farm for that amount if you have some space available.Remember every investment involves risk so there is no way your investment is guarantee to double To my sense $100k is a very huge amount, the only way to double this amount is investing in any of the methods but it is not guaranteed that it would be safe, more risks are there in investments, so think twice and make wise decision. |

That is right. I think the bitcoin price will at least double after the halving. The halving will reduce the supply of new coins. What you have mentioned is right, but halving seems to be a catalyst which just boosts the growth of bitcoin. At the same when the catalysts effect goes off automatically the price falls and stabilizes around a value between the starting point of growth and the peak. When halving comes, people will think the supply of bitcoin will reduce, and it will become more valuable. Bitcoin depends fully upon the supply and demand, halving gives good effect on bitcoin price, definitely the halving reduce the supply of new coins, overall halving makes the bitcoin precious. |

What you guys think about Bitcoin's price after 3 months I mean on April 2016.
Please let me know your speculation about this.
We are in the middle of the April and the price is somewhere around ~$430 but i think bitcoin has more potential and i hope $440 -$450 by the end of this month. I also see that by the end of April we will be at around 450 and in the next month the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reach the halving. Today is almost 3 months from the OP. The price is around $469. So it is quite good achievement for the period. Within 3 months we can see a great increase in price, now the price has grown to a decent level and we can expect the awesome price rise to be $800 to $900 after three months. |

it is very possible. bitcoin now stands at 470USD. next week may bitcoin moves between 500USD-550USD. and halving the time arrived bitcoin is above 700USD. bitcoin still has great prospects to increase.
I don't see any good scenarios that can move the price to $550 next week. It will just stabilize around $500. There are still dumpers set their price of sell at the range of around $500 so it will be tough to move on if the target is the whole next week. It will happen very soon, all possibilities are there for the price to increase $550 the next week and I suggest that it won't hover around the same value, as halving is too near the price will increase to $700 sudden and even more values after halving. |

or it will never happen, bitcoin price won't hit $10000 ever, who knows. there is not a 'never' option in the poll so people can't choose it. no one expect it here but to be fair it probably happens. One can't say that it won't hit $10k ever, as the future of bitcoin is unpredictable anything can happen in future, if more users join this forum this can be achieved but what, it take some long days. well, this is a poll, it should cover all the capabilities that can happen, because, as you said, future of bitcoin is unpredictable, anything can happen in future. maybe someday $ will dissappear and can never be compare to bitcoin anymore  Anything will happen with bitcoin as future is unpredictable in bitcoin but dollar will never disappear. The bitcoin price is going to a higher amount and I'm very sure it will go to a higher amount this year, the bitcoin will go to the 500 dollar for sure, I really have no doubts about that to be honest.
The bitcoin has a very good future and its also is almost at the 500 dollar its now around the 450 if I'm right.
The price will only reach maybe in December that value and that can be nice indeed for the people who already have some Bitcoin because they all want to make some profit. But you need also some patience for it otherwise it would be not possible for you. The price could break the $480 level in the next few weeks, then it will hovering around there for some time. the movement of price has been so good lately and it might continue up this way too so $480 may be here in no time by the end of this week even. there is nothing stopping it either, bitcoin has been ready for the rise for so long and now it is time to see the rise in action. I believe that price won't stagger hereafter, just continue growing and within few days it will reach $500 and soon after that during halving it will hit peaks leaving good profits for its users. |

There are only 4 days left. There's still 40$ left to increase. I don't think BTC price will go up 10$ a day. But still, there's a chance that this thing happens.
why do you think $10 rise per day is something difficult to happen ? those $40 or less can be achieved in even one day as the market nowadays has a clear up trend. maybe it will not be at 1st May. but it is very soon to reach $500 Yeah it may reach very soon as price has started increasing, four days are there, so price can reach $500 at first of May as of halving, or if it does not happen surely we can expect to be within mid of May. |

I still believe in bitcoin since there are lot of things that I have done using this. So, i will not stop using it since it gives me happiness and contentment. I am using it to buy what I want and need in real life that is why I believe in bitcoin.

Yeah it will be a good advertisement for bitcoin, not only toys we can design more items related to bitcoin such as keychain, rings, chain dollars etc, so that unknown people come to know what is bitcoin. |
