641  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: June 18, 2023, 10:59:58 AM
I agree that no betting is wasted, but during wrong bets our real money is wasted and that's not a good thing for us. I have wasted some money on few gambling games in order to learn that how the game works and what are the mechanics of the game. But, so far I found that most of the gambling games generate random numbers and that's why guessing them and making a proper strategy isn't possible on those casino games. Although, one can master sports betting with time, but still it's always somehow test of our luck vs others luck, and if the ones who bet against us are more lucky then they will always win.

You can say that no bet is a waste in the sense that even if we lose the bet, the casino is the beneficiary of that bet. In this way, we can say that all the bets give benefit in one way or another. Either you will win money from the bet or the casino & bookmaker will make money out of it. This is one way of looking into it but we generally speak from the gambler's point of view.

In this case, if you lose a bet, you lose the money and that's the dark side of gambling. Losing is a part of gambling and I hope all gamblers understand this quickly once they start to gamble. High hopes from gambling may lead to difficulties and hopelessness in the future.

Yes, you said it very clearly. Actually, I just now fully understood the sense of playing gambling casino online or not. What you said is great, your brief explanation here is detailed. Then maybe, I can just add, when we are inside the casino, does that mean we have an equal, here the casino owner wins here in crypto gambling. Because the house knows that the chances that we will lose here are high and the chance that we will win a large amount is very low.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin must surpass gold on: June 18, 2023, 10:50:02 AM
There are two reasons. First, Bitcoin is a non-credit currency ten times stronger than gold. So unless Bitcoin is replaced. Otherwise he must surpass gold. Second, Bitcoin is close to being the ideal non-credit currency, and it is basically impossible to have another non-credit currency beyond Bitcoin. Combine these two points and Bitcoin is bound to surpass gold

In terms of its price, the gap between Bitcoin's value and Gold's is now very wide. In addition to that, they also have many differences, because firstly Gold is not volatile like Bitcoin, secondly Gold does not have a blockchain concept.
Although, in other respects they are the same, like as time goes on, its value increases, it can also be used as a currency exchange, but when it comes to the opportunity to make a profit, Gold is very limited, unlike Bitcoin, even if you are a poor person you can own Bitcoin unlike gold you can't.
643  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 07, 2023, 01:33:40 PM
I do not trust any casino that the data is safe, if nothing else the exchanges are capable of giving our data if they are asked for it, an easier casino that can give them because they are games of chance, it is easier for them to be attacked by governments and their enemies, it is very easy for these data to be transferred, that is why we have to be quite suspicious at all times, and that does not mean that casinos are bad or that they are thieves, but that they do not We know what problems they may face and even possible hacks, which is something they cannot control sometimes.
The important thing is that we can always be careful when playing gambling and not play gambling at suspicious casinos to avoid getting into trouble. If we already have a trusted casino on our list, we should always use that casino to play gambling because the casino will take good care of its customers. And if we are asked to do KYC, the data we send will also be properly guarded because trusted casinos always try to provide security for all of their members. So we can be calm and don't need to worry because the casino will do its best to protect the data of its members. And they will also make sure the security is always updated.

It's okay what you said, if we don't want to get into trouble with gambling we should just stick to a casino that has a proven track record in cryptocurrency gambling. The one that we have experienced winning and had no problem with withdrawing. Even if we go back and forth in gambling here, it's okay because we are satisfied with it because of the trust we have.
Because if we try with others who are new to this industry, the risk is quite high for sure for us.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 07, 2023, 01:23:38 PM
If your only goal in gambling is to have fun and relieve stress, I don't see the word persistence there. What does that have to do with entertainment, right?
Does the author of this topic mean that if your motive is to hit the jackpot then you need to be patient? Doesn't the length of time you play gambling depend on the total amount of luck you have so you can last longer. What if you lose quickly, how can the word patient in gambling come into play?

646  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Mga Influencer Ba Tayo Na Tutok Sa Cryptocurrency? on: June 07, 2023, 01:01:08 PM

648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 07:49:07 AM
Hi I have been toying with the idea of investing in BTC but have waited due to some investors saying the price will drop to 12 - 16k again. do you think it could still drop to this or are we more likely to move on up to 40k?

thanks in advance.

If I were you, now one bitcoin is more than 25k$, it's good to buy it now, then if it drops below its value again now, you'll buy too, as long as you apply the dca that others do, just save save until the right time of the bull run comes and then you decide if you want to sell it. You should have a timeframe of how many years you intend to hold bitcoin and then when you know that it is really profitable then think about whether you want to sell your holdings.
649  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: June 06, 2023, 07:40:58 AM
()

Nevertheless, I will agree with the notion that it is still a period of accumulation. Meaning even though the price is $26k and it could be expensive for the majority of us, we can still buy and save and just HODL. We can used the old strategy of DCA when trying to buy Bitcoin.

No one forced us to buy a full one bitcoin, so it can't be called expensive when we are at $26k. If you invest a large amount, you will get a more significant profit, if you invest a small amount, you will also receive a return corresponding to your capital. I mean, ROI will be the same if we buy at the same price and sell at the same price.
So let's invest what we can, and get rid of the idea that we invest 10k$ but want to get the same return as investors 1 million or 2 million dollars. It is because of that mindset that many newbies refuse to invest in bitcoin and go to altcoins and lose everything.

Indeed, I agree with what you said. Perhaps this is the beauty of cryptocurrency, the fact that even if we say that each bitcoin, Ethereum, Bnb and others are expensive, we are not really obligated to buy 1 bitcoin because Bitcoin is really expensive if we buy it in full. , but it's not like that, but you can buy with the budget that you only have, even if it's only 10$, you can have bitcoin in your wallet, that's why others advise to do the DCA.

650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: June 06, 2023, 07:18:11 AM
We are not in a bull run yet to be honest, though sometimes others say we are at a bullish stage level. That depends on what is happening now in the market. If there is a lot of news Fud happening in this industry, its cryptocurrency values in the market will be pulled down. It will only really happen that we are in a bull run when the value of Bitcoin is at 40k$ each which is more than I think.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: June 06, 2023, 07:08:40 AM
Hi we are changing the reward system and we would like to have some feedback before launch the new system

What kind of rewards/bonuses do you like ?

Welcome bonuses , cashback , freespins etc ?

or what kind of rewards would you like to see in an online casino ?

Thanks

You mean, he won 8000$, then he can't release it because KYC submission is required? right? that's the poicy of the casino, you must do and give them what they want or else you won't really get your winning price on their gambling platform. Then if the casino can be trusted and there is a lot of community built here, why not give kyc if this will be the key to pull out your winning, it's just common sense and there is no need to increase the price.

653  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: June 06, 2023, 06:31:33 AM
You know, even if you compile lists of influencers known on social media platforms like tiktok or Instagram with millions of followers, do you think the followers who support those influencers are because of gambling? If you look at the content of each influencer, it's not about gambling, they just insert it, because the influencers are taking a chance that they have something to gamble with what they promote.
This means that their million followers are also irrelevant if none of them will play gambling on what they advertise, which is also useless, because most of the followers are not gamblers.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter ad sales down 59%, company valuation down 66% on: June 05, 2023, 05:20:41 PM
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/06/05/technology/twitter-ad-sales-musk.html

Quote from: NYtimes
But Twitter’s U.S. advertising revenue for the five weeks from April 1 to the first week of May was $88 million, down 59 percent from a year earlier, according to an internal presentation obtained by The New York Times. The company has regularly fallen short of its U.S. weekly sales projections, sometimes by as much as 30 percent, the document said.

Twitter’s ad sales staff is concerned that advertisers may be spooked by a rise in hate speech and pornography on the social network, as well as more ads featuring online gambling and marijuana products, the people said. The company has forecast that its U.S. ad revenue this month will be down at least 56 percent each week compared with a year ago, according to one internal document.

Twitter’s valuation has since plunged. In March, Mr. Musk said the company was worth $20 billion, down more than 50 percent from the $44 billion he paid for it. Last week, the mutual funds giant Fidelity, which owns shares in Twitter, valued the company at $15 billion.

At this rate Twitter will either file for bankruptcy or will be sold for 5-10 billion to new owners. Or maybe Musk will double down and will start using his Tesla/SpaceX money to support Twitter, although if that happens, the shareholders of those companies will be very unhappy. Another way how Twitter can survive a bit longer is if it will secure funding from foreign governments. One of the buyers of Twitter together with Musk was a Saudi prince. Maybe Musk will start offering censorship/propaganda/data harvesting service to governments for a large fee to offset his ad revenue losses. Because blue checkmark sales are clearly not enough.

Could it be that what affected this is that Elon Musk implemented monthly subscriptions for their twitter users? I'm just not updated on whether Musk's plan has been successful Or it could also be because he removed all the former employees of twitter so they face such a problem now that Twitter apps in this industry. It appears that Twitter has gone back to zero since Elon Musk became its owner. But I'm still not sure.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 05, 2023, 05:10:25 PM
To be frank, I rarely gamble, because I know that usually you will always lose there. If I gamble I consider it just a game and not as a source of income or hope that I might get lucky to get the jackpot. If I win, it's only a small amount because my bet is small.
It is always up to us if we choose to gamble. So if you want to throw away money you have too much for you, my suggestion is to play gambling...
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: June 02, 2023, 05:22:17 PM
There is no normal being that loves getting losses on business, career, investment and trades that's why even company holders make financial policies to keep record of investment and profits flows. And unlike other business bitcoin also makes sales and losses if you do not investment wisely....is nice when you put in what can not put you sickbed or gives you hypertension, don't invest out of what you cannot withstand the loss.

Is better to use small money or learn risk management first before investing especially newbies.

That's why most people always say that only invest what you canafford to lose, don't invest that you will regret in the end. So if you're just a beginner, the suggested thing you should buy Bitcoin and hold it for a few years, don't do short trading in bitcoin right away without knowing or having any idea about it. It's okay to buy Bitcoin while you're learning it as long as you hold in long-term.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a mistake to make a separate Bitcoin channel on YouTube? on: June 02, 2023, 05:01:36 PM
Is your name a bitcoin channel youtube? Or is it your plan? There are many ingfluencers on youtube who have made content about bitcoin and honestly most of them are really just for content and views, although only a few of them explain clearly and truthfully about bitcoin especially when it comes to trading because most to them it seems that what they are explaining is far from reality.
But I support what you said that it is good to include bitcoin in our businesses as one of the options that can be used for payment, because not only will it be a big help to your business but also other customers who have no idea about it will have awareness and curiosity in bitcoin.
659  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Taproot ano nga ba ito? on: May 27, 2023, 01:28:32 PM

Sigaradong sobrang taas ng natin long term at apektado tayong lahat.

660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest challenges of bitcoin... on: May 24, 2023, 11:55:46 PM
It is proven and tested that Bitcoin is a good investment in the long-term and that cannot be denied, and Bitcoin has many features that other cryptocurrencies do not have, even if it is used as a payment option online it is a big deal how much more even with the opportunity it gives to people. In addition to this it also provides savings in the future, so the scalability that you are talking about is only a low percentage of the problem that a bitcoin holders will face honestly in my opinion.
