641  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: June 23, 2016, 02:11:22 PM
The future is bitcoin and even currently, it is being used in all parts of the world. How do you call a currency that is being used globally. I highly suspect  that bitcoin is now second to the dollar globally. Although it has not been formalized, it is being used by so many people because of its decentralized nature.

Currently we cannot say that Bitcoin is 2nd best to USD. The second bests are still Euro and Pound. The bitcoin is competing all three of them and it has done great in very short period of time.  Alone Bitcoin is a threat to USD / EUR0 /  Pound. and reason of it is that there are so many features and advantages of bitcoins which FIAT doesn't  posses.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and rest are physical currencies, but we can say that bitcoin is the best virtual currency that we have that can take over fiat in near future.
642  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 02:09:39 PM
I tried to convince many women but they were simply not interested in bitcoin, they said they have credit cards and physical cash then why to waste time in bitcoin.
because cash and credit card gives them more fashion,so they'll simply prefer thing which is fashionist and simple, not to bother to get advanced on internet
Give her first more bitcoins then teach her where she can only spend bitcoin then i think she will be interested where do you get the bitcoin you can now easily motivate her to use bitcoin

Don't make an habit of giving them free bitcoin as if they are getting it for free, they will not value it and simply spend it and forget and will not make any efforts to earn it.
643  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 02:08:02 PM
You can definitely easily make some major cash with bitcoins and earn a living off of it even though i do not recommend this as a lively hood due to the fact that you cannot know when it is going to change for the better or for the worse.

The only way you can really know is to just wait but you definitely CAN make a living.

If price goes higher in future then we can afford to earn a living with it and start working full time on it, but as of now I don't think its a smart move to make.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: June 23, 2016, 02:05:56 PM
Urgh.... another BTC is ded thread, ignoring the fact it's never died  Roll Eyes

I am annoyed at myself now because this thread will forever come up in my new replies tab.

Can't help, but the fact is price is below $600 now but still its a good price to hold, and with that price we cannot say that bitcoin is dead, when it will to zero level it can be called as a dead.
645  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: June 22, 2016, 12:40:58 PM
You can better sell on this moment than buying bitcoins right now becasue the price is that high that itonly is profitable for you to sell your coins they are to expensive to buy right now.

too late if you want to sell at this moment, it should be when the price of bitcoin touched $750. now is a good time to buy, because I am sure it will back to increase.

yeah good time to buy, as when it touched $750 everyone thought that it will reach $800 soon so everyone kept their coins on hold, but it dropped down after that so I think that was good time to sell.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: June 22, 2016, 12:38:38 PM
Well, that is wrong. If you are dumping your bitcoins doesn't mean that we have to follow your stupid trend and dump it along with you. If you lose money, doesn't mean we should as well.

One word - retard.

That is right. I think the price of bitcoin will be much higher after the user number increase. It could be $1000 in 12 months.

If there would not be decline in price in past 2 days then we were expecting to see that price at the time of halving, but now I think we need wait longer to achieve the price of $1k.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 22, 2016, 12:37:03 PM
Investment means giving the money to someone who uses it for their business and pays you back a dividend (and you normally get some kind of share that can be sold later). Think stocks.

"Save in bank" is actually a kind of investment. You give money to the bank, they use it for their business and give you a small interest (if at all) as dividend, and you can withdraw your money. With current interest rates, this is pretty boring, the only advantage compared to keeping money in a safe at home is that it's easier to do most types of payment, and that you don't need your own safe...

Buying precious metals is not an investment because those metals won't work with the money you paid for them. It's mostly speculation (you hope that you can sell it for a higher price) and safekeeping (real value of money can fall due to inflation, while precious metals will mostly retain their "real" value). But you need to consider storage fees.

To decide which is better you need to know what you consider "good".
Do you want to maximize your ROI? Do you want to store your wealth safely? Do you want to enable entrepreneurs to build their businesses?

Onkel Paul
It is not that you are not true but there are allot of difference between people who can invest and people who can better save money it also depends about how much money someone has.

Investment requires capital and capital requires savings, if you have not saved money regularly then it will be difficult to make any investment, saving is primary and investment is secondary.
648  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: June 22, 2016, 12:34:56 PM
Well if I were asked to pick between bitcoin or gold, I will pick bitcoin because its easier to convert to real money and it is easier to store.
yeah to save and use bitcoin certainly more friendly. You can bring as much as any bitcoin wherever you are. different if you carry a lot of gold. of course it will be difficult

I will go with bitcoin as it is not only an investment but also a best currency which can used anywhere, gold is something you can only hold cannot be used like a currency.
649  Economy / Speculation / Re: 626 $ what!?!? Halving incoming.. on: June 22, 2016, 12:32:38 PM
When will be the next halving after the one we are having now?

I also think price will drop dramatically after the halving and there will be an opportunity to buy and wait for the next pump, which very well may be before the next halving. I just need to be sure when it hits "the real bottom."

No one exactly knows what is the real bottom, we cannot predict that as if price drops to $400 we may feel its a bottom, but the very next day it may go to $300.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: June 22, 2016, 12:30:18 PM
Nobody knows what will happen to bitcoin after halving this summer but i am sure that in future bitcoin will be popular and also so expencive.

We can see that Bitcoin is getting now more used around this time and that is good, and the most important is that we have also to spend it so there are also more stores that is accepting more Bitcoins.
The unpredictable thing is that nobody will know what the value will be in the future and that we also cant control the value and that is quite risky for people with Bitcoin.

Yeah and that risk will always follow bitcoin, as price keeps on moving up and down, no one can predict what will be the price in future and that puts a question mark on future of bitcoin.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 22, 2016, 12:27:31 PM
off course who is not holding their coins for a price increase i dont think there are people that just selling their coins by a little price increase that would be very stupid.
There are people that holding is not their best option, most of them do trades to make more profit and I think it is way better too if you have knowledge on trading and know how to manage things like when and what price increase should make you trade your coins.

Its always good to secure profits at regular intervals, and bitcoin allows us to do that, so I prefer to make quick profits rather then just holding and keeping coins idle.
652  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2016, 12:25:23 PM
Well, my plan to get rich with bitcoin is simply to hold onto the bitcoins until they are either worth a lot or they are the major currency used in the world, both I believe is going to happen soon.

In either scenarios, BTC price will soar.
Yes I also did it in order to make a profit. But I also collect bitcoin on the signature campaign so bitcoin I would still multiplying and could make me rich. To be rich with bitcoin have to try hard and remain diligent collect bitcoin.

If you want to get rich with bitcoin then you need to collect from multiple sources, only earning from signature campaign will never make you rich.
653  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 22, 2016, 12:22:29 PM
I will hold for the halving, and if price touches $1k then I will prefer to sell 5 btc and remaining 5 btc I will save for the future as you never know how far bitcoin can go.
654  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2016, 12:20:49 PM
it is definitely going to be the year of bitcoin in my opinion because the price of it is going to grow at a very rapid pace

Yes it is the year of the bitcoin, it will be a very important year due to upcoming halving and we have already noticed that price was incredibly increase.
I think the bitcoin will rise and gets more popular than ever.

So far the year was not so good for bitcoin, but after the price hike in past few weeks I think it can be the turning point for this year and we will see better price in coming months.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: June 21, 2016, 08:42:55 PM
This is not the best to sell bitcoin because the price is down.. and i think we need to support it and dont sell our bitcoin so that the price will still stay in 600 value..

You are right the price is not super but its okay, right now selling is not smart because if you are selling you will miss the halving and that is a event that can be profitable..

the speculation about the block halving has already been quite profitable for smart people that bought their coins when the price was around the $350-$400 price levels. if the price goes much lower than the current price of $655, then we might be lucky to see the price goes back to the price levels before the correction happened. only time will tell what will happen. just under 3 weeks left till the block halving.

We have been holding our coins since long time and if we sell now then that is the stupid thing to do, as halving is not far enough we can afford to hold our coins till then.
656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have lost more than $100 in a day... on: June 21, 2016, 08:40:46 PM
The price on BTC-e is $614 as we speak. Any reason for this?
I don't see any reason for this panic dump, people may have thought bitfinex will have same issue like cryptsy or mtgox and start dumping whatever coin they have. This price could be good point to buy back as we may see 100$ pump tomorrow again to go over 800$. Wink

Yes and I am eagerly waiting to see the price of $800 so I can sell some coins and collect some good profits from it, but I think it will take some more time to reach there.
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Now that prices are dropping, should I still hold my coins? on: June 21, 2016, 08:39:08 PM
When you take a position you should decide before hand how much of a loss you will take. If that is 10 percent, sell then. If you bought lower and are in profit there is no reason to panic just hold.

I think the other way, as if we bought at lower price then I think we should sell them and secure the profits as you can buy it anytime again when price falls down.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: June 21, 2016, 08:37:04 PM
You can do both, hold 50% and sell 50% if you don't have extra income to cover you mining expenses.  The market can go either way, so just considering it going upward is very careless and sadly brainless thinking.  You need to do your research too.  Fact is everywhere just make sure you don't get f*ck by those none substance speculation.

Mining is not a good option at a moment, I think saving would be the choice of many people as everyone is expecting higher price at the time of halving.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 21, 2016, 08:35:15 PM
I buy bitcoins when the price is pretty high and when the future is also pretty attractable, right now as a example I would not buy it because of te fact that the bitcoin is too high for me to invest again in it..

Right now, the price of bitcoin is continuous raising, i think it's a good time to buy bitcoin. Because when the halving come, i'm sure the price of bitcoin will increase so high.
If you want to buy some Bitcoin is that you have to buy it low and that is because you have to know that the chance to buy low will be higher that you can make some profit with it so that is really nice.
But of course it is hard to know what will actually happen with the value of Bitcoin itself.

We were expecting that price will touch $800 by this time but at a moment price is at $635 so I think we can afford to buy at this price as price will start rising at the time of halving.
on halving that it can be touch $1000 . also idk why bitcoin decrease like a hell 770 -> 660 , on 1 days. but its good for us  Cheesy Cheesy

I think this dump will be followed by major pump in coming days, so hold your coins tight and have some patience as price will definitely will  be higher at halving.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 21, 2016, 08:33:30 PM
I want gold

Gold is good in long term but if you want to make profits in short term then bitcoin can take best care of it, as halving is near now so if you invest in bitcoin now then you can collect good profits in short term.

gold vs bitcoin , bitcoin sure win. gold is hard for investment and low profit, if bitcoin sure can long term since the community trust the bitcoin

Yeah I think bitcoin has an potential to take over the gold in future, the only thing it needs is the support from the people and it can give us best returns in compare to gold in future.
