6361  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Be the first to try the true Decentralized Naming System: Butterfly Protocol on: November 20, 2019, 06:36:57 AM
Basically, you are trying to replace centralized system (ICANN) with another centralized one, where a "team" and "sponsors" control the whole naming space of the Internet, with some DAO-style pseudo-governance which doesn't touch the core of the system.

Namecoin, instead, is as descentralized as Bitcoin is, with no centralized team nor "sponsors".

And I continue to consider it a very bad decision that domain purchases are permanent. That will not work. Squattering will reach such high levels that the system won't be usable anymore.

My stance: Not interesting at all.

You have a good point, people will just go for a buying spree and parked these domains especially domains with high keywords important attach to it, he can own it for life and just wait for buyers, this could results in a monopoly of domain, if you cannot keep up your domain, let somebody who is interested to buy it, parking domain is a business, and it will be abused, I'm ok with annual.
6362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Pay for Odd Jobs With Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 04:14:50 AM
An unemployed dude comes to your house to ask for off jobs, say to throw away your thrash and mow the lawn. You had no cash but he owns a bitcoin wallet and asks to be paid in bitcoins. Would you pay in bitcoin?

Why not, no problem at all and I will be glad that I will be paying him with Bitcoin, and might hire him regularly if decides to accept Bitcoin as payment for every work, here in our place I'm really looking for people to work for me that accepts Bitcoin, it encourages the promotion of Bitcoin, how I wish there is a local marketplace here that deals with Bitcoin payment, maybe in the future we will have one in every city.

Better take your time first and check these tutorials so you will have good decision making on what to install and what to add

6364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 19, 2019, 11:58:45 AM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.
6365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: November 19, 2019, 04:15:49 AM
Because the results of this year's bounty are decreasing, even many of the bounty hunters do not earning from bounties, do many of you who don't usually take part in the bounty gambling, now move to bounty gambling to remain earning from the bounty, because I saw in this forum bounty gambling still pay well and continue to live, bounty gambling is an alternative to earning from bounty.
And does anyone of you make income to become from the bounties gambling to fulfill your daily life?

If not for bounty gambling and Cryptotalk signature campaign I can say those signature bounties are now useless, my best bounties happened in 2017 and after that, there's no good bounty and profitable bounty to join anymore, all are just a waste of time I joined one bounty, took me 7 months top received the rewards and it's not even $10 a month's work.
6366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 19, 2019, 03:55:09 AM
First there is an announcement, then there is 3 year Roadmap,
extended each year with meaningless additions, fake recruiting of
employees, trade interrupts, software announcements, wallet updates, changes
quizes, games, givaways, airdrops, forks, ICOs etc, etc, etc.

I've seen several coins with great tech which is perfectly quick and secure, anonymous (or not) and safe.
They all have mobile wallets and wallets for every OS.
Despite this fact they cannot be adopted. Nobody wants to use them, there is no real need for them.
A team of good programmers could develop a blockchain which can replace banks and paper money
in a month. Another month for testing and another month for setting up nodes across the globe.
The main point behind all this is: who controlls these programmers?

Voilla. it is that easy. That is why I think all these announcements and Roadmaps are bullshit.

That's the reality I can give you a lot of coins like that, but at least they developed their project, they seem to lose motivation to move forward because it is not being adopted, and it fails their expectation, some of these coins targeted a wrong industry to create a token and they failed to gain support, developers should also do a research or feasibility study, not only building a coin for that industry because they want to be the first one to do so in that industry.
6367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Have you lured someone in Gambling? on: November 19, 2019, 02:51:16 AM
This really happens, a friend told me this, he has a friend that he wants to treat in his birthday, and since he is very much into gambling, he invited him to go on a casino to treat, since it's his birthday, but he did not have the slightest idea that his friend whom he lured to gambling, will frequent the casinos and play on his own, until he becomes addicted, he is guilty of this because he did not know that he will be luring his friend to gambling, because of that treat.
How about have you lured someone to gambling and what will you do if you did?
6368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 19, 2019, 02:09:41 AM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?

I don't think I can loan him, because this will just push him to gamble more, but if it's an emergency I can give him a loan but if it's because he lost from gambling I don't think I can even if I have a fund, he should learn his lesson not to lose big amount of money and then loan, people should have control on how they gamble and how much money they can allocate.
6369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: November 18, 2019, 05:27:07 PM
They've been removed or they are in the process of removal, exchanges don't want a useless and no volume coin in their platform, Coinmarketcap and Coingecko take them out of they failed to deliver the required volume, so even if you don't ask it, the market will take action to remove these bad coins in the market, we all want progressive coin in the market, investors are more discerning now more than ever.
6370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you become a better or a worse person after you started gambling on: November 18, 2019, 02:53:03 PM
Are you a much better person now that you are gambling or you turn up worse after you started gambling, we are talking about the character here, there's people who became worse after starting gambling, while some people become a good decision-maker and had more control because of gambling so which version are you.
6371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good projects/hard to reach softcap on: November 17, 2019, 03:28:34 PM
Few good projects i have seen are having hard time to gather funds, they are still far behind to reaching their target softcap
1. Bitwings
2. EZ365

What do you have in mind about these two project? they are good enough to give a try for me, what do you say?

Checking on these two projects, they looked good but we cannot blame investors, because there are projects who are deemed good projects by even experts but end up a big failure I hope they will not do what LBX or London Block Exchange has done, pausing their campaign because they cannot reach the targetted funds, LBX distributed the token to bounty hunters and refunded investors, but what will Bounty hunters will do to useless tokens.
6372  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 💥Boublr.com | Signature Campaign | Member+ 💥 on: November 17, 2019, 01:34:45 PM
i on the other hand, see it in another way, i don't know if it is scam or not but i see that when a signature campaign finally comes out that is not managed by Hhampuz or yahoo62278 which unfortunately has a monopoly here, users who wear their signature do everything to discredit the manager by filling it with red trust and threatening the same thing for the eventual participants, compliments to the closed group and to the free opinion

Start educating yourself on what is a scam and Ponzi scheme it's 100% scam if you want to see other similar sites go to the scam section
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0.
There's no monopoly here it's still up to the administrator or the owner of the project who he wants to manage his campaign, it just so happens that these managers are good and all the campaign they've manage now and in the past are all good, I'll have no second thought if I have a campaign and I'm looking for a bounty manager.
6373  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Boublr - 200% after 100 hours (doubler) on: November 17, 2019, 12:49:11 PM
I just knew that it will land here because it deserves to be here, and no one is applying either, people here are wiser now, we don't want another Ponzi scheme using members and this forum to scam people, it will be a bad precedent if we let them.
Now these Ponzi operators, will have a second thought, promoting their project here or doing a signature campaign.
6374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 6 on: November 17, 2019, 11:03:37 AM
Let's get this started already! Currently on a mixed mood right now. LoL. I wonder how many users will participate this week after starting on an early day.

So here, what if if a certain platform gives a random time for free bets within a minute, would you stay awake and online just to participate on that lucky event? Besides you'll never know you might hit the jackpot after you make all the bets within a minute.
Somewhere like this:
"In this month, we will be having a free bet on a minute just stay tuned for we will hit it randomly and it will be made only 3times as a whole"

Now you guys, hit it!

There's no guaranty of the exact hour so it means you will have to stay tuned for 24 hours, online gambling sites is a 24 hours business, it will harm your performance if you have a job, and even your health if you stay long glued to your computer, I don't go for that kind of promotion, it's considered harmful and I only spend 2 to 3 hours in gambling, I can take any type of promotion but not this one.
6375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 16, 2019, 06:14:22 PM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?

You did not mention if this is in dollar or on your local currency, but if it is in dollar, that's a big amount my advice is to get it in the top coin in the market, for maximum profit, since you are going to invest it in the next 6 months, and that will be in time for the halving and probable bull run, but always remember you are investing still in a volatile market, there is still a risk involved, get always updated in the market situation.
6376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 16, 2019, 05:01:24 PM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?

I hate KYC AND there are so many good projects and opportunities that have passed, because of KYC, I have horrible experiences, on these airdrops and bounty campaigns in the past they only want our infos and they have no intention to continue their projects or platforms.
I don't think they will ever replace or do away with KYC, because it's the government's requirements for these crowdfunding projects and exchanges to operate, and this is the only way to track people's money.
6377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 16, 2019, 02:39:05 PM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.

This is one of my favorite section and this is where I gave a trust rating and merits to some members who are very active in that section, we owed a lot to people like Jollygood, Coolcryptovator who takes times and effort to expose these scam projects, I will not be surprised if they have many haters among scammers but we should support these guys, they makes thins easy for investors and bounty hunters.
6378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 16, 2019, 01:42:04 PM
Enjoying and fun, to escape even for a short period of time on the many issues and hustle of daily routines, when you once feel how is it feel to be excited and have fun playing the dice and the roulette, you wish to get back from time to time, but I know there is a trap if I am not careful with the way I play, so I make sure that I allocate  with funds that I can afford to lose, so I would not regret later.
Sometimes I win and when I do I kept in for my bet the next day.
6379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 12:12:31 PM

Crypto enables online casinos to perform their operations in a somewhat anonymous fashion. Both the gambler and the owner benefits from this. But I understand that crypto is still not accepted at physical casinos. In this regard, Fiat is the winner.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh
Maybe not now, but definitely it's going to happen gambling is first to adopt Cryptocurrency, online gambling sites now, tomorrow offline gambling sites, although it's very easy for online gambling casinos to adopt Cryptocurrency because it's both advantageous for gamblers and gambling operators, but gambling casinos operators offline will find a system that can easily adopt Crypto.

This project is Nigerian base because they mentioned funding Naira which is Nigeria official currency, I have nothing against Nigerian but this is a Ponzi scheme and it has no place here in Cryptocurrency, after the Onecoin and Bitconnectcoin fiasco, people will stay away with Ponzi, I hope people will moderate their greed and will not temp to take part on their giveaway, which will end up useless.
