I wanted to get a sense of what the dev teams feel the value of rvn should be (not what it will be) once project is complete and all phases are finished. I know I am purely guessing here, but the devs did associate a number in relation to the value of RVN. From the Github site (" https://github.com/RavenProject/Ravencoin/tree/master/roadmap") : "The cost to create assets will be 500 RVN to create any qty of an asset" if the devs felt RVN would be 0.10, that would mean it would cost $50 to do above, 1.00 $500 to do above, etc So then ask yourself who are the targets that will pay 500 RVN to create assets. in game currency, land deeds,etc can easily pay $500 no problem. What about kids selling lemon aid at a stand or a street merchant selling t-shirts... Not sure they want to pay $500, but might pay $50.... I read the white paper (cant say I 100% understand everything but I hope most of it), I read the github site, and I am thinking of the majority of use cases where paying 500 RVN would be applied... That might give us real insight not what the price will be, but what the devs are thinking 'now' at what the price might be. I realize everything above might just be BS (LOL), but I am curious what others think? Good point, sometimes people just focus on mining and forget about REAL WORLD use scenarios. Mining has it's deadline. wasting electricity is profitable, but it will end when a better way is invented. |

Unitus is a good coin mineable with CPU. It can also be mined with GPU, but CPU mining is also profitable. There is 5 algos which protect the blockchain. Some coins are too hard to mine, but this one is still ok for an old CPU or a notebook. You should have a look at it. Unitus is also going to be POS at the end of June or July.
X11 is one of the algos it supports. It is supported by ASICs. That means CPU an GPU is useless. Zpool has 42TH pointed at it right now on x11. How can you beat that with laptop CPU? |

And I think that BTX is just too similar to all other coins which are faster than BTC.
BTX is:
1. fast - a lot of other coins are fast
2. cheap transactions - a lot of coins are even with free transfers
3. secure - almost all offer this as a feature
4. decentralized
5. anonymous to some extent
So BTX now is without the claimed fork coins (already claimed) and the airdrop coins (already ended).
My question is - what is the unique trait of BTX which is good enough to
make BTX a payment leader?
If it works for you, you can compare it with LTC for example.

Do you guys expect that GNT will be listed on binance without golems team having to pay anything for the listing? that would be awesome :)Eventually it will happen. There are very few projects like golem and binance is targeting to be largest market.
That would save the team a lot of money which could then be spent on development. Maybe it is possible if Binance recognizes the potential of the project. it would be great if GNT could be released in Binance exchange without the cost of registering but what might happen because Binance rules require to pay if you want to be registered? does it apply only to good projects like GNT There is only little chance I guess to convince Binance to list a coin without paying a fee. They know their market position and there is no reason for them I fear to do it without a large fee. I dont agree with you. Sometimes Binance add coins without fees. Golem is really huge project and Binance know it. So i think we will see GNT at this exchange. Maybe not this mounth, but this year i think we will see. I wish good luck to the project. Ugh.. Downloaded the wallet, it autoinstalled without asking me where do I want it (please fix!)
I found the folder deep in Appdata folder, copied it and moved wherever I find it useful - ran without any problems
from the new location.
Wallet is dark, very small font, poor readability (please fix!)
Withdrawed some fake test XEL coins, ran a calculation which took some of the coins for the task.
mining requires complex instalation of Docker and a lot of command line, so not suitable for
lazy miners like me.
I'll check the progress in 6 months.

After looking over the spirit of the team that is still surprising why this is not into billion dollar market club. Potentially it could be there but this will happen after successful launch of mainnet than price will skyrocket and so many people will miss the train.

Тествана е на друго дъно, с друг софтуер, клокната, сток, даунклокната, ъндърволтната и оувърволтната. Разлика няма. от 23Mh/s реално прави 4 успешни, а тока, който харчи е като за 23.
Видимо много си я клокнал. Намали паметта за начало и виж дали ще спаднат грешките. Както казах, опитал съм всички варианти на клок. Грешките си ги има при всички изброени по-горе варианти. Аха, недогледал съм в английската терминология. Драйвера и настройките провери там автоъпдейт да не ги е осакатил нещо. Как са ти температурите и захранването премери с мултицед... В краен случай в биоса на дъното ги виж. Автоъпдейт няма, температурите са около 60градуса, тествано е и сама на отделно 650В захранване, директно на отделно дъно, самичка. Разлика няма. Май ще я пращам за гаранционен сервиз. |

Good point, so: 1. Pick a coin which is listed in bigger exchanges with higher volume 2. Pick a more popular coin with higher demand 3. Pick a coin with a practical use case (ITNS claims it will be a decentralized VPN.. some day) |
