641  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: December 18, 2023, 08:05:52 PM
I have the same opinion with you many insurance companies become scam and easily run away how much user money without responsibility yet although we are joining with government insurance. In my country have government insurance with saving protect but when collapse they are not refund yet and many of the CEO and staff take much money until under rest.

That is why insurance companies have to be very regulated. Every financial institution should be heavily regulated. They can only disappear with customer's funds because there is no proper system. They should have a certain amount stored with the regulatory bodies. That money would be used to setting customers in case the company folds.
To me, insurance is an integral part of the economy. When there's no insurance a lot of things that can be avoided happen.
We can't trust people to be good people, so a system will exist to monitor everything including insurance fraud and other forms of fraud.

It's called a public key for a reason. If you're someone that has large amounts and it's a potential victim to hackers, it's always advisible to keep that address to yourself. Have other addresses that you use to receive money then transfer those coins to the other address yourself. That way even if the transaction you transaction is public, people can't trace that address back to you because nobody knows it's yours and you've never dropped it anywhere online.

Nobody that doesn't have the private keys of an address can know how much is in that particular address, but I agree that you can be a target if hackers see that a particular address makes a large amount of transactions and they can trace that address back to you if you've ever published it online.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Forces of Inflation: Turkey's Central Bank Boss Will Move In With Her Parent on: December 17, 2023, 09:50:14 PM
It is a statement made to say "I'm also in the same boat with you." However it isn't factual.

Exactly! She's not in the same boat with them. She's rich as hell. Worst case scenario she leaves the country for a different country where she would live peacefully for the rest of her life. I'm sure nobody is truly going to believe that she can't afford rent. If a person of her status can't afford rent that means more than half of the country can't afford rent.
Although, if she has good intentions, this gesture can have a positive impact. It can help the people be calm and trust that the government is working to fix the country. The "we're in this together" gesture helps people relax knowing that they're not alone in a God-forsaken situation.
When a country gets to the level Turkey is at, it's always the middle class and lower class that feels it the most, not the top people in government r government institutions.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: December 17, 2023, 06:56:35 PM
Feyenoord won their game against Heracles so easy, 4:0 probably don't even reflect the game. Stats of game better reflect their dominace. Twente unexpectedly dropped points in Rotterdam against Sparta. It's impressive that Sparta scored 2 goals after one of their players got red card in 1st half. Ajax is leading 2:1 vs Zwolle, 20 minutes remaining, so, ending might be interesting if Ajax won't score 3rd goal.
I put some money on PSV, don't expect much from AZ. Maybe I understimate them too much, but for me they're not looking great and I'm surprised that they still hold 4th place with just 1 point behind Twente.

All my predictions today were off. I got only the Feyernoord game right. I expected Feyernoord to win easily and they did.
I didn't expect Almere City to thrash Vitesse that way. Since both of them are teams battling in the relegation zone, I expected it to be a close match. It's just goes ahead to show how bad Vitesse is. I didn't predict that many goals, I thought it would be a 1-1 draw.
Also expected Ajax to win. When they equalized and took the lead, I thought they would scored more, but again I was wrong. Zwolle scored again to make it 2-2.

I'm going to predict the last game of today again and hopefully I'll get this one correct. I don't know the exact score line but I'll give PSV the win. PSV to win but Alkmaar will score. Maybe a 3-1 in favor of PSV.

So you think that luck exists and that it doesn't just happen? Friends, I have some bad news for you: hoping for "luck" is as out-of-date as dinosaurs in the world of crypto and the modern economy. But, I suppose you're right in one sense - hard work does unearth opportunities that one might mistakenly attribute to "luck"

I actually believe in luck, not in the sense that you won't work hard but I believe luck has to compliment your hard work. Some people get a pinch of good luck and all their hard work starts to show. I believe we have to work hard as if luck doesn't exist because it would be foolish to rely on luck, but I also believe there is something like luck in life.
Some were lucky enough to be born into wealthy families, they didn't have to work hard to earn that. Some hard businesses are handed over to them, even if they worked hard for it, if they weren't born into it, they won't get that no matter how hard they work.
There's a difference between hard work unearthing opportunities and being lucky.
646  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 16, 2023, 01:35:35 AM
Yes, I still use the banks. I still use fiat and as far as you fiat you still use the banks because it's the banks that distribute the fiat you use. How am I going to use only Bitcoin when a lot of people and businesses don't accept btc?
For a person to use only Bitcoin then everybody he deals with is digital and also accepts Bitcoin and currently, it's very difficult to see that. It's easier to use Bitcoin online to fund casino accounts and pay for other services, but offline, very few people accept Bitcoin.
Currently, it takes less time for a fiat transaction to be completed than a Bitcoin transaction except you're ready to pay the network fee.

Casemiro is said to be a target by PSG and Al-Hilal now. You know he has been quite far away from his old performances recently. This is why Manchester United are said to be thinking of parting ways with him. His time with injury didn't end up well for him. He is still a quality player but he needs to improve his effort much more than this.

This is part of the reason I keep saying PSG is not a very well-run club. PSG should have no reason to be interested in Casemiro. He is no longer what he used to be. PSG should be looking to sign better DMs like Zubimendi and Rodri. See how Casemiro is performing now in Man United, he is not at his best and I doubt he will ever get to that best again.
If I were Casemiro, I'd go to Al Hilal. He would play very well there because they have some very good players too that will complement him, plus the added advantage of being paid well.

Manchester United need new signings. They need a good DM because to me both Amrabat and Casemiro can't get the job done. Aside from the DM, they need good CMs that can hold the ball and distribute the ball very well. If they don't make good signings they'll continue to suffer.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 15, 2023, 05:54:55 AM
Nottingham Forest Vs Tottenham Hotspur
Today's match is expected to be a tough challenge for Nottingham Forest, as Tottenham Hotspur have been in good form lately. However, Nottingham Forest will be keen to put in a strong performance in front of their home fans. It remains to be seen whether Steve Cooper can keep his job if Forest don't improve their results soon, but for now, all focus will be on trying to secure a positive result against Tottenham. The chances of both teams scoring in the match are very high. I think Tottenham can take the match 2-1.

I don't see Nottingham getting a positive result out of this one. Tottenham has dropped too many points lately and I don't think they'll drop any points today. They need to fight their way back up to the top and Nottingham won't be able to stop them. Nottingham Forest don't play very well now while the opposite is the case for Tottenham. They play very well and constantly attack. Their defense is the only problem they face right now.

Aside the Liverpool vs Manchester game, the game I'm looking forward to this weekend is Arsenal vs Brighton. I'll like to see if the Aston Villa loss would affect Arsenal negatively. Most times when a team in high spirit loses a game, everything goes downhill from there. I hope that's not the case for Arsenal, but we know Brighton, they always put up a fight and they play well too. For sure it's going to be an interesting game. I believe both teams are going to score.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 15, 2023, 05:44:56 AM
I noticed that both Freiburg and West Ham United are playing really well. It seems like they are equally good, and when we look at the Group A table, we see that they are both at the top. This means they are performing at the same level in the competition. Now, since it's West Ham's home game, I think they might have a better chance of winning.

I expected Freiburg to get at least a goal in that game. Considering the fact they're very good goal scorers and they have scored a lot of goals in this tournament, they should have had at least a goal. Two first half goals from West Ham made me sure that more goals would come in the second. I knew West Ham had a better chance of winning since they're at home, so I wasn't expecting a win from Freiburg.

Everyone were expecting Liverpool to win easily, but after Liverpool have show their lineup before the match, it makes people think St.Gilloise will win.

What Klopp did was exactly what I would have done in his position. They play Manchester United at home this weekend and he has a premier league top spot to maintain so I don't see why they should play with so much intensity and energy in this game. Aside the United game they have, this was an opportunity to rest his players. Liverpool players need a lot of rest because the premier league gets really intense during this holiday period and if they can stay on top of the table till next year that would really motivate them to remain on top till the end of the season.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 14, 2023, 02:50:02 PM
If we talk about who has the opportunity to reach the final of the 8 teams that were thrown out of the champions league, only AC Milan, good team good history in European competition, especially in the champions league.
But my prediction this season in the final Bayern Leverkusen vs Liverpool.
This season leverkusen's appearance is very extraordinary, both in the bundesliga and in the europa league.
Leverkusen's performance this season is still better than Ac Milan.

The group stage of the Europa is not even over, they've not played the round of 32, they've not played the round of 16, so it will be very difficult to tell which team will play the quarter-finals, let alone the final. The Europa league is more unpredictable than the champions league. In the Europa league a small team can win the Europa but in the champions league, it's usually a big team.
Last season people had eyes on Juventus and Arsenal to win the cup but neither of them made it to the final. We might have eyes on certain teams but don't be surprised to see that those teams would be knocked out in the next round. This is why I love the Europa league. It's usually filled with teams of the same capabilities so there's hardly ever a favorite.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 14, 2023, 01:52:32 PM
If you look at the statistical data, Barcelona should be able to beat Velencia because this club is not very strong, especially as Velencia is not in good condition lately and has experienced 3 defeats from the last 5 matches. I think Barcelona can take advantage of opportunities when Velencia's condition is not good and I am sure Barcelona is capable achieved victory in this match.

With the way Barcelona play recently, they're very unreliable and inconsistent. They can win one match and lose or the other. There's no doubt that they play well, they create chances but they usually miss them. They are the team that has missed the most big chances in La Liga so far. They can't continue like that if they want to compete for the league.
Valencia may not be in a good form, but they also know that they can cause harm on the counter.
Aside from the fact that Barcelona finds it difficult to score, another issue is that Barcelona also concede too many cheap goals. This is why they lost the Girona game and still why they lost to Antwerp. You can't keep conceding 3 and 4 goals to teams like Girona and Royal Antwerp. The defense has not figured out how to deal with the overlapping of Cancelo and Balde and even when Kounde plays on the RB, Cancelo leaves a lot of space in behind for the defenders to deal with, plus have to stop making silly mistakes.

For someone like me I don't take PSG anymore serious than I used to as they have been really disappointing in the champions league previous competition's, you see them raise fans hope from the beginning only to get it shattered in the middle of the competition with the manner of squad they have always possessed in their team.

PSG would still disappoint in the champions league this season. It's what they do. The problem is they don't have a balanced squad to me. It's not just about having expensive players in one position but having good players in every position. PSG have a good attack but it's not balanced. Their midfield is not balanced, their defense is not balanced.
Yesterday their attack was toothless, if Dortmund had been a bigger team PSG would have lost and not qualified out of the group stage. They don't have a midfield that can control games in big matches. I know that players are expensive right now but you don't always have to break the bank to sign good players. Last season they had a good attack but a very poor midfield and defense. This season, the attack is not as good as last season but it's okay but not technical and clinical enough. Mbappe is the only attacker they can rely on at all times but even him can't score every chance he gets.
I'm not putting any hope on PSG because they only flatter to deceive, but they can't deceive me this time around.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 13, 2023, 08:32:08 PM
I'm seeing that talks of Osimeh's transfer is beginning to get serious. I think it's a no brsiner that he will most definitely leave Napoli after this season but his destination is what is unknown. I hope it's not Chelsea. Chelsea would be a big risk and gamble. He can go there and fit in well or he may be another flop. No matter how good a striker is, if he's not supplied very well he won't succeed and Chelsea currently don't have midfielders or attackers than can do that for him. Enzo is the only Chelsea midfielder that can give good passes in that Chelsea midfield.

Van de Beek should immediately leave and choose a new club rather than staying at a club that no longer needs his services. And it is possible that Manchester United will include him on the list of players for sale next season in order to increase the cost of purchasing new higher quality players. Several Manchester United players have to be sold such as Varane whose playing minutes are now decreasing. Furthermore it is clear that Jadon Sancho will be sold for whatever reason and Juventus is reportedly interested  in acquiring Jadon Sancho services. btw is Anthony Martial also worth selling ? In my opinion it should just be sold not a hospital subscription.

I don't understand what happened to Van de Beek. I loved him so much at Ajax. He seemed like a midfielder that was going to be among the best in his position. He's good on the ball, he can dribble, score and create chances. That Manchester United move was a very wrong move and he should have left the club a long time ago. I wonder why he was still in the club for such a long time. I still believe he's good and if he goes to a club with a system that fits him and a coach that believes in him, he can re-establish himself.

654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Heritage is Some How Spiritual on: December 13, 2023, 04:43:16 PM
What am saying in essence is that football may be hereditary. I believe you may or may not gree to the fact that some football clubs have passed down the spirit of not able to win league titles in as much as the current players of that team tries. They always end up bottling the league at the end.

I don't believe this. I believe a team does well based on planning. Football heritage to me is what that club has offered to football. Take a club like Barcelona for example. They've had legends like Cryuff, Ronaldinho, Pep, Henry and so on to their name. When you're mentioning household names in football you'll call them.
Football heritage is not how club wins the league. If you look, there are teams who have won leagues multiple times that are mid table teams today. If a club bottle's the league, it doesn't mean they don't have football heritage. Arsenal is football heritage but they bottled the league twice; to Leicester and Man City.
Manchester United can't win the league today, but they can be called football heritage.

When a club is very well organized and run, they will win titles or atblesst conoete for it. And a lot of things determine if the club will be well run, finance is a part of it.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 02:16:07 PM
Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

When watching NBA games I like betting on the game because I like the thrills. There's a difference when you just don't care about the result of the game and when you have a bet on the game. I usually bet on the amount of goals in an NBA game so I like them to score more points. If it's a team I like, I can be neutral and just enjoy the game but it has to be a very interesting game.

While in football, if it's there's any team I like that's playing, I can want and enjoy the match without better but uf in neutral in the game I'd prefer to have a bet. Having a bet on the game makes me more invested in that game. If it's a team I support, who is playing I prefer to to bet on the game, let me watch it with a cool head. Lol.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 13, 2023, 11:48:19 AM
can we say that Inter vs Real Sociedad was a truly disappointing match? The Spaniards played well but were more committed to making fouls than playing to win, while Inter were completely absent! I don't understand why Inzaghi made very questionable tactical choices such as keeping out Lautaro Martinez, Barella, Bastoni. It almost seems like he was content not to lose rather than try to win despite having already qualified with two rounds to spare. The other big European teams won't be so happy to find Inter as their opponent in the round of 16

Inter had already qualified, their target was to top the group with a win so it's not a do or die affairs. Inzaghi saw it as an opportunity to rotate his squad and give his players a much desired rest which is a good idea to me. Inter still had good players that should be able to win the match, especially because they were at home. Finishing second in the group is not a bad result, they'll most likely meet a bigger opponent but thwt deesn't mewn they cqbt win.

My guess is that Newcastle will win against AC Milan and Dortmund will end in a draw against PSG.
I'll like this possibility more because I want PSG to be knocked out and I want either of Milan or Newcastle to qualify, but I eont think that would happen. I believe PSG will win Dortmund today.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 12, 2023, 10:36:31 PM
Glazers have spent more on players in recent seasons than every club in the PL except Chelsea. Man Utd fans love to blame the Glazers but the Glazers aren’t spending the money themselves, they’re not buying crap players for massive fees and coaching them.

It's actually surprising when you Manchester United fans always blaming Glazers for all the worst of their club. It's a thing that United know how to do well, they'll pick up a particular person and blame him for everything. Pogba, Mourinho, Maguire, De Gea, Onana, Glazers, etc. I don't know why they always do that. They refuse that they have a bigger problem than just one person. Everything in that club is wrong. What kind of a club gets £100 million to sign a star player that will lead their attack and gets Antony? Make it make sense to me. What kind of a club makes Casemiro their highest paid player? Look at the kind of playera thy have. It's very difficult for Man United to attract big players, not because it's not a big club nor because they can't afford them but because they don't have a sporting project and if they do, they have a very shitty one.
Look at all their midfielder, there's not a single CM that can hold on to the ball and create chances.
Ten Hag has been poor, but considering the kind of squad he has, they shouldn't expect him to do magic. Man United is not a team that can compete at the highest level.
United is not a team that can compete at top level right now.
Their defense, midfield and attack is poor, their coach is bad, their board is bad. Everything is just poor. Now the worst part is, Man United fans don't know the extent to which their club has fallen off, but they will.

Actually, that club should just be sold to a new person. Not somebody like Todd Boehly though, he's clueless too.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2023, 09:18:28 PM
Bayer Leverkusen still stand top, despite facing a whole lot of difficult opponents, Xabi Alonso is cooking something for Leverkusen, can't wait to see them lifting the Bundesliga title. A draw points are for clubs that don't deserved winning and clearly fight for a draw. This was the moment for Borrusia Dortmund to win Bayer Leverkusen this season, they're suppose to be placed the first team to break the unbeaten run of Leverkusen this season. Dortmund messed their chances and allow Leverkusen to draw points with them, because they're in possession of the good qualities and odds of winning.

I honestly don't want to get my hopes up about Leverkusen. I've watched them play and I enjoy how they play but I honestly don't want to hop on their train yet.
Xabi Alonso is doing so well. Look how organized Leverkusen plays. They play very well but I don't think they can hold on to the league for a long time.
They had an opportunity to win against Stuggart this past week but they couldn't win. That was a chance to extend their lead in the league especially after the Bayern game was postponed.
My major doubt with Leverkusen is that even though they haven't lost, they have won only one team in the top 5 this season despite already played against 4 of them. That win was against Leipzig. They drew with Dortmund, Bayern, and Dortmund.
To win the league you have it try and win these top teams because that's the difference maker. If all the top teams win most of their games against smaller teams, the difference would come when they face each other.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 12, 2023, 08:01:53 PM
I agree, although it's easier said than done. When you see gambling as a way to make you become rich or a source of income, you won't be able to follow these principles.
What you said is true but not in cases though.
I'm into sport betting more than other casino games, when I play casino games I usually don't spend much time there, not because I don't want to be an addict or because I'm following any principle to be honest, it's simply because I lose money too fast there. In sport betting, the more you spend time in it, the more you learn and get experience and understand the strength of these teams. It's analytics, and you need to study data to understand analytics. Lol.

But even in sport betting, there's such a thing as unhealthy amount of time. Time when a person could use to be productive, it would be very unwise to spend it all on gambling.

It will be a shame if Sevilla fail out from the Champions league, and also fail to qualify for the europa, which is a competition that they are very good in, and have won many times. They have dominated the game, had more possession and more corner kicks but have just found it difficult to score the Lens goal. Lens have defended well and with an opportunity from the penalty spot Lens take the lead in a game where even just a draw would have been enough for them to secure qualification for the Europa.

I guess the Europa Kings won't make it to the competition this season because time is running out and it's still 1-1.
It won't  be a shame though because they're going through financial crisis and they managed to win the Europa last season. That's impressive if you ask me. Lens have held up well so far and it looks like they'll hold on to the end.
Since Sevilla won't be in the Europa that increases the chances of teams like Liverpool and Leverkusen to win the cup but I guess time will tell because it's never always predictable.
There still a few minutes left for Sevilla to get a winner though, but I doubt they'll be able to do that.

Edit: Lens score a last minutes goal keeps Sevilla at the bottom of group B. Lens qualifies for the Europa.
