Crypto is here to stay so it's going to happen.
6342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitgold (GOLD) - New Protocol - Proof-of-Care (Not PoW or PoS) on: March 14, 2019, 03:52:06 AM
Anymore idea about this proof of care?

Bitgold =! Bitcoin gold

You should have chose a better name.
6343  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 27, 2019, 01:04:27 PM
I don't think we will ever see a bull like how it did in 2017, maybe im too hopeless but I do not give it a chance to be honest.
You are too hopeless to think that we aren't going to see the bull that once touched the crypto market last 2017. I wouldn't expect something the same just like by that year but I'm more optimistic to think that higher would come for the next bull run. It's okay if you don't give it a chance and you're too hopeless with the market at these times. Someone who has lost a lot with his investments through crypto will think of the same feeling as you are feeling right now.
6344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 11, 2019, 05:56:11 PM
Come on, everytime I see someone comparing a project and choosing his favorite, there's always the extension of nauticus.

its my first time to hear about nauticus but grin do have a potential to succeed because it has  a unique feature that can compete with other cryptos .
GRIN has the potential but with nauticus, I can't say a thing.
I also believe that GRIN has great potential in 2019. Today GRIN price has increased by 40% and is listed in Bittrex, this is a good altcoin and can hold in the long term
Mimblewimble do really rocks!

And that's the new craze right now, I'm expecting other projects to adopt this protocol which they believe to make their coins better. That's just the start of it and for GRIN, it will proceed and though it has pumped quickly right now it's on the stabling stage.
6345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bullish trend has commence! on: February 11, 2019, 05:33:22 PM
Unfortunately, not everything is so simple.
It should be remembered that there are holders who bought at the level of 6K, 7-8K, 10K ... Some of them will want to sell at their price. This will create a lot of resistance at these levels. Therefore, a return to the prices of 15K + will not be easy.
Don't forget those investors who bought during $20,000.

They have the hardest feeling now but regardless of what they feel and what they did. As long as we see the market starts to light up, we should be cheerful and don't think of any negative thing right now. Everything will be fine soon.
6346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 11, 2019, 04:48:08 PM
I think if you have a trading strategy, I think you can buy an altcoin that has a long future, for me you can buy ethereum, Neo, and ripples.
Buy bitcoin and you don't have to think of any long future.

Bitcoin is designed to run for long term basis and those altcoins where all riding's move.
6347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CFNP] ABSolutecoin Signature Campaign | Earn up to $20/Week | Member - Hero/Leg on: February 11, 2019, 03:14:49 PM
Is the signature campaign limited in number of participants? Can I not join the Signature Campaign?
It was included in the title CFNP meaning "Closed for new participants".
6348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Multi-cryptocurrency Wallets In 2019 on: February 11, 2019, 12:51:48 PM
Remember the multi wallets don't give the best security system.
Depending on the wallet.

If these multi wallets are hardware wallets that's indicated to the article such as;

  • Ledger nano s
  • Trezor
  • Keepkey

I also used coinomi and I have no issues with them too.
6349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether vs True USD? on: February 11, 2019, 12:02:55 PM
I don't use stable coins but whatever you use to them, they're both fine. You may want to consider other stable coins too.

  • USDC
  • GUSD

GUSD has some problems atm:
https://www.coindesk.com/winklevoss-crypto-gemini-gusd-stablecoin-redemption
https://www.fxstreet.com/cryptocurrencies/news/gemini-punishes-otc-trading-desks-for-gusd-redemption-201902081137

It could be dangerous to keep large amounts of GUSD because of that. In contrast of GUSD, USDC looks pretty nice at the moment. But still we all should keep in mind the investor's golden rule.
Hey thanks for the heads up!

I'm not aware of that so with that kind of news, I'll remove GUSD for the meanwhile and use a better stable coin if someone would convert their crypto into stable ones.
6350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally ETH is back at no. 2 spot on: February 11, 2019, 11:39:06 AM
Returned, but there were questions on development, the main decision of which would be an update, whether it would help him to break away from competitors.
It will, such development can create a wave to make it better.

And the upcoming upgrade was delayed due to some reasons but we're sure about it that it's going to change ETH for some reasons. As it takes back no. 2 spot, I won't be surprised anymore if XRP will take over it's spot again. I'm done looking at their rally.
6351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to promote the cryptocurrency. on: February 11, 2019, 12:14:35 AM
All sort of social media platforms

*facebook
*twitter
*Instagram
*Pinterest
*Youtube

As in all of them will help reach their certain customer targets. Good thing is that there's a metric for these social media and they know on whom to show those paid ads except for FB.

this is just an advertisement of a certain product of ICO, yes it is a part of cryptocurrency but the main purpose is to enhance the sales of the ICO. We should promote the entire blockchain but we dont have the influence to do that.

If it's about the promotion of blockchain.

We have something to do with that, we can educate people who aren't aware of that. Because they all think that blockchain = crypto but to have this kind of mindset we need to understand that crypto should be promoted. OP's just asking about their ICO product not entirely with blockchain.

I do not agree with you, promotion on social media by paying advertisements is not too influential for the sales promotion of crypto products (coins), i often see several projects advertising on the social media that you mentioned above but their sales are not very successful, instead they tend to fail
I prefer to promote offline like following the blockchain event
It's okay if you don't want to believe on me and if you think that it's not too effective, it's fine.

I'm just suggesting those other platforms where a project can advertise. Despite of some prohibition by facebook and other platforms for the advertising of projects, I still see some that's effectively using them.
6353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 09, 2019, 11:59:21 AM
finally some small signs of recovery, the green, so to speak the sun, is still early to talk about the beginning of the bull market but i will follow with interest
Yes it's still early to talk about the bull run.

But what's positive here is we're seeing some enlightenment that the market is doing pretty good. We're not going to fall forever and these market ups shall continue and we will know the reality if we're on the bull run.

6355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are so many cryptocurrencies in the market, what do they do? on: February 09, 2019, 11:11:28 AM
That's right, there's no use for most of the altcoins in the market.

Although they have market cap that sums to the total crypto market cap. That's all, they contribute to the whole market through the money that comes to them but with real usage, I don't find any.
6356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on [BNB] Binance Coin. +14% up on: February 09, 2019, 10:30:52 AM
It's not exempted.

Bitcoin increases, BNB and other altcoin increases. This is what's happening right now, majority of the altcoins are taking the benefit of bitcoin's increase. Demand for bitcoin increases and so for other altcoins including BNB.
6357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Have you ever bought anything with your Crypto! on: February 09, 2019, 10:10:04 AM
Don't post in multiple sections with the same topic, you should stick to this one. I'd advise you to close the other thread you made on Marketplace (Altcoins).
6358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop emulating Crypto currency Traders finishing line on: February 09, 2019, 09:35:17 AM
Trading is continuous and we have our very own race.

It doesn't matter on how much other people lost or made. Remember that we just have to mind our own business.
6359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 09, 2019, 08:53:58 AM
Everyone is looking for a sign of green. The greens will come and go, yet we yearn for the sustained green. What I feel is that a tough of green in the market is a sign of light in the tunnel.
Hoping these words are from above!

If the market has ever like this, everyone wouldn't be discouraged with the market. Stay tune for the next days and this will be the most exciting moments of our lives. Chinese new year is done and now the rumors about ETF is on.
6360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 09, 2019, 08:27:59 AM
No need for a long explanation.

Short answer: Bitcoin.
agree.
the best explanation about that is, because bitcoin sometimes becomes a glass for other altcoins. sometimes price increases start from increasing bitcoin, or information about it. because of that, having a few bitcoins will be good for beginners.
No, it's not just sometimes.

But the whole scene is revolving all over bitcoin, it's not just sometimes that when the price of bitcoin starts to increase alts will do. No, it has always been the post of the cryptocurrency market. All of the altcoins are depending to bitcoin's status.
