641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold 0.008 btc for over 11,000 USD at mtgox on: August 01, 2011, 11:17:31 AM
Dwolla doesn't do chargebacks...you can't reverse the transaction.

Someone doesn't pay attention to current events it seems. Smiley

Dwolla's marketing speak is a bunch of shit, everywhere they said "no chargeback concerns" is a lie.

And yet everyone loves Dwolla but hates Paypal.

Yep its just another glorified Paypal clone with a nicer web design.

Democracy means you get to vote against the laws that you don't like, it does not mean you can disregard those laws at your personal discretion.

You can disregard immoral unethical laws.  You know that the vast majority of Americans were against the bank bailouts, but congress did it anyway?  And that the vast majority of Americans are against the illegal wars, but congress does it anyway?

You have no voice in The System except as a milk cow from which they extract your substance.  Come on, man!  Grow some cajones and don't cooperate with an immoral system.

What if the population choose an unethical and evil action? You could vote against it but half of the population already choose to do EVIL!

Democracy doesn't fix things, just give voice to a larger population of people, who may or may not choose wisely.

There is no democracy in this world of false flags , END OF.
644  Economy / Marketplace / Re: report two asshole chrage back they money on paypal after buy on: August 01, 2011, 10:43:04 AM
If you try to prove to PayPal you sent the BTC then both your accounts will be shut down lol.

Thats correct, as using Paypal for e-currency exchanges is against their TOS,
in future please do NOT use Paypal for exchanging e-currencies as it more hassle than its worth,
If you must use Paypal, please only transact with close friends or family, any other non-trusted parties
is just not worth the risk.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problems finding wallet.dat on OSX on: July 31, 2011, 12:49:32 PM
Go to your home directory for the user, then library, then application support, then bitcoin, it should be listed there.
Cheers.

Thank you,
it finally showed up at long last

653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Best Safest Easiest Most Trustworthy Web-based Wallet for Non-Techie on: July 29, 2011, 12:44:46 PM
Not sure about safest, but instawallet has got to be the easiest.

I just don't like the fact that the URL is the password to all your money.

I understand your concerns,
we are creating a viable option which will attempt to address these types of issues.
654  Economy / Services / Re: Need a 250 BTC Loan on: July 25, 2011, 12:40:21 PM
Eh I wouldn't. Doesn't mean someone else won't. Just think you're going to have a hard time because just your word that you'll pay back the person that invests doesn't go very far. Especially on the internet.

I can see why someone would be hesitant with 250 btc to a complete strange with not much rep also just got taken 330$ myself from fucking leon that asshole...

May i ask why didn't you escrow the transaction ?
655  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking for a Loom invite on: July 20, 2011, 01:17:53 PM
I most certainly would like to do that but I don’t have enough tokens at the moment.

Ah ok, no problem
656  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking for a Loom invite on: July 20, 2011, 12:49:42 PM
I had some trouble getting one but at last when I visited ##loom @ freenode and asked there a guy sold me an invite.
I suggest you do the same, have some patience though  the ##loom channel isn't very crowded.

Thanks for the tip,
would it be possible that you could invite me ?
657  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking for a Loom invite on: July 20, 2011, 12:08:49 PM

Loom Invitation

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are offering invitations to loom with only a minimal hoop to jump through and at a price that covers our cost of usage tokens to you (it takes a minimum of 100 usage tokens to invite someone to loom).
The fee is 0.50 grams of gold, payable in USD (at spot +10%), bitcoins (MtGox bid price -10%), or digital gold (Pecunix).
The hoop you must jump through is this: send an email to us to exchange PGP keys, and then send an encrypted email to us with your response to the following questions.

In your words, what is the most exciting thing about loom, and why are you interested in getting involved?

What do you plan to do with loom? (Issue your own asset types, save money, buy goods and services, sell goods and services?)

Are you an entrepreneur or run your own business?

Send your emails to the following address: info@loommarket.com

While we may use your responses to market loom, we will never release any identifying information about you.

Thank you for finding this,
but how how do i get PGP keys ?
