6362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why stop at 21 million? on: November 26, 2013, 01:24:54 PM
Then bitcoin will be no more different than fiat money.
We could not print but mine how many we want.

It would mean failure of the whole concept.
6363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Electronic Currency That Could Save The Economy - And It's Not Bitcoin on: November 26, 2013, 01:09:46 PM
The moment the gov creates an alt coin and it advertise you can pay your taxes and it pays it's own men with that new crypto..
bitcoin users vs govcoin users 0-1 mil.

You can do that already with fiat and visa and paypal. You don't need an altcoin.

You know what this thread it's all about ?
6364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't worth it for consumers. And that will stop adoption. on: November 26, 2013, 01:03:57 PM
No one in their right mind is going to use BTC as a currency as long as they expect the value to keep rising.
You know your cash will be worth less this time next year, thats the incentive to spend it.
In the 19th century, during the golden standard, there was a constant deflation. So what? Why spend gold and silver, if you can buy more for them next year? Because you need to eat today!

Even now we have a deflation with a lot of things. Why buy a new smartphone now, if in 3 months it's gonna be much cheaper, and in 1 year it will fall to half its price?

If bitcoin users have all their cash in BTC they will have to spend it some time.

I don't think that there are even 10 people with all their money in bitcoin.
And , also many people advise against holding everything in btc.
6365  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Play a game as my referral - Earn up to 1 BTC! on: November 26, 2013, 01:01:35 PM
guys you should stop panicking. Keep in mind, that of course he cheated many of us by not paying what he promised but remember:
No matter if you have signed from referral link or not you are paying the same taxes (to admin if not referral). Thus you are losing nothing by playing as his referral. But since he not behaved nicely i suggest to just create new game and start again with more knowledge than before.

What i propose is to post our referral links here and sign up new game for latest ref link. Eg.
I will post mine, then next person will create new account on mine refer and submit his ref link and next person will create account on his link etc. That way we will help each other and later can send OP to hell.
my ref link:
www.goldentowns.com?i=46066
someone create new game on this and post his ref link for others.

Great idea but without the 1btc reward , many people won't bother to play.
Also it's quite hard to make some real cash with it without first investing in it at this stage.
6366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think Coinbase wallet is safe? on: November 26, 2013, 12:58:23 PM
Nothing which is run by a human is 100% safe.
And nothing made by a human is 100% safe.

Shit can happen with everything , all it matters is the amount of luck you have when choosing services

That wall at stamp at $838 should remember what happened to the 3k $144 wall few months ago (it was there the whole night and price didn't even sliped for a bit).

Are you "talking to the walls"? =)))))

I could tell you from the start that this will be their solution but didn't want to be the bringer of bad news.
6371  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to $20 worth of BTC for doing nothing on: November 26, 2013, 12:21:15 PM

6373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US banks warn Fed interest cut could force them to charge depositors on: November 26, 2013, 12:16:40 PM
National banks and normal banks alike will definitely got to battle with bitcoin, most likely trying to legislate but also buy giving bad press. It is indeed self serving, there livelihood is at stake. Question is what can they really do about it, haven't seen anything concrete. And maybe it was a bank or banker that bought the 1,6% to hedge its bets (not sure it was a purchase though, could also have been moving around of a trading house or something)

Bitcoin is a currency or a commodity or whatever ..
You still need banks for loans , and bitcoin is not designed for this.
6374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want pay for my Education by Converting Bitcoin TO USD on: November 26, 2013, 12:14:28 PM
Yeah. Getting easy money is always good.  Tongue

But can you suggest me how to earn bit coins? So that I can start with primedice.com.

At least 1.

I can suggest you to use you're first coin more wisely.
And gamble only what you can afford to lose.
6375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2013, 12:10:05 PM
Its not an insult, you guys need to research about this reptile dude b4 even bother reading his post. He was a laughing stock. Then he admitted that he needed help and checked into rehab. None of that is an insult. I'm shocked seeing him back and the same old "i'm loaded, i'm dumping coins" BS.

If you check back to my posts last spring, they did indeed generate more angry responses. So I decided to back away from the forum until they would be better received. IMO this is what's happening just now - all of my threads are receiving spontaneous kudos from newcomers especially.

Your posts are of way better quality now than they were by the time.
But also the sentiment that maybe you can be right with your price prediction helps. (With a more reasonable timeframe, though)

So that whole therapy was worth the money bitcoins.
6376  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay's bitcoin directory on: November 26, 2013, 12:07:10 PM
Needs a search by location also.
Interesting idea nevertheless.
6377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who to carry bitmit's mantle? on: November 26, 2013, 12:05:25 PM

6378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready… on: November 26, 2013, 12:02:44 PM
If BTCchina breaks 5363 Bitcoin will do another run, making a new all-time high.
5363, you sure? Not 5348, or 5411?

Technical analysis = voodoo mumbo jumbo.

If China breaks 7000, that's when it makes a new all time high.

You heard it hear first.
I've even seen it see!

I'm personally waiting for 7777. Cheesy.
Also when we break this , 9999 next.
I hate the 8 number.
6379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US banks warn Fed interest cut could force them to charge depositors on: November 26, 2013, 12:00:29 PM
Bitcoin user not affected ^_^
Bitcoin user is still a US citizen (or whatever country) , if this is going to affect the economy you're going to be affected too.
