642  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it still worth getting a 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner BFL? on: August 30, 2013, 06:13:04 PM
I received my 2 Jalapeņos today, one with the "2ghps upgrade".  I ordered 03-Feb-2013.

I doubt they'll ever break-even BTC-wise.

Looks like I'm in for a lot more waiting before I'll see my Little Single.

You're in a better position than other people, maybe you can ROI on them hopefully. Shame about the single.

This could turn out pretty big if the OP sticks to his concept.

Well I already made a very simple BitCoin price ticker. That isn't hard at all. What else do you want except widgets (those are easy too).
Just a simple page, where you type in how many Bitcoins you want to check the price on and it shows up in the currency you selected, the widgets page doesn't really matter at this point just prefer to have a basic price site first.
Does it have to have constant live updates (like Preev.com)? Or you just type in the price, press enter and it shows the price without reloading the site?

Um, would it be harder to do with constant live updates.
Well if the prices updates, the value you are typing would disappear. I would have to create a way around it. It isn't hard, but it's extra work. Tongue

I would prefer it to be like that, just simple site pretty much maybe some room for some text to help SEO but other than that just that.

How much will you charge for that.

649  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC - UK Bank Transfer / Western Union. on: August 30, 2013, 02:35:53 PM
Hi

I can sell you 3.5 BTC via Western Union.. Let me know

Thanks

Trying to avoid WU due to fee's and stuff like that, also Bank Transfer is easy to do online and instant normally. Sometimes a few minutes max.
650  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BFL was a SCAM from the beginning -EXT HDD case being sold as a miner in 2011. on: August 30, 2013, 02:32:46 PM
For someone who has,

"Don't take life too seriously. Just relax."

In their profile, you seem to be taking this a little serious.

651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [BFC] Butterflycoin SHA-256 power for ButterflyLabs miners on: August 30, 2013, 02:17:58 PM
Maybe the OP of this thread is a scammer i mean yesterday he made a post about how to set difficult in CGminer and today is he releasing a new coin.. Perhaps he took advantage of the fact that there was no BTC thread about this new coin (there is on cryptocointalk) and made this post to scam bitcoin, the downloaded wallet could be any wallet just renamed..
I think this is scam. And I think that OP is rumbitla ("DEV" of cpucoin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=278069.0)

This is the guy behind the coin, he has a YouTube channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/EndWorldSuckDotCom

Any pictures of the units.

Mhm, I would be a bit skeptical with PayPal buddy. Just accept Bitcoin and use JohnK or another escrow service. JohnK is the only one I know of so far from being here so you will have to look around.
657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it still worth getting a 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner BFL? on: August 29, 2013, 09:32:19 PM
It'll work forever, you just won't make back your investment that's all.
I don't understand that, it will keep making coins forever.. but I wont get my investment back?

It will mine coins, but you will get so little as the gets harder to mine that the thing will cost more to run that it generates and you would of earned more just keeping the BTC and waiting for the value to rise.

I guess you will only figure that out if you actually buy a unit and then notice that you will not ROI on the unit.

But considering your asking for donations to buy one, I doubt you will even be in that position.
658  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it still worth getting a 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner BFL? on: August 29, 2013, 08:41:26 PM
In other words, it will no doubt be more profitable to just buy BTC and keep it instead of buying a BFL unit.
659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: looking for user with ebay account on: August 29, 2013, 07:27:38 PM
I wouldn't advise anyone to do this, you may risk your eBay account getting closed or a negative feedback or something. Scammer or not, he/she will just list it again.
