6362  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: July 05, 2016, 01:20:03 PM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.
There is not much that I can think off but to buy as many of them because $1 for a Bitcoin is nothing to what the price is now at the moment.
I think that so many people would do it that there would be no Bitcoins left to buy because of the price being so low.
but i think if bitocin coming down to 1 dollar then there must be a serious problem with bitcoin. i think no one will be interested in bitcoin. people will be more cautious about trading in bitocin in such a low price, because they will have lost their confident at that time.

I dont think bitcoin can fall to $1. The only exception to this is that the world is in crisis and maybe a world-war and all the currencies have zero or no value left.

What a nightmare that would be.
6363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 05, 2016, 01:14:28 PM
Transactions are too slow. Will someone fix it or do we need a better coin?

Agreed !! Transaction in bitcoin are very slow it takes too much time, If this problem is solved then many people get their money on time and  use their money on time where they want to spend.

Although bitcoin transaction are slow sometimes and it take 6 confirmations to complete, but most merchants online accept the payment on 1 confirmation only.
6364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So is Bitcoin a SAFE Asset? on: July 05, 2016, 01:13:04 PM
Yes it's safe, as in your BTC will be the same amount of BTC and it will not get stolen from you unless you are incompetent in managing your own money.
But of course as far as price goes, it fluctuates a lot but that is expected because the marketcap is still tiny.

Bitcoin is safe unless and until you are careless with your pass-phrase . keep your bitcoins in a desktop wallet and they will be save forever.
6365  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online... on: July 05, 2016, 01:07:45 PM
First Suggestion would be Participating in signature campaign if you are a good and high quality poster of the forum and have knowledge about bitcoin and bitcoin related things. you can join a signature campaign and earn 15 to 20$ each week which is not bad. and 300% batter than any signature campaign.
Trading also a good way to earn money. but needs lots of more knowledge and investment.
and offer your skills and service as a freelancer in service section.

He says it all. Signature campaigns are a good way to start, trading isn't that difficult either, but you need to be smart whilst trading.
Bitcoin has opened up doors to a lot of opportunities, it shouldn't be difficult to find your own way to make steady income using bitcoins.

Signature campaigns are a good and steady way of earning the money, provided that one can write quality posts and has good english writing skills.
6366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: July 05, 2016, 01:06:30 PM
what problem do you have in bitcoin.
For me there are two quite big issues with Bitcoin:

First of all, is the increased transaction confirmation time.

Secondly, the fact that Bitcoin isn't widely used in the world.

Only time will tell if these issues will go away.  Smiley

Low level of confidence, awaiting 6 confirmations and bla bla bla.  I have friends who had experienced more than 24 hour delay in the transaction.  This is one big problem to be hurdled.

Yes, consider you are in grocery shop standing in a queue of people at a bill counter and waiting for the confirmations. Thats way too long for a real time processing. This can be a big problem in the future.
6367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 05, 2016, 11:32:31 AM
Are dollars used for illegal activities?
i think not only dollar but all other currencies either these are local currencies or crypto currencies, they may be used for both good and bad activities. i think they need is to stop the ill legal activities with out arguing that for what kind of activities the currencies are use for.

All currencies can be used for illegal activities but cryto-currencies support more illegal activities that the identity of a person doing illegal activity is not disclosed.
6368  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has a woman created Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2016, 11:26:30 AM
Gender is really not important when it comes to bitcoin, who ever would have created we should be thankful for creating such an innovative and creative currency which is helping us in best way.

You are right. Gender is not important when it come to creation or discoveries but i think that bitcoin creator was a male. Women are not so interested in such activities and cant create such great inventions.
6369  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 05, 2016, 11:24:23 AM
It is not very smart to teach children about the bitcoin because they dont know anything about money so you need to explain them what money is after that you can tell
them things about the bitcoin before that is not going to happen with my kids because kids are to young to understand the true value.

Kids does not know the true value of money and earning money or bitcoins  at an early age may not be beneficial for them.
They should focus on studies.
6370  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 05, 2016, 11:14:08 AM
Shaping up as big year

Cheesy
It is still a question if 2017 is going to be the year of the Bitcoin because we cannot look in to the future so we can only speculate about it.
But even speculating about it is not going to bring us anywhere because to much can happen in the mean time which will change the price.

I know 2017 is going to be a year of bitcoin. I can say that I already see the good effect of it early as today.
As the price did fluctuate very fast last month and went slowly again.
But for me, that is enough already and we see more next year.

I think This 2016 is a better year for Bitcoin because we have halving this year and it will be a great time for bitcoin to make more progress.

6372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Final countdown [10 Days before the halving] on: June 29, 2016, 06:22:17 PM
I think when the entire industry is expecting the halving to make bitcoin skyrocket, it will actually fall. Expect the unexpected.

Yes, the price will increase for sure. Exciting times ahead.
6373  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: June 29, 2016, 06:04:36 PM
Bitcoins are not safe at all because the only thing i hear is that allot of people get rid of their coins some in a stupid way ok but most of them cant do anything
about it and that is not what we want to happen in the future when the price of the bitcoin will hit the highest score.

No, i dont agree. Bitcoins are always safe and will stay forever.
6374  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 29, 2016, 06:00:29 PM

You can also change the system thru gold to digital currency. So I think it is just a matter of era. Where in era where technology is the main thing we refer for our daily life and that will be adopted in the future. So as what like you said, barter system replaced to money and in the future money will be replace to digital currency.

It's not an easy as 1,2,3 even we count for many decades that won't happen.

Even how strong the technology is, it can't be applied globally and that is the reality.

Paper money is been there for centuries and you cant say it will be ended soon. It will take time for this to happen. or maybe it will never happen.

6376  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 29, 2016, 04:58:36 PM
I am not too active in my bitcoins right now, as I feel it will hold more value at halving, so I am saving it but sometimes I do spend it on gambling but a very little amount.

Yeah damn gambling. It is impossible to stop it. There is always a way to go back. Now that it is easily accessed through a computer with internet you can do it whenever you want.

Same as me spending it in gambling but not all.

Once you know that you can gamble with bitcoins very easily, it becomes really difficult to stay away from it, but now we cannot afford to gamble and loose our coins.
Gambling is one of the reasons why people uses bitcoins and they are the most spenders of bitcoins. I think the gambling sites are really earning bigger profits and that is evident by the increasing number of online casinos operating.

I really agree with you. Gambling is the most reason why i actively spend my bitcoins because i'm a gambler and always gambling with bitcoin everyday.

i also gamble with bitcoins as it is easy to make money from gambling.
6377  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: June 29, 2016, 04:57:25 PM
Bitcoin is stable nowdays around $650 for 3 days, i think this price will stay stable till halving and then it's shold start decreasing, correct me if i'm worng.
I think It's a bored weeks for bitcoin, the price looks dont want to moved like a slight stuck on the range $600-$650. i hope this will not goes for a long time because now is near to halving.

bored? i have made enough profit while trading against the volatility, so i'm not sure why you think it's boring. maybe because the price isn't moving closer to $800 or $1000? just have patience.

Even the price of bitcoin not closer to $700. The bitcoin's price is decreasing right now, but i hope it will continuous rising soon like 1 week ago.

It will take some time for the price to rise again. It has already raised from 420 to 650$ now.
6378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ? on: June 29, 2016, 04:55:47 PM
In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000 then dropped to $200 & steady for a long time
So, growth = $10 X 20 = $200

Simple calculation

After this halving price will go $200 X 20 = $4000 ?

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

Your calculation is broken Cheesy  Don't forget the dump factor.  There is some thread here about Fund house.  So this is the group who holds a huge amount of BTC.  Your calculation will easily be broken if this house decide to dump all their holdings Cheesy  And don't forget the exploit factor plus bad press too.  So basically it is really hard to calculate the Bitcoin price after the halving for it is all speculations.

You cannot calculate the bitcoin price of the future as the price change is very frequent and unexpected.
