6364  Economy / Service Discussion / Consider bitstamp dead on: August 29, 2014, 11:49:46 PM
FIAT withdrawal delays for big amounts and attacking USD withdrawals with enormous fees. This won't help them survive for too long. A month maximum. Bitstamp refuses to prove their reserves and brings up shitty excuses to the myriads of people that have problems withdrawing. Get out while you can.
6365  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: August 29, 2014, 09:15:23 PM
So now if i want to change algorithm's i just have to change the color of my hashlet?

The least they can do for the people is color code their magic hashlets...  Orange def. should be Scrypt-N

Side note: This is so fucking annoying... There's literally scamlet advertisements on every bitcoin/altcoin related website on the internet..

If anything it makes me feel like they are trying too hard..  Haven't they learned that the number 1 way to turn customers OFF your product is to SPAM THEM WITH ADS

I'd say that since they've sold so many of those little magic things called hashlets they're succeeding so far. If you read the headlines some days ago, they had sold more than 1m$ in a week and their daily sales value of hashlets were bigger than overstock.

Payment received. Thanks.
6367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: August 29, 2014, 12:25:04 PM

I didn't feel comfortable asking friends/family to allow some unknown force to have access to their profile information just so I could get 2,5000 Stellars. Let me know if you want it. Someone wanted me to verify by skype, but I don;t have a skype account. I am an old man haha.

Ι talked my friends into this as a joke. "Today I'll be talking you about this incredible once in a lifetime money making opportunity you shall not miss." And also played this song in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNmSU1yzIA8

I got 40k stellars from them and gave steam gifts to each in exchange. Success.  Cool
6368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are you a gambler? STAY AWAY FROM COINBASE! on: August 29, 2014, 10:47:27 AM

Gaming operators need to do more to educate themselves on the block chain tracking tools and the IP matching tools out there.

If not, we will get to a point where customers are stuck between exchanges that are closing down accounts and gaming sites whose customers transactions become increasingly mapped and possibly black listed.

Customers will have to make decisions about gaming with particular operators vs. ease of cashing in/out through exchanges.

Most game websites already inform the players about the wallets the should be using. On chain games that send coins back to the address that sent the transaction already can't allow coinbase users to play. And now this. Maybe what they should do is to raise awarness of what coinbase is doing and that they should be using an entirely different wallet service if they're going to gamble. Because using a washing service/tumber won't solve the problem for more than a single transaction.

6372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Does buying in bulk make it cheaper? on: August 28, 2014, 12:02:43 PM
I'm talking about btc miners ofcourse.

Also whats the lowest cost ones:
Electrically
usd per gh

Of course, everything is cheaper buying in bulk.

Except bitcoin. And pretty much anything sold in an exchange. Unless someone finds a private deal with someone that wants to sell a lot of bitcoin at once.

More solid proof that the hashlet is feasible. It was infact a godsent gift.

We are now officially forking Litecoin. Well we would be if we existed.

we are amping up all your miners and doubling their power for 12 hours. This is just one of many examples the types of things we will be doing with Hashlets!

Not only litecoin. Forking a single coin would be derogatory for such a big amount of hashpower. As soon as the multi pool forces all the hash power to a single, most profitable coin, it destroys it in an instant and moves to the next one after a while. During those 12 hours that everyone's the hashing power is magically doubled, the hashlets could destroy every single scrypt coin that has ever existed. We shall thank our lord and saviour GAW miner seo for not destroying all the coins out there while he clearly has the ability of doing so.
It isn't a doubling in hashing it is a promotion where the payouts are doubled for 12 hours.  Now you can go back to checking under your bed for monsters.

You missed a couple of things.

Their damn CEO clearly states:

Doubling their hash power Doubling their hash power Doubling thei hash power

Oh and also

I remember this thread being fully optimistic and flooded by new updates from the website. Oh how times have changed. Maybe after so many people got burned from other scams newcomers have decided to become more sceptical with where they put their money in.
6379  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: August 26, 2014, 08:24:07 PM

what can an audit, proof? right, nothing! never, forget that!

Normally an audit would be solid proof of a company's solvency but I can't vouch for this case in specific.

Think it might be a browser compatibility issue, because I did not get the same Opt-In page. {It was blank}

I will also need to check script options and other browser solutions for my platform.

Had the same issues with CEX.io pages and trading there.

I also couldn't get cex to work with firefox. The website is working fine for me and I'm using chrome.
