6341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you invest in Mining Company IEO? on: August 01, 2019, 10:21:17 AM
Maybe alot of people will participate for the quick profits if you have good Tokenomics, dividend plans and strong partners. Asides that, no one really gives into mining platforms anymore as anyone can now easily set up a small mining rig to suit its cost plan
It's not about the setting up but it's the bad experience that most of the investors had with these mining companies. They have been scattered and known as scams for the past years and that's why it's better to stay away from them.
There would be investors that will stick to them but that is one possible reason why many are starting to lose their trust to mining companies that will conduct IEOs.

6343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 31, 2019, 11:40:10 PM
How much money does Floyd want to fight Pacman again? hehehe. Everyone has a price, I remember when he was all bark when Canelo sign a $300 m with DAZN, That's the way he wanted to stay relevant. So if ever he was offered a one fight deal with Pacman with $300 m or more, I'm sure he will bite, Lol.
I've seen a stat on how much Manny Pacquiao earned during their fight with Floyd and it's a staggering $120-million. And with that fight, Floyd got a higher share because it's part of their deal. I don't know on how much he'd love to ask for the share if ever this fight will ever happen again. But that's for sure, he'll ask for a higher share again than Manny. He will not be called 'Money' if he's going to allow his opponent get a higher share than him.
6344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Elixxir offer privacy at scale? on: July 31, 2019, 11:07:33 PM
I've read their whitepaper and it looks promising. Now in the waiting game
I find it interesting because David Chaum is part of the project and not only a part of it but the leader of this project. They looking serious with this project and hiring more people like a typical business that we used to know.
More details are on their website: www.elixxir.io

Did you read his latest blog on their website? I found it super interesting his involvement in privacy and legislation since 1995! yet the conversation on this topic is still relevant and ongoing https://elixxir.io/blog/privacy-preserving-technology-vs-legislation
Not yet and because you have given it, I've heard the first few parts of it. I can now understand why these hearings are good for the industry. They are recognizing that cryptocurrency and blockchain industry is something big that they can't just ignore anymore. There's more to go for this and elixxir is going to be part of it. David Chaum sure is a realistic guy and has been working all of these years for this kind of innovation. Thanks for bringing this up.
6345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: July 31, 2019, 10:36:22 PM
The year hasn't ended yet so I don't want to create a conclusion while we're dealing with for this year. As for last year, well we can have that conclusion that it isn't really a profitable year. 2018 has been so hard for everyone and most of the projects didn't find its success. However, for this year, I can see that some projects are good looking and was saved due to another kind of investment which is the IEO. Some might be profitable for this year.

Though I agree that last year was hard for crypto investors, bounty hunters and for all. But the first half of 2018 was amazing. Bounty hunters earned huge money from the January month to August. We had Credits Blockchain, Shivom, Counting House, Essensia, XYO Network, Pundix and many more big paying bounty campaigns. If I compare between 2018 and 2019, then 2018 is still the winner here. But some people started to believe that bounty hunting is not worthy anymore after the crypto market collapsed in Q3 of 2018. But the truth is, good projects are paying bounty hunters very well.
I've heard about PundiX but the rest that you mentioned I haven't. Good projects yeah are paying but the 2018 has been hard because of the rapid existence of scam projects and if they also had a bounty, it's also turning into the same way. That's why many have considered that 2018 has been so hard to most ICO investors and to bounty hunters because of that experience. But for this year, we don't know what the future looks like but it's looking good.
6346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ICO or IEO but IEO run by not good exchanges. on: July 31, 2019, 10:05:37 PM
The choices you have brought up has some circumstances, mostly will invest to an IEO now because they've just heard that it will generate profit and the ICO days are now over. So despite on how good the ICO would be, many will start to avoid investing on it because of that belief for this year. The ICO has been taken over by IEOs and investors wouldn't even have a second thought on where they will invest. As long as that is an IEO and there's an exchange to dump it, they'll invest.
6347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 31, 2019, 09:33:09 PM

It's not over, teams doesn't appreciate his individual skills inside the ring and he was lack of exposure during the finals. First time to see an NBA player cry infront of camera because of his situation on how he's depressed and thinks that the league has given him up. And recently getting the championship is just sadder because of the lack of appreciation for him. This man should start making up himself and building a better Lin.
I'm sure we'll see him comeback.

How will it not be over if they keep of NOT giving him any minutes.
He cannot showcase anything if the management itself is not putting him in the floor.
Now, the problem becomes larger. He doesnt have a team.
Should he go to D League for now to beat the hell out of those players there just for the remaining years of his career?
There could be some reasons why the management or the coaching staff didn't gave him that much time. It's likely that he doesn't have confidence with them. About his career, with what I've heard he's going back to China and will play for a team there right? Don't know the full details or that's just a rumor. He understands that he can't force himself anymore on NBA and I think this will also lead to some other chinese players not to take chance anymore on the league if ever they will be asked to come and join.

6349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can't blame crypto and blockchain technology on: July 30, 2019, 11:26:46 PM
Scammers and hackers are evolving too. They are studying and understanding the technology that lies with the trend. Those hypocrites keeps on saying that scams, hacks and frauds are increasing in crypto but they don't acknowledge on how big these incidents are happening in actual world involving the banks. We can't deny that these things really happened in crypto because it's a fact but criticizing crypto like that and keeps quiet on how these things occur in real world through the entire bank system is bias.
6350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 30, 2019, 10:49:28 PM

Feel sad for Jeremy Lin. He really feels down that no one is showing interest for him. He literally cried while delivering a statement about NBA giving up on him in front of a large audience. Even coming out on a championship, Lin doesn't feel his championship ring since he thinks he didn't deserve it.

And that became the saddest part of NBA right now. You have a ring, but doesnt have a salary for a year? Worse, you love playing the game but no one is trying to give you minutes again to showcase your skills.

Just dont know why an explosive guy like Jeremy Lin will be benched like that.
He can do "no look" pass and shoot with a high percentage. Can also penetrate the paint. Just what the hell is the reason behind the sudden dip of this guy.

He is just 30 and they say his being "Linsanity" is over. Urgh!

I'm interested to know on what's the coin where Libra's whitepaper has been copied. They are struggling because the government is stopping them and already invited them to the senate.
I don't like Libra as much as possible but this could just another stunt to get the mass' attention.

There have been the same niche before on ICOs so I can't see the difference of it from being launched through an IEO.
The difference would be that it's just an IEO and there will be an exchange that's going to list it after its sale.
6354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 30, 2019, 07:17:18 PM
May is not a billionaire, at least in dollars, I saw a youtube video about the richest boxer in sports, and Manny was only rank no. 3 with 200 million usd net worth. I don't know if that data is reliable but I could believe he is not that rich. He can own  PBA team but not an NBA team.
I think he can qualify to as a stake holder though i don't know what's the amount to become one but i think 200 million USD is more than enough for a stake.
For stake I think that's reliable estimate. A result came out on google about this related topic, the other amounts were outdated but at least we have an idea with the figures and how costly it is to own a team.
https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-it-cost-to-buy-an-NBA-basketball-team
So every team has different rate, and I think even at the lowest valued team, Manny can't afford at the moment, unless he will put all his money in the NBA. Buying a low valued team is a good investment if the team would improve in the long run as it will also increase it's value, also the location is one big factor as well, and the popularity of the team which it has build from the past is important.

I'm just curious now on what will happen to the Cavaliers, they were so popular when Lebron was with them but now they are losing fans and there was one time that they were selling tickets at a very low price already.
Yes, they don't have the same rates and they are like products. I agree that investing to low valued is possible for him but it still needs a lot of investment to go along and make the team work out only if he's looking into returns quickly. This is a big investment for him or else he's just enjoying his money and wants to fulfill one of his dream of owning an NBA team. With the Cavs, they'll remain as Cavs and they'll still continue whether their fans leave them because of LBJ.

@passwordnow We don't have an affiliate program at the moment but it's on our radar to implement it ASAP. Many users are asking for it.
Yes, actually I've seen someone asked it on your chatbox that's why I've asked it personally here. Since due to public demand, you should add that feature in the near future.
Looks like there will be a lot of people that are already interested to start sharing their referral link if its already implemented.
6356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Justin Sun full of shyt? on: July 30, 2019, 12:29:12 PM
Think of what you want to think but with what I've heard he suffered from kidney stones and that's why he can't attend the lunch. This can be true or another part of marketing to hype this lunch. Who knows what's exactly is happening between him and Warren Buffett?
Sources: Justin Sun too sick for Warren Buffett lunch, but OK for Tron party
Too Sick for Buffett Lunch, Justin Sun Attends Tron Influencer Party in SF
Thank for the links which is really helpful and for those people who do keep speculating above these links are helpful for you not to make direct assumptions.
Marketing gimmick or not,it doesnt matter because neither which way we can actually see that this do involves promotion.
Every cent that Justin Sun spends, it's all for the cost of his marketing. We knew him that he's always getting the attention of the masses with whatever he announces.
Having a lunch with one of the successful investor in the world sure is a big investment and Sun will benefit on it in so many ways.
Agree and no one would just blindly spend up millions for such lunch without any benefits yet these people do knows on what to do when it comes to exposure.

There might be a postponement but this do in regards with his health issues and we should understand rather than on giving out criticism.
It's an investment for him and he knows what he's doing. The benefit will come along with the projects and investments that he's associated with. A billion dollar lunch with a billionaire sure is worth to take as long as he has the money to spend it.
Though let's move on, the lunch has been canceled though.
6357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: July 30, 2019, 10:41:06 AM
Those high amount bettors every single bet mostly don't expose themselves and remain anonymous.

It's probably because they are humble enough, or for security purposes.

But as for me, my biggest bet is only $20. Why? Obviously, I don't gamble that much and I don't like losing. Plus, it's the amount I can "afford to lose" for now. I don't have a job yet and I only gamble excess money from my allowance. And I think it's a good practice of "self-control" so that nothing worse can happen to me; become a gambling addict, particularly.
Most of them are and just want to remain silent and do whatever they want. I've seen on different casinos those high rollers and most of them aren't even chatting on the chat box and there's no way to know if they ever had some other accounts to talk to.
It's okay if your highest would be $20 with one bet, if you know on how much is that in some other countries that are striving to earn $1 per day, then you'll understand on how big it is already.
6358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Campaign and Bounties - BELIEVE COIN on: July 30, 2019, 09:48:49 AM
We look for a campaign manager and Bounties, accepting our coin for the promotion.
There will be few bounty/signature campaign managers that are likely to take this job if you will pay them with your token. And take note that most of the reputable bounty/signature campaign manager would prefer to accept bitcoin and few altcoins that are reliable to trade.
Since you will pay with your coin, move this to Marketplace(Altcoins).
6359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wxt wirex token thread on: July 30, 2019, 08:33:06 AM
Its the token related to wirex visa cards, and the product is already working in europe, so I think it's very serious. We will see.
I see so this is a serious project with a real company that's applying this token. I'm considering these kinds of coins as something valuable as long as they have usecase but about its market, it's too early to tell. If binance will never notice this coin, the developers should at least apply for listing instead of assuming on when they will be listed there.
Good luck to this project though, you need more exposure as time goes by.
6360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: July 30, 2019, 07:56:57 AM
Those high amount bettors every single bet mostly don't expose themselves and remain anonymous.

So a single bet like in sports, probably around $500-$1000 per bet.

But I'm sure whales bet more than that,  Grin
Yeah that would be the range especially if the sports you are betting is your forte like in football or basketball. There are also bettors that can bet more than that. In boxing, I'm sure that there are bettors that can reach up to millions of dollars.
