6361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 21, 2021, 10:07:03 PM
^^ That ML for Linares is really that attractive, but I will not bite on that. It's too early, maybe it was a trap set by punters to lure us to bet early for the underdogs. He is supposedly has the potential to derail Haney's plan. Even with he fought Loma, that's what also the mentality, sabotaged Loma next big fight. So he almost stop Loma, keyword is "almost", because after he knock down Loma, the complexion of the fight has change. So maybe the same outcome here, Linares fights strong early and then Haney wins by decision.

Current odds:

@1.08 for Haney
@6.60 for Linares
6362  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 21, 2021, 12:08:46 PM

NYK (-1.5)
Nets - ML @2.18
Bulls (-1.5)

Goodluck ulit.
6363  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Nosedive from $60K to $52K in 15 Minutes on: April 20, 2021, 11:31:16 PM

6364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the developments currently trending in crypto? on: April 20, 2021, 10:45:01 PM
Right now I see a lot of people who enter Crypto forums to be able to get profit through some cryptocurency.
Are virtual assets like BTC still promising even though the years have changed?

LOL, are you questioning bitcoin when in the last 10 years it has given investment x folds of returns.

For the trend though, NFT and swap and staking and DEFI are talking the market by storm. It's one way of making huge amount of money right now. You just need to be in the right place at the right time.
6365  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 20, 2021, 10:21:54 PM

6366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sicodice.com surprised me!! bitcoin dogecoin dice on: April 20, 2021, 09:58:34 PM
As others have said, the account is really dubious promoting such sites that no one has heard before, and maybe this is Don't get tricked by hidden spam on this forum.
6367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stock to Flow Model the most accurate prediction of all models saying 82k May on: April 20, 2021, 09:39:36 PM
Yeah, I would say it's pretty much accurate modelling tool, but you have to look at it for long term and not for short term trading. In any case, read this thread by @fillippone - Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity.
6368  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could Bitcoin go this time? after all good news is out on: April 18, 2021, 03:32:32 PM
any idea?

No one has the crystal ball and see what the future brings. I guess this is just another dip in this bull cycle. FUD, negative news might affect the price short term, but with the way institutions and retail investors are pouring their money on bitcoin right now. I doubt that this correction will last long. We still have the $50k support, very big support. So most likely it will hold and at the start of the week, we might see some positive movement. So no need to panic and push that sell button.
6369  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 18, 2021, 02:55:59 PM

NYK - ML @1.88 or (-1.5)
Nets - (-3.5)
Portland (-4.5)

Goodluck sa tin ulit.
6370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Miners Total Stopped Selling Bitcoins on: April 18, 2021, 02:13:17 PM
Miners Total Stopped Selling Bitcoins, they simply not selling at this price.

https://ibb.co/kx66VKZ

We going up Wink

79k

What are you taking about here. We are not going up, we are not going down  Cheesy

79K...No Way, its 50K lolzz

There is always someone who will sell at the top and create the panic. People might be looking for the news and reason for the dump, the fact is some whales took the profit at 60K and bought back at 50k.

Perhaps the OP spoke to soon, the market in the last 12 hours went down hard to $52k-$54k because of some unconfirmed tweets. Nevertheless, it's not a perfect time for the miners to sell, probably they will get even with the recent turn of events.

So let's see start of next week, I have a feeling that this negative movement will be over as institutions are going to scope more bitcoins in the next couple of days.
6371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: April 17, 2021, 11:01:04 PM
So to answer "more pump?", yes, more pump, more pump for many years. Super cycle is starting, being driven by long term institutional adoption of Bitcoin.

Yes, this is more likely what's going to happen if Microstrategy or other financial institutions are going to invest billions into bitcoin. Yes they are rich, but they are very smart investors as well and that's spells the difference on rich individual getting richer and us average joe trying to get rich. So bitcoin is a good opportunity that we should take advantage of. We could see one super cycle or two big ones in this post halving alone.
6372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 17, 2021, 10:36:37 PM
I am waiting on this fight to release in the betting site so that I will be able to bet on Ryan Garcia or what they called King Ryan of the ring. King Ryan will be the crowd choice for sure in which he is really so popular although Javier Fortuna is also popular but if it will be based on the record then the vote of the people will be to King Ryan and for me also I think he will be the one to win in this fight. Still waiting for this fight to be release in the betting sites.

Are you going to bet on ML for King Ryan? because for sure it won't be that attractive once sports betting sites release the initial odds. So I would advise you to wait for more betting odds instead of rushing on your bet, just saying.

Other betting odds such as per round would be good for Ryan, I'm expecting Ryan to be 1.1x-1.3x favourite early when the lines open.

yeah, am guessing sportsbooks will give such range of odds that you wont bother placing your bet on because it is not worth to place with. the per round odds maybe more attractive for bettors.
once these bookies released their odds, we will know what are their sentiments towards this fight. but more then likely, garcia will be the heavy favourite here.

That's right, as this is a highly anticipated fight, I'm sure most of our favourite sports bookies are going to cover it and will released the odds much earlier so that we can all put our bet ahead of the fight. Garcia will be the odds favourite no doubt about that, and so ML is not that worth because of the low returns. But for more entertaining and attractive odds, I also like the "per round" betting, only it's very difficult to get it right, but if you are lucky enough you can get it and win big.
6373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Google on: April 17, 2021, 10:15:31 PM
Yea, doesn't make sense for Google to be compared to Bitcoin though, two very distinct, a search engine company and a commodity, market valuation can also be a bit misleading specially in crypto currency. If there will be something for bitcoin to be compared of, it will be gold.
6374  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 17, 2021, 12:45:45 PM

Sayang.

Jazz (-6.5)
Bulls (-1.5)
Washington (-3.5)

6375  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin correction thread. on: April 16, 2021, 11:06:59 PM

Lumagpas na nga tayo sa $60k this month, so kung tuloy tuloy ang trend, baka mag $100k at the end of the year. So kapit lang sa mga nakatago nating bitcoin diyan at sa tingin ko eh mahaba haba pa tong bull run na to. Although may correction tayong nangyari ngayon dahil sa napabalitang pagsabog o sunog sa bitcoin mining sa China, Bitcoin Crashes After Accident in Xinjiang, China Halts Mining Operation.
6376  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 16, 2021, 10:31:37 PM
Where it will stop it is not sure but if we think about current price of bitcoin in the market, within some days bitcoin may cross the land mark of $100k. Price isn't suitable for us to buy but after some days, it will tough to buy a little amount. So we should enter the market right now.

No clear sign about the bear since even if certain bearish market hit btc easily recover so maybe let's assume that we can see more btc bullish market until the end of this month, but let see what performance could possibly bring up on next month since hopefully we can see it more aggressively pumping the same these days.
Already anticipating for some bearish trend on next months to come, its a bit unusual for this run to be that long or shall we say that it isnt something similar back in the past.

For now im waiting up for that moment but it seems that the market is way too positive for me to wait up for possible dip or hard correction. Bitcoin is playing around 58k and 63k.

We dont know if we would eventually break 65k until goes to 70k which would really be that possible for this year if the said movement would continue in gradual phase.

Well the momentum has put into hold for now as there are Bitcoin Crashes After Accident in Xinjiang, China Halts Mining Operation.

So no $65k-$70k this week, this explosion has affected the hash rate and obviously the price as there could be some investors who panic upon hearing this year. But we are still in the positive for this month, reaching new all time high. Just another unexpected hiccup because of the news but we are still holding up around the $60k support levels.
6377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 16, 2021, 10:00:56 PM
To honest and dont offend those Garcia supporters but I don’t really like Ryan Garcia, he’s too young but his ego is too much for his age. He’s been spending his time training and making vlogs but every time I watch, I cringe. You can always feel how arrogant this guy is.

On the other hand, I’m not that familiar with Javier Fortuna. Never watched even a single of his match. But he looks capable of winning.

But technically, Ryan Garcia’s fighting style is actually good. So I would place my side with him for now. It’s just that, him showing off is attracting bad luck to his career. But we will see.

Hehe, that's pretty normal for kids nowadays. Yup, i agree with you that Ryan Garcia has cockiness in him but the good thing about that is he can back it up inside the ring whenever he goes up for a fight.

Might work for his advantage as it's also additional marketing for himself just like the style of Floyd Mayweather. The more haters, the more people watching not because they are a fan but they are watching because they want to see him lose.

Garcia seem to be good in selling himself, @ReiMomo, you didn't notice that he already attract your attention and you would want to watch his fight hoping he will loss. lol.. Garcia minus his cockiness, he is still a great fighter, he is a reason to boost because he has that "0",,, and what I like about him is he want to big fight which other fighters are afraid to maintain their undefeated record.

That's the strength of this kid, he really knows now to sell himself, his twitter + instagram account alone bolstered of more than 1 millions subscribers fans already. The kid has talent and for now he can talk like that to any the fighters he face because he can proved it. His is making his statement win, Duno fall, Luke Campbell although he was knock down, was able to get from the canvass and then finished Luke. So yeah similar to Floyd's cockiness and brandish boxing. And then if he knock out Fortuna his stock will soar again.

What only made him different from Floyd is that he is not dodging a fighter, he even challenges champions to fight him, even with higher ranking or standing that him, so that's one of the reason why despite of his cockiness, I still like Ryan Garcia.

as long as he is not trash talking, thats fine with me. he has the guts to challenge big names because he feel he has the power to fight them. and i guess, he really has it. selling himself without ruining others' reputation is fine.
interesting what odds will the bookies give to this match???

I'm sorry to tell you but the kid is trash talking,

Quote
Garcia then dipped into history to pull one of the all-time classic quotes in boxing history, telling Davis, "You too ugly to be champ. And that's from Muhammad Ali. Boy, I'm pretty. You ain't never seen nothing like me. I promise you, you gonna go down."

https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/ryan-garcia-gervonta-davis-heat-up-rivalry-as-tank-says-we-fighting-next-during-interview-with-mike-tyson/

I think that's how to sell a fights, trash talk your opponents, attack him with your mouth, and ruining him before the fight. But we all know that is is more of a mind games, it's what the others fighters are going to do with it once they hear those smack talks coming from him.
6378  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 16, 2021, 04:47:11 PM
Bucks vs Hawks - Bucks (-5.5).

Ganda siguro ng odds no?

Pistons vs OKC - Pistons na to, (-3.5) @1.95

6379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg predicting BTC reaching $400K in 2021 on: April 15, 2021, 11:21:19 PM
Everyone in the market is crazy bullish right now.  It scares me.  Feels like we're being set up for a maximum pain moment.  I've only seen this sort of momentum a couple times before, so I think mid-term we're still looking at a six figure Bitcoin.  $400K might be pushing it a bit.  No way that's sustainable anytime soon.  The recent price stability below $60K took miners accumulating instead of selling to finally break.  I'm starting to see bubble signs...  I'm still hoping for a best case scenario of another 7 months on this bull run though.

Yeah, I think we are indeed in the bubble territory, but the bullish mentality will continue until we hit $100k and most probably that will be the tipping point for more speculators to either sell or just continue to hold and hope that this bubble will not pop up with the 6 digit performance. So might see another massive increase in the next 7 months, but the big test is when we get to $100k and see how it goes.
6380  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase secures eSports partnerships on: April 15, 2021, 10:54:36 PM
Esports fans are generally young nerdy(-ish) guys, which is coincidentally can be said about crypto enthusiasts, so it's a pretty smart decision from Coinbase to advertise themselves in this field.

Let's just hope that their new customers will learn about "not your keys - not your coins" and will use Coinbase only for buying and selling BTC, and never for long-term storage.

Exactly, is for the young, the old and traditional gamblers like us, still prefer sports betting and the slots games. Anyhow, I would say that this is a win-win situation for us crypto and bitcoin enthusiast, the word could easily spread because of their sponsorship.

And that will be the next step, I'm pretty sure that those nerdy(-ish) will understand the "not your keys, not your keys" paradigm, but for those average young players, it might take some time to get it until it's too late.
