I suggest bitcoin cash for you. Despite the deep falls in cryptocurrency this year, I still see bitcoin cash as a good investment because it has proven to be good enough in terms of how the people are talking about the coin. More investors are coming to invest in it because the full potentials of the coin have not yet been uncovered. Bitcoin is also a great investment one could do considering its all-time high last year. And a critical look at the market suggests it is a typical pnd that people are doing on the market.

I like the whole idea of a cashless society but if you look into it critically, we need some form of fiat to make things easy in life for us. Even though people are speculating about the ability to interfere with blockchain without the internet connection, it will be difficult to handle cashless societies. I do not think banks will disappear in any way. They may plan to adopt blockchain technology but to just disappear.

What I know about price manipulation is just like the normal pump and dump everyone knows. People who have larger volumes of bitcoins manipulate the price based on how they want it to be. So they sell more bitcoins when they want to drop the price and buy more when they want the price to increase. There may be something else described as price manipulation but with what I just said, it is very likely people can manipulate the price.

I really support the OP. We spread the news about the heavy fall in the price of bitcoin forgetting it has really seen a massive increment since its inception. We should take it as a normal event happening because even with our fiats, it does happen and no one talks so badly as we do when crypto in general starts to drop drastically. Let's have the habit of making bitcoin have a real use case than making it sound like it is a pnd coin.

I will say new investors directly affect the prices of the coin. That is how the market is made to work and the more investors we have, the higher the price and vice versa. This has more influence on new people also investing. So in general, when the prices are going up, they keep going up and when going down, they are going down, they keep going down as fewer investors will cause a panic sell.

The market is very unpredictable these days but I am hopeful that in the next few days, the market will start recovering. It is common to see the market very down prior to a major pump so I am hopeful that the market will recover soon.

Mining will not stop as the question was asking but rather some people will quit mining for not gaining enough money from it which does not necessarily means the whole mining process is stopped. Without mining, most transactions on the blockchain will be impossible it won't stop entirely but individual miners who do not gain a lot from mining will stop.

Bitcoin will indeed remain dominant. This is because it is the best medium of exchange from cryptocurrency to the other. The bitcoin dominance is something that no one can change as we all attest to it that locally, bitcoin is exchanged for fiat.
The higher people continue to use bitcoin, the higher the possibility that it will remain dominant and recently, the most traded coin on the market is bitcoin.

Some ICOs fail because everything about them proves they are a scam project. They use fake profiles and claim they are the one. If people get to know it is a lie, they won't support the project. Again, the work of the marketing staff is very crucial in ICOs.
when they fail to partner with already trusted people, it is difficult for people to trust them and invest in their ICO.

When it comes to cryptocurency dealings, I will choose Japan and China as the best influential countries in Asia and even the whole crypto world. Most of the big mining companies are situated in China and Japan as well making it very influential when it comes to bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general.
