The people at ICG did say that if you request hologram facing forward, they will do it. But they agreed with me that the obverse should face the front normally.
I guess to each his own. The obverse of many of these coins are far less compelling than the hologram side. But...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Then you can flip it over? Just messing w/ya! I hear ya though, it's personal preference. I just think it makes sense to put the front of the coin with the front of the slab.

Hi Ryan: I have had a number of coins slabbed by you guys over the years. For cryptos, can you guys make sure to put the hologram side on the front of the slab? I get half back one way and half back the other. Need to have better consistency here in the slabbing room. The hologram is the key feature of cryptos, so they should go on the front/obverse side. I think most would argue it should be the other way around.

I support a temp ban in ~all cases in which only a small amount of plagiarism is involved AND it happened a long time ago. Plagiarism is undoubtedly both very wrong, and a major problem within the forum, but I don't see the benefit of removing someone who only did damage (plagiarized) years ago, especially if they are now otherwise being a member who is contributing to the forum. No you don’t. You relentlessly went after me when I was trying to come back to the forum as well as when others fighting for me did the same after plagiarizing a couple post during one days time. Your plagiarized posts were not from a long time ago when you were banned, giving you no time to have changed your ways, nor to otherwise contribute to the forum. Further: I'm unaware of what I did wrong.
which does not give me confidence you would not do something similarly harmful to the forum given the opportunity. There was also a high profile fight against plagiarism at the time, and it was well publicized that plagiarism was not acceptable around here. You contradict yourself here as you continued to do so even after Yogg made the thread about me, which was almost a year later. I had also had a sizable history before doing so and after being caught doing so. It was a couple months later that I was banned. It was suggested I say “I’m unaware of what I did wrong”. I knew very little about Meta at the time, and had no idea what to say. So I asked a few people for advice. I also wasn’t sure it was about plagiarism because I thought that had been settled. I can see why you’d feel that way from that statement though. I shouldn’t have even brought this up. Sorry to derail here.

Thanks LoyceV! Watching my trust list to see who added/removed me is my guilty pleasure and something I look forward to each week!
Like me removing you ? lol. I went back to default trust, and I hate how it shows I “removed” people from my trust list, like I distrust them or something. I wish it’d say “user selected DT” or something like that. Regardless LoyceV does do a great job here and throughout the forum, period. Would love to see them become a Moderator.

OP- it seems you’ve been a great member to this forum otherwise. I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. 99% of plagiarists here don’t deserve a second chance as they’re just here to make money, shit-post, and spread FUD (and you know that and it eats you up inside). Just remain positive here. You and I had no one to blame but ourselves. It seems the community as a whole wants to see you back, and even Hilarious gave you a vote of confidence. Theymos has mentioned how if you feel someone who’s been banned deserves a second chance, then start a thread and make the case for them. Maybe someone who knows you well could do so? I would also take Hilarious’s advice about contacting Theymos. I wish you luck, I know how much this sucks.

I'll be transparent in saying I paid 1BTC to acquire this piece. I'd hope the community would have respect for BG4 and the process that goes into making a secure paper wallet.
This really has nothing to do with the creator at this point. A low ball bid is a bit disrespectful to the seller however. Good luck with your sale.

So $5 bucks and we got ourselves a deal right? Thanks for sharing! Edit -OP btw, Bitcoin Nerd who made the 10k pizza also made a Genesis Block 1g version. 2nd Edit- Nasty Fans made I believe 3 different versions. At least two I know that much.

I have another 0.5 Casacius coin. its a brass one. One of the very last ones sold my Mike. It comes with mikes Signature PDF showing a pic of the coin on it.
Im looking for 1 btc for it. I appreciate some of you will say 0.75-0.8 is more probable. but I bought this for my son hes 2 years old. so I dont need to liquidate it for ages yet! however I like the idea of digital funds for liquidity reasons.
Will post pics soon.
Yeah just to be honest with you, not one person here will buy that for 1BTC. I totally understand putting it up for sale though.. "If it sells awesome, if not oh well". Good luck w/sale.

That's what im talking about! I too would like one! If you have any luck with OgNasty let me know, Im sure that one is a bit steeper then $3-$5 but i like it! Do you have any others? Know of other's? Lol yeah it's going to cost you more than $5. They made a decent amount of them, but they did so long ago that they are harder to come by. They don't really have a market price since they're not ever brought up for sale

Very cool!
Whether an auction or sale, IMO it depends on the mintage. Low mintage auction, higher mintage sale. Just my 2 satoshis.

1 Oz silver American Eagle coins with ruthenium plating. 4 types of coins made in this series. The maker told me he “doesn’t know the exact mintage” (bullshit), but he believes it to be around 300 per coin. (Pictures my own and from maker)

Glass murrine or millefiori by artist Josh Ford. These are extremely difficult to make from what I’ve been told. I was going to create a glass coin to bring to the forum, as I’ve got a very talented buddy who blows glass for a living. He said he would not be able to make something this well. So I ended up deciding against, but it goes to show the level of difficulty to make.

Send him a DM. He gets an alert on the email that he set the account up with. He doesn’t reply, what else could you have done? If he cares enough, he’s going to read this thread and see that you’ll be sending him a message w/your email.
