Where is this currently being traded?
coin-swap.net: zero trade history, lowest sell 24900 satoshi (for any reasonable volume), less than 5000 p$ total available
penny-alts.co.uk: priced in GBP with BTC currently going for 2x the market price; p$ price is around 5000 satoshi equivalent, but no indication about quantity available
cryptorush.in: dying exchange; coin currently in maintenance mode so no idea about availability
allcrypt.com: less than 1000 p$ total available; huge gap between buy and sell price
Is there some secret exchange I don't know about where it's all being traded?
Oh, by the way, the link for coin-swap in the first post needs fixing.
I picked some up early on coinswap but whenever a coin hits an exchange they just kind of become obsolete. When it gets on a higher volume exchange you will start to see volume come in, but for now I'm fine with mining it. Some advice: don't do anything with cryptorush right now. They have claimed to have changed staff twice already in the last month just to throw the blame away and are still taking money without BTC withdrawals. The same goes for Bter. |

This is a hoax. Read into the coin announcement and all the other related posts/articles. The client is downloaded from sourceforge. Just that fact, which I found in about 20 seconds, tells you that it is not made by google.

Why very less people participating in this thread  , I am going to run a giveaway to point this thread, But I am little bit confuse, is giveaways makes coin strong or it will spoil coin. It brings attention to a coin that has all the potential, but no attention yet. The giveaway is a great thing for the coin and community members alike I'm not sure why anybody wouldn't want a chance to get into Scrypt mining, but that just creates more opportunity for a faithful few. |

Ok, received their reply. They are denying any problem at their side. Said that this a rare thing during their years of exchange operation and experiences with so many coins. I have asked them to resync, lets see Not rare at all. I have an Nxt deposit still pending from 3 months ago and many people have mentioned "processing limbo" where you don't excatly feel like you've lost your coins, but you most certainly have. I can't beleive that I just tried to deposit my coin2 on there. |

I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents again on the ticker:
PD- reminds me of pump and dump
P$- doesn't work in some coding
Petro- taken, I beleive
*PTR- classic 3 char ticker, not used by another coin, used on coinswap already for PetroDollar, and was the first ticker used on an exchange for Petrodollar
Unless we come up with a nicer one, I like PTR and it should be easy to have exchanges switch to it.

Pretty sweet The only small problem I see is PetroDollar on 3 exchanges with 3 different tickers (P$, PTR, PD). Everyone should probably decide together on 1 ticker and have the exchanges all change to the same. There have been annoyances and problems with tickers on other coins before so I guess that would help avoid any misunderstandings with future coins. That or I have a bad OCD  |

What about trying to bring coin2 to poloniex before it gets on mintpal? Mintpal is a big market and devs are still working the fps i think it could be a bad move to get added anytime soon to mintpal. What yall think? We cannot stop everyone from voting on mintpal now, but its not gonna be added atleast before a week. Plenty of time The FPS being released a bit after it gets on Mintpal creates the perfect situation. People will be looking into the coin when it gets on and when they spot the FPS potential it will go up with hype all the way up until and a bit after the FPS release. Boost 1 is getting on Mintpal, Boost 2 is hype of FPS, Boost 3 is the FPS. Welcome to space |

How is the store planning to get $ out of GPUC when total GPUC buy volume is like 0.1 BTC?
Coin is dying and so is the store because they are stuck with their GPUC worth nothing.
I am sure Jaymes is not that stupid and has planned that. I think he will soon get us on a bigger exchange. That alone won't be enough to solve the problem. You are right buddy, The biggest exchange can be great for coin or it just vanish that coin, like flappy coin came to Cryptsy very fast & rates fallen down & now the flappy is exchanged with LTC at 0.00000006, At start the price in BTC for flappy. So we have to make sure that this GPU Coin reach to lots of people & all should believe in this coin & it should be also used for other services, So value of coin go up. I think that if the community builds up strong enough, then we can get a major uptrend with a new exchange. I would be extremely happy if GPUcoin didn't get major attention from profit-switch pools or pumpers for a while, so I'm glad that it isn't on a major exchange yet. |

I am not a rig owner but I was wondering how to get free electricity - till now I didn't solved it Cheers! We had some illegal ways, but some legal ways to get free electricity are: - life with your parents / someone else who pays for electricity - setup a mining rig at a place that offers free electricity. E.g. university, a cafe or similar. Usually this will not work because you cant leave your rig there, but only set it up for a short period of time. - ask at your company/workplace if you can install a rig somewhere. Depending of the kind of company and their elecricity needs, they will not even notice. - get a flat where electricity is included in the rent. That is still no free elektricity, you simply let someone else pay while you are making money of it. It is bad and you should feel bad... Well if someone else pays for it, thats free for me. Why should I feel bad about that? To clearify: I dont do that, but even if I would, I dont see why I should feel bad about it. If someone offers me free electricity, they cant complain about me taking it. I would definetly be against my parents paying, but I take full advantage of my electricity bill being included in rent If I had the money for enough miners I would suck tons of power out of this place. They charge 3$ to use a tiny washing machine for 30 minutes! |
