642  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: November 12, 2013, 06:34:40 PM
Window 7 forever..

Windows 7 is the best OS Microsoft has done in recent years in my opinion.

8 is better, it's just that 7 was so "groundbreakingly solid" helping restore faith in Microsoft after horrible Vista.
And a huge wave of FUD (almost like a paid job) concerning metro UI above everything sure did not help.
It was so annoying to see tons of comments from peopl who did not even try that thing out yet.

Im not paid, I dont like the store concept apple and android have integrated as well. Windows 8 is big fail in my opinion

lol ghave u tried win 8?!?!  It uses less resources than XP in my oppinion. Only thing i dont like is Metro but you can add a normal start button

648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 280X or HD 7970 on: November 12, 2013, 08:14:51 AM
Since they are both similar if you will also be using for for gaming I would buy the R9 280X since it supports DirectX 11.2 and also make sure to get one with a nice cooler such a gigabyte or msi card.

7970, is cheaper and same shit you get from them

653  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Next difficulty ~670,000,000 ? on: November 12, 2013, 08:04:17 AM
800 mil i am expecting

i am expecting right around this number too.

it is getting very, very difficult for newcomers of bitcoin to get into the mining action.
i think mining is where you learn the majority of what you need tdo know about btc and if people aren't offered this... i worry about the future of btc.

i dont worry about future BTC, only thing what ASIC developer must do is to lower the prices od their ASICS or invent some new ASICS with more GHs at the same price

Still struggling with this.
Are car insurance companies making money by sitting on their ass and taking the risk (that you don't have an accident)?
Is offering insurance immoral?  Is purchasing it?

If by making money by "sitting on your ass" what you mean is "continuing to take financial risk" is immoral then the question becomes: What is the basis for the immorality?
Would you further suggest that it is somehow also not ethical, and if so, who is it that is harmed?

Car insurrance companys dont have any risks in their business if they are doing just cars. This sound a little funny but if you have 10 000 cars insurace how many of them will crash?    A small amount

Got a better picture now:

3.3thash of Black Arrow Bitfury Boards [R9-12]
1 KnC Jupiter
2x 48 port switches
Lots of PSUs

Why do you have an extra Jupiter lid?

Theres a 3 mod. Jupi at my house that I was diagnosing... then forgot to bring it back. Like a week ago. lol.

Also another lidless jupiter not in the picture.

Got a better picture now:

657  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining with <$500 for Fun? on: November 11, 2013, 11:46:31 PM
Does anyone know how many BTC $500 will generate per day?

You should ask if you can make any profit... whats the point if you spend $500 and you only get back $250 Smiley...

you can make profit with 500$  as you can make with 5000$ ROI is the same if you buy 1 or 6 GPUs
or GHs on the market
658  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin isn't currency. on: November 11, 2013, 11:44:39 PM
