Stay calm, play dead and keep your eyes open for attractive valuations. A bear market can easyly make half from your portfolio and the worth thing that you can do is a panic sell.
This is somehow not possible for the newbies in the market and it is not possible for them to stay calm and wait for the market recovery. They rather sell low due to panic and this leads to loss. What a rational man should do is to hold the coins and wait for the market recover as the market recovers at some point in time like it started recovering in July. Moreover, we have an element of stability in the market right now and the price is also expected to rise, so it is a wise decision to invest and hold when the market is down. Yeah, definitely because beginners are not used to see a red market or bear market since they are just entered a while. Newbies should set a great mindset when it comes to volatility of the market, the fluctuation of the market is the real challenge to all. What's the general feeling about some of the altcoins that have dropped in value considerably such as TRON, district0x, Cardano and SiberianChervonets.
I've been HODLing these for a while hoping they will recover but their value seems to be getting even lower. With new coins being launched daily, is it likely that these will ever recover?
Altcoins continue to be created every day and each competes with each other. I think the market is not ready to experience a big increase now. But I think fluctuations are a cycle, and in the future, some selected altcoins will actually return to their highest prices. This is true. This is the cycle of cryptocurrency. The market goes down and up, which is so called fluctuation. Investors and holder are waiting for a bull market in the following months. I'm still using MEW as I consider it one of the safest wallets out there. It's true some of its developers left to start mycrypto project. But that doesn't mean MEW is now an abandoned project. Just ensure you prioritize your safety by ensuring you don't enter your private keys on a phishing site.
Technically MEW is just an interface for creating your wallet, and I think you've misunderstood that MEW is the safest since it's very risky moreover if you access the wallet using your private key. The safest wallet is where you can access them without giving your private key or store them offline, the hardware wallet for example. MEW itself not recommend people to use private key as a method of login, since their site always got attacked yeah it's better safe than sorry, just a friendly advice. Most of people thinks that MyEtherWallet is safe but its not. All online wallets are risky MEW for example as you copy and paste your private keys on the web, there are some people who made MyEtherWallet's copied website and many had turn their assets into ash because of that incident that is why there is warning on Myetherwallet's website. |

I have not dared to take part in a bounty campaign, the bounty campaign does not guarantee that we can get tokens, bounties now send lots of tokens that are not sold, I have not dared to follow the bounty campaign project.
You are missing out bro. I've been participating in bounty campaigns for a few months now and while not all campaigns pay, you will eventually get lucky and turn a good profit. I would suggest first ranking up your account then joining signature campaigns. In total, i'd say i've earned an estimated amount of more than $1000 USD. Joining in campaign won't assured your profit as a participant since it is just an Initial Coin Offering so it may or may not succeed in the process. As my strategy, i expect worst outcome for my every campaign not being negative but atleast if it is a scam then you'll not be stressed. Also, choose wisely on bounty campaigns from whitepapers and bounty manager, sometimes its the bounty manager that scams not really the ico team. |

I think it depends on the mentality and immediate needs of that particular investor. However, in my opinion, the best strategy is not to be too jumpy and if possible rely on long term HODL.
To survive the bear market is just to hold. If you cut your loss on bear market then you have weak mind as the coins are on their downs or lesser price than the usual price you bought it. Cutting your loss is a sign of uninterested what the market can do over time onto your investment. First you need to understand what bear market is and what would be the next season after that. |

Invest in bitcoin and altcoin but not to ICO, trust me most of the ICO price even you bought them in high price wouldn't benefit you, its either you are going to get what you invested. ICO's now are more prone to dumping since the projects are easy to fall or just a year hype, some are useless or just a copy of the other. I preferably invest on new coins or newly dumped coins since there is a huge possibility of bouncing prices.

If i am to invest this year i would prefer btc and eth. Needless to explain, just see how affordable the price of eth these days. You just have to hodl and and try to be patient as you can. On the other hand while btc's price is low now it is still expensive to invest with it but if i have the resources i will definitely invest on btc.

Analyze the market, but before that you need to do some research for you to have enough knowledge in what coin to choose, But the thing is there are lots of coin, a good coins that follows bitcoin not just the Ethereum. Hello everyone!
We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.
And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?
I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.
What is your idea?
This is true, this is not the perfect time to sell tokens because of its low rates. Rather hold for it and wait for the market to goes up again. And also you can grab this opportunities to buy more or to work for your to gain more tokens, this is the perfect timing to have more tokens. Because as you look back in the past charts as stated above it will probably rise again. |
