I posted these in the stealthcoin and SSD thread you guys might wanna go over and encourage them to do the right thing? Hey all, nice to see you left the // Copyright (c) 2014 The ShadowCoin developers in the code HERE for their stealth addresses.
It would be nice if you update your readme HERE please by giving credit, definitely where credit is due to the shadowcoin and razor developers!!
Also ill give you heads up and you might like to update your code properly giving credit where its due THIS Piece of code actually originated from RAZOR and not Stealthcoin!
This is important to trace back where code actually derives from for people in the distant future to be able to trace a line back to its TRUE place of origon..This is unacceptable and happens all to often in these coins which are financial instruments and must be surgical or you just don't belong here! ^^ The above is what i posted in SSD thread too just to be clear on what i came across. Hey StealthDevs i think you searched replaced Copyright (c) and removed razors from HERE and HERE and prolly a heap of other stuff you have done that too also. One day professionals are going to come through this space and stuff like this is going to make fools of us all so lets keep it legit hey!? The original is RAZORS! You also left out Shadows mention, using their stealth address code HEREWhy not just PM the devs? I don't think you actually give a shit. You are just trolling. Id like to know why you care so much, I don't think you really care at all but you are here following me around anyways thats hats really absurd. And you wonder why no one takes you seriously. Okay, you are right. I'll just go back to the other coins you are trolling and wait for you to post the same thing for the twentieth time.

If I thought there was an oversight and the Developer didn't give proper credit, I would do the sensible thing and just PM the developer.
These Shadowcoin Fanboys have been feeling butthurt about Stealthcoin using their open source code...that's all this is about....a lingering feeling of butthurt and the fact that, so far, Shadowcoin just isnt a big seller. booofuckinhooo.
Shadowcoin got one good pump by Bobsurplus (although he is probably to ashamed to admit to ever owning any SDC) then it's been dead cat bounce ever since. The coin is not the problem. The problem is that the community is in large part aggressive butthurt trolls from all corners of the globe. And then there's the fact that a couple of the SDC investors own a huge portion of the coins. Thats why I dumped all my SDC.
You win arrogant fool post of the day..Good for you. Why would we be butthurt? It's open source are you even sure what that means and what my post was even about here.. Your post is showing just how far from the truth your assumptions are. Ah, I was told you were trolling here too. Shadow sucks dude. Trolling a bunch of coins isn't going to change that. Like I said in the other thread, post a pull request with the changes you think are appropriate. Comments work like this: // everthing after the two backslashes is a comment (this is a comment) // my butthurt coin deserves credit! (C) 2014, ButthurtCoin Devs Now you are a coder! Now get to work or shut the fuck up.

Here is some more disappointment for you.... MarketcapStealthcoin $ 694,073 ShadowCash $ 496,663Awww... too bad, so sad. I've never seen a situation where the trolling of coin A helps the value of coin B.

I was informing the community and most don't care the way you do or see it as a threat they are just going to take it in and get it fixed. Some will take notice of it in the future. Its just you and some others that just overreact to basically everything and making it about a ton of things its not.. deal with it! You are just showing how some of your community handles anything critical. It's disappointing really!
Consider them informed. Take action or shut the fuck up. Any more repetition from you about this is just trolling.

Shadow does not have issues like this or any other issues for that matter the coin is fine, the code in it is fine and gives mentions to the other coind developers and keeps their copyright intact.
Shadow sucks, dude. You can't bring this coin down to the shadow level by fudding here. It's futile. Many have tried. That you are still trying just shows how dumb you are. Learn the lesson that others have learned. If you really have some improvements to the copyrights, just make a pull request. Make it easy on the dev. You've done the hard work of finding all the copyright stuff. Now, put that work to use.

Alright, I heard from cryptzo by PM!
He's on top of this and is looking seriously at my patch. He's just very tired. Hopefully he can muster the fortitude to knock out an update before he crashes.
This is a good sign guys. I know devs.

i send some seeds (0.143) to my wallet from minerpools , but that was before i changed the config while my wallet wasn't syncing , now my wallet is synced but did not recieve the seeds i withdraw ,
is that a fork issue and did i loose the withdrawed seeds??
It's probably a fork issue. Things are going to get ugly with the pools. They tend to make their own forks when things like this happen.

|
|
Do you have contact with all the pools too? They would have to update to your fork as well--at least this week They'll update if a good working fork is posted and the exchange takes it. OK. Well, I think it's the community which makes a coin strong, and we're seeing it here. Hopefully your patch will get applied before the potential for conflict arises. I'm guessing Cryptzo has a lot on his plate right now and when he sees it will very gladly check it off his long to do list and give you full credit. At least, that's what I would do if it were me (and you were right about the need for the patch--which I lack the technical know-how to be able to determine on my own). Anyway, I like coins where the wallets don't blow up every few days or so. Been there, done that with NXT, but it's all working great now and even going places. A lot of the best coins have shitty early times. If you want a perfectly functioning wallet early on, you need a perfect clone. But perfect clones have no innovation. The way to judge a coin is not just what the community does, but take a look at how the dev handles the early difficulties. I hope cryptzo pulls through.

ok i restart the wallet with a new config but now the wallet does not sync anymore
anyone have more suggestions to fix ?
I sent cryptzo a fix. Hopefully he checks it out. I've helped with this exact problem in other coins. tanx , my wallet is pending between sync and not sync , but the coin that are in stake now , they stay stuck at 1 confirmation so i hope i can use my seedcoins as the way it is meant to I have bought a lot of seed. It's going to suck if he doesn't fix this problem because of pride or something. I'm starting to get that feeling. I've worked with a lot of developers on coins. If the network is still deteriorating in 10 or so hours, I'll offer a community fork. I know the bittrex people. They'll update to my fork in a heartbeat. Let's hope it doesn't come to that, but if you did that, would you also provide an updated version of the QT client and would it do the staking thing as advertised? I would. [edit] I'm just here to protect my investment. If these problems get fixed, I'll step aside and do what I love to do for coins: bounce trolls. [edit2] I'm not here for glory either. cryptzo can take my patch and claim he wrote it and I won't care at all. I'm here for my investment. Period.

This is what I sent cryptzo about this buggy mandatory update.
Seedcoin's latest mandatory update is a ticking time bomb. When PoS weight changes, the current wallet will no longer accept the old historical blockchain.
The patch I sent him addresses this issue. [edit] I'm starting to hope cryptzo is not one of these "proud" developers who doesn't look at what others offer.

Seedcoin's latest mandatory update is a ticking time bomb. When PoS weight changes, the current wallet will no longer accept the old historical blockchain. This could cause just minor issues like wallet not syncing, but it may also allow a malicious actor to orphan every PoS block minted and not checkpointed, since the wallet will no longer see the proper blockchain as valid.
You need to use blocktime or something, not GetTime. SEED should have future time drift protection for blocktimes, so they can only set their clock ahead by like 2 hours or 15 minutes or something like that and their blocks still be valid
As an aside, this is why you should use block height, instead of a time for forking.. it makes issues like these never even possible
To fork in the future, it's actually best to use block time (edit: of the best block). But yeah, grabbing the system time is not a good approach.
