6341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 07, 2019, 06:45:38 AM
Barcelona 1 - 1 Real Madrid

Great match, El Clasico never dissapoints. I feel like the game could've gone either way, we dominated the first half, even though Barca had some clear chances, and then Barcelona dominated the 2nd half. Llorente was a bit underwhelming in the midfield, and Marcelo had such a terrible night that he made Malcom look like a world class player.

Btw, what a terrible mistake from Ramos in the 1-1, he completely let the ball go right into the net  Huh

This was indeed a very competitive match honestly, was not expecting Real Madrid to offer any challenge to Barcelona. I’m surprised Bale didn’t start he missed an excellent shot to wrap it up for Madrid, Couthino was awful it’s only a matter of time before he’s sold. I wonder had Messi started would he been the difference, as Barcelona was clearly missing him on the pitch.

Here is car launch schedule:

Almost all cars will be launched in this and next week. First pre-season testing will start on 19th February. More than one month until new season...
I have a pretty good feeling for RBR this year.  Anyone wanna bet against 'RBR finishes above Ferrari in points' this year?  Nothing big.  Just a friendly bet of 10 bucks.  Grin
Brave prediction! I'm in! Cheesy I see no way how Red Bull can finnish above Ferrari in constructors championship.
Sauber officially is now Alfa Romeo Sauber Racing team. After so many years Alfa is back in formula 1. Maybe they will be good or something close to what they were back in the early years.
In previous season they already had Alfa Romeo logo on the car, so these changes were planned for long time. But it won't make big changes, they will remain to be reserve team of Ferarri.

Hey it seems the wait to see these beauties are finally getting over, I can’t wait to see what new changes will be coming. I do hope this year Ferrrari offers some stiff competition, even after having one of the fastest cars they seem to be lagging season after season. I believe Hamilton will start as the favourite to win at the season end, anyone else recommends keeping an eye on some other driver to cause an upset?.

I think this news was a bit of outdated. With his latest words,

He said that bitcoin is dead --> https://cryptomenow.com/us-based-rapper-soulja-boy-says-that-the-glory-days-of-bitcoin-is-over/

Hey this is not surprising at all, and I’m preety sure he didn’t even had those 1000 coins, he wanted more publicity for himself by claiming that. I feel as we’re in a bear market he and others are slamming it, but when bitcoins fortunes reversals happen he’ll come out and apologise. I’m not paying attention to his words as they’re nothing but publicity stunts, one should ignore him and his words.

What a load of tosh. It's the US sanctions and subversive regime change activities that have screwed Venezuela. Everybody knows that the US just wants to steal the oil and gold reserves, and John Bolton has declared this publicly. We must be getting close to a massive world shakeup when Russia or China, or some other nation sinks a US aircraft carrier. Maduro is an ex-bus driver, and not the best politician that the world has seen, but the US must remove sanctions, and give the Venezuelans a chance to escape from starvation and foreign oppression, and try to rebuild their country.

The US has never won a war since the American civil war, and half of them lost that. It needs to be careful now that it is losing its military edge, world approval, and economic strength.

I’m not surprised by his ranting he’s not the first president to do it, and he won’t be the last one too to start a war right before their term ends. It’s even surprising all the wars have two things in common oil and gold, remember the Iraq war the so called weapons are till date not found. Third World War May be more closer than we think look around us the global states are in chaos be it brexit, Venezuela etc, all it’ll take one strike to trigger it.

I understand you want to get the money you are owed and liverpool does look like they will win it this year for sure unless some magic happens

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves here. I think I'd be delighted to have my money back on the bet to be fair..

While I believe Liverpool are the front runners, I feel they’re chocking under the pressure they just have a three point lead now. I feel the title race is wide open now, and it could swing to City way too unless they screw up and hand Liverpool the title.

I'll try this solution too as sometimes the site don't load fast.
This https://old.sportsbet.io. looks better than the updated site, they have to solve this problem, it's very inconvenient on our part
because like in my case, I love to place my bet in the last minute.

6346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 05, 2019, 02:24:28 PM

Kids shouldn’t go to school and learn the same repetitive education that trained them to be slave, like lawyers, accountant, doctor, they should be earning their own bitcoin too.

I don’t believe we shouldn’t teach kid about money, we should be encourage them to earn money, since bitcoin are easy to earn, why we must tell kids to follow the same advices that lead to what we have failed millenial generation today? We don’t want our kid to end up like millenial again, we shall teach them not working for money, and as young as possible.

Becoming millionaire is no longer a privilege right to grown up man, kids should have them too, easy access to banking are also shouldn’t limited to matured, why some exchange still so stereotype by not allowing kids below 18 years old to trade crypto, this is very sad and very bad to them.

While I sympathise with your cause and can understand, that the money you spent on your education did not give you the returns you had hoped for this is not the way to go ahead. I love bitcoins I really do and I’ll definitely teach my child once he becomes older, and matured but right in his adolescence years never. I feel you should channelise your inner frustration somewhere else, cause now I feel you’re spamming around.
6347  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: February 05, 2019, 11:56:51 AM
Don't know if you're aware guys but WorldFirst closed its business last week, there are a lot of sellers on Amazon who rely on it (the medium and marge sellers). Binance CEO said Amazon won't have the choice to accept BTC.

Why Amazon would issue a new currency to its system, do you think It's its job to find an alternative for its sellers? Heel no. Amazon doesn't care the company is so big

I wasn’t aware that WorldFirst shut down it’s business, this could be an opportunity for them to consider uisng bitcoins as a payment system. While there’re probalities that if Amazon wants it can create it’s own crypto, but won’t it be open to manipulation by them and I’m preety sure sellers will resist this. I believe the faith of bitcoins being accepted rests on Sec clearing Bitcoins Etfs as and when they’re filed again, till then don’t expect them to start using it.
6348  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 05, 2019, 03:17:52 AM
Is there any plan from bitdice to add poker (Texas Holdem) in the future. To be honest, there are only 2 'good' poker sites and would be nice to see more competence, it would be easy to add with some software like poker mavens or cubeia. So, any plans about this?

It would be really difficult without a big existing playerbase.

I’ll second that most of the players on Bitdice I have seen are playing Dice or Blackjack, adding that game will take time and I don’t think the current players are poker fans. I feel instead of adding the poker game right away they can make a survey, asking players if they wish to see poker on the site. On the basis of the input they get, they can take a call going ahead.
6349  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: February 04, 2019, 06:03:50 PM

They are probably waiting for the sportsbook to get more recognition first. They will probably get it marketed somehow in the end with some promotions and so forth but it is just too early right now and they want to make sure everything works properly. As soon as they think they are ready and the sportsbook works as expected than they will start doing marketing and they will get it heard. Don't forget they didn't publish it here, someone who saw it on facebook shared it here so they are not %100 ready just yet, probably on a "beta" mode or sorts.

We are basically the beta testers at this point and when its full release than they will do like cashback and incentives and promotions and bonuses and all the other stuff but not all together probably, they will do one and give a break and do another and give break to get the maximum potential from it.

I’m not sure if your view is correct about us being beta testers, they made an announcement on Facebook where they went public with their book, I’m sure they would have thoroughly tested it. Also you have correctly stated they’re yet to announce it here, I’m hoping they’re planning something special for gamblers. I have yet to test it out, but has anyone else played on it what are your reviews about the odds?
6350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 773M Emails Hacked on: February 04, 2019, 01:45:45 PM
This info has been going around quite some time now but I just wanted to share with anyone who hasn't heard it yet. The article explains how was found out that 773M emails and over 21M passwords were hacked and leaked on what is thought to be the largest email hack ever. https://www.cnet.com/news/massive-breach-leaks-773-million-emails-21-million-passwords/

What does this mean for me?

Like everyone I have my email address linked with several exchanges with several open orders in buy or in sell. That being said if someone was to find my mail address and password would try and enter on those exchanges. I've activated 2FA on every exchange but it doesn't feel good to know that I might be one of those 773M hacked email. My coins are on my hardware wallets but I have some other on exchanges on buy and sell orders. With one email hack I could lose some money. Luckily there is this website  https://haveibeenpwned.com that finds out if your email has been hacked or not. I tried it and fortunately my main account I use on most exchanges is safe.
I suggest everyone to give it a try and if you find out smth that you don't like I suggest you change the email password to start with, and then to change the password on all the exchanges where you have used that email address.

Let's keep our money safe guys  Wink

I remember a similar mail was sent to many people last year, where the hackers had put their passwords too in the mail and demanded ransom. I believe these emails which get hacked happen due to people entering passwords on sites which are not secured, or downloading files containing viruses which steal their data. I like the 2fa option which helps me be relaxed, also i use passwords of 16 digits so let them enjoy cracking it.
6351  Economy / Speculation / Re: After Chinese new year BTC price will rise? on: February 04, 2019, 11:27:14 AM
Right now we don't know for sure about the market after the Chinese new year, just hoping it will be better. The movements that have occurred so far are quite slow and tend to go down so many feel they are losing. Let's wait to see the current crypto flow.

I’m optimistic that Bitcoins prices shall rise, but I’m not sure if it will rise as the new year ends in China we will have to wait and see. As of now there’s not much changes in the prices, it seems the extended bear phase will continue in the Chinese New Year too. The moments are called as fluctuations, and bitcoins is a volatile currency and one should avoid short term fluctuations for bigger long term gains.
6352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 04, 2019, 07:48:25 AM
Right now the only real news is that Neymar will be out during the upcoming elimination stage against Manchester United.

Still I highly see as the team to go further PSG because of all the quality players residing in the team. The players of Manchester United do not have the capacity to overcome PSG.

I feel Neymar being unavailable for PSG will effect them mentally, while they have an exceptional squad his mere presence would have boosted their confidence. I believe Manchester United can take inspiration from David slaying the Goalith, wherein I consider Manchester United to be David. If you’re not aware then let me remind you this Manchester United is not your regular team, and the tactics they deploy change per team so bet against them at your own peril.
6353  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should the UK return the Venezuelan gold? on: February 04, 2019, 03:38:48 AM
Venezuela's greatest problem is that it has the world's largest oil reserves, and the second largest gold reserves, and some other stuff. Everybody want to take control of these assets, and unfortunately the people are the ones who suffer as a result of this. Guaido is a graduate of the American regime change college, and may well turn out to be worse for Venezuela than Maduro, and that must be a pretty extreme comment.

In my personal opinion sending gold back to Venezuela now will be a bad decision, I feel they should only send it back once there’s some stability. I’m not convinced by either of the candidates, as the current one has screwed their economy, and the other one basically wants to bend the knee to USA. It is in times like these the people need to make a choice stick with the current leader, or bend the knee to USA forever.
6354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 03, 2019, 06:07:29 PM
Always happy when there are matches Manchester United and Manchester United finally win. they deserve to get 3 points and keep trying to enter the big 4 zone. in the current match arsenal is behind 1-0 by the citizens, if Manchester city can win the match, of course Manchester United's chances will be even greater to enter the Champions League zone. I predict that the citizens will win the match with the final score 3-1.

The match between Manchester United & Leicester was a very tough one, and Manchester United won courtesy of Rashfords goal and De Gea wonderful saves. While other players played their part, I felt Manchester United were sluggish, and if they want a top four finish they need to step up their game. Manchester City has already made the score line you wished for, I hope they win so we see Manchester United close to top 4.
6355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Your Coins Safe on: February 03, 2019, 02:37:13 PM
Is it not possible that we'd wake up one day and all the coins of a network are gone. Maybe mined overnight by hackers https://cryptoinfowatch.com/proof-of-stake-attack-25-cryptocurrencies-vulnerable/

Hey no it won’t happen with you or anyone else who take care of the basics, such attacks are common and despite so many guidelines people yet loose their coins. I would suggest you not to leave your coins on a exchange, you can use Electrum wallet for holding them. Then make sure you clean your system with good antivirus, never transact on a public wifi, and most importantly never share your wallet data with anyone.
6356  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Officially In Its Longest Bear Market Ever on: February 03, 2019, 09:03:31 AM
If that's the reality then we cannot do anything to change it.
What we can do now is accept it, honestly, I'm not interested in reading stuffs like that, it's so negative, I already
pledge to myself to focus on the positive news alone, I might be bias but it's my way to minimize the fear inside, I'm feeding myself with good info now.

It will not bring good vibes in the market anyway, price is stable now but it's still bad in its current standing.

Hey it’s real we’re indeed in a bear phase which has refused to end, but then again it should also be seen as a slow and steady accumulation phase. I like the fact that you’re ignoring short term fluctuations and negativity, and only focusing on the long term picture which will bring good returns. As far the prices are concerned currently there’re no positive news, which can lift it up we will have to be patient with the prices.
6357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investors now moving to gold on: February 03, 2019, 04:56:00 AM
this was true because we see that the value of bitcoin is decreasing at all times  .  if there are people who dislikes the price decline , there are also people who likes it  .  the price can recover if those people are going to start buying  and the people that switch to gold will also go back to bitcoin  .  theres nothing worry about it guys  . just continue what you are doing because btc will be just fine  , trust me

There’s no doubt that we’re in the longest bear phase bitcoins has seen since it’s adoption, but the statement people are moving to gold from bitcoins is one big lie. I feel people are being misled into buying gold at current levels where I feel prices are very high, and soon this bubble will burst and gold prices shall crash. I urge people to not repeat the mistake of December 2017, of buying a currency/commodity at it’s peak just cause you’re made to believe others are buying it too.
6358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: February 02, 2019, 06:08:06 PM
You have to stay up to date with the project to react early. But it is not a wise decision to sell after the coin has already dumped hard.
I have also made this experience but hold my coins always because sometimes there is a trend and it will get up again.

This is the primary reason why I avoid Ico’s and alts as most of the buyers will panic, and dump the coins. I have always emphasised on holding the coins, cause if it’s a good coin like bitcoin it is sure to rise up. I have a simple policy of not reacting to short term fluctuations, I always stay invested for the long term. I’ll never sell due to panic, but only in case of emergencies.
6359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't let those spelling mistakes & poor grammar turn your post into a shitpost. on: February 02, 2019, 01:48:24 PM
I don't like Grammarly - even the name jars with me. Also, it's primarily American, and that is a colloquial subset of English.

I’m too not a huge fan of grammarly as at times it does more good than harm, but each one has his preferences and they can stick to it. I wonder how many newbies will take the the effort to first write a post here, then submit to grammarly and then come back again and post here?. Also just a heads up in the free version they’ll happily show you the errors, but not the solution so good luck to all who follow.
6360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bakkt really an overrated event? on: February 02, 2019, 11:39:50 AM
This month, Bakkt implementation will push through or maybe not as what they always do(postpone it) and I see lot of people talked about how it affects the price. Question is will it really make the price soar/higher or this is just an overrated assumption?

A similar question was asked when Bitcoins Futures were coming in December 2017, some were in favour of it, some were not but when it came it took the market by storm. In my personal opinion I’m expecting it to lift the market sentiments up, and fuel bitcoins prices upwards but then again nothing is guaranteed with bitcoins. Also it’s not launching anytime soon, and the impact can only been seen post the launch.
