I hope you get close to your asking price. If you do, I may sell my 900 MH/s 3 Titan setup too.
Same here, anyone feel free to PM me if you're paying these 1+ year ROI prices for this hardware. I'll sell too and possibly buy A4 with the money when they become available. 1+ year ROI? If folks believe LTC will be at $3.50 forever, I'd understand the resistance to purchase this gear. Good luck on that A4, I'm keeping my eye on it as well.

How are these different than the Titans being sold on eBay for less, curious since that is almost always a premium? Anything specific about your batch? The folks on Ebay clearly state they don't have a complete system and that's why they're cheaper. Hell, they might not have a system at all. You can trust you're getting exactly what mindtrip is saying you're going to get, that's what's "specific" about the batch. My actuals for what its worth: Electricity $650 in the month of DEC, $1212.75 in LTC @ $3.50. We're mining coins at almost a 100% gain with mediocre power costs and increasing difficulties. This is on the bow wave of the BTC halving, where LTC may very well serve as a stopgap during BTC hardforks. Think about that. What are your alternatives? SFARDS was a joke and Innosilicon is only looking for large investors for the nextgen 14nm technology. I'd be surprised if the A4's are out for you or me in the next year. I think what's offered is more than fair.

You probably never will see LTC at 10$ unless it get pumped. Ltc is just to brandes as silver and BTC as gold. That means that you can rather use bitcoins than LTC. Pump and dumps happens but for LTC to stay at such high value then it has to do something that BTC cant do.
What do you think will happen when BTC halves? To do something that BTC doesn't do? Like confirm transactions?

I considered going out into wild with 2.5GH/s and did not. For reference you can go to litecoinpool.org (hasrate distribution) and see the strength of blocks found by a random address. There's a very few solo beasts out there.

alltime low btc/ltc valuation is .00585... we are really not that far from this....
If we break anywhere close to this low, i think LTC plummets to .002 very very fast......
I'm sorry, have you not seen this before?

Anyone who invested in this ICO deserved to lose his money.
I warned multiple times in the early pages but dummies are still jumping in project that have absolutely nothing to offer.
I might sound like a vilain but well deserved!
lets see what happen next , do santa claus coming to us If you didn't notice It's down two orders of magnitude from the offering price.

STRONGLY advise to get out of LTC ... Much worse things to happen before the end of the year!
How old are you?

The hottest altcoin in term of hashing power is Ethereum. It has 500GH/s hashing power, equivalent to 25,000 AMD 280X. That is more than any other coins.
Much more than litecoin for sure. Unless we're agreeing that Litecoin is not an alt.

you can tell how dead it is by the strength of this thread.
arise chickun !!
the Chinese are making sweet, sweet love with the LTC. It's going to pumped for MONTHS and I'm ecstatic.

Hi all
just got my new computer which came with an R9 i fired up ltcrabbits sgminer just to give it a run out, but was wondering what everyone thought about running it full time? its been about 2 years since i last mined using GPU, is it worth it these days? the diff was significantly lower back then.
im currently getting 2482 k/h with the card.
cheers
No, if you want to mine LTC I suggest picking up a cheap stick miner and dip your toes in the water, 1.2mh/s @ 5w and you're supporting the community. For 60$ worth of stick miners you are getting 2.4mh/s and at 10w and saving your Graphic Card's life. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256818.0This. Support the community and the environment in the most efficient manner possible. It doesn't matter how much you mine as long as you mine! Save your R9 for a cool video game or porn!

Any assist on installing a wallet on ubuntu? Think i'll just stake my stash for a while and try to get some return on it. TIA.

I'd hold on to your bags. This could easily double in price at least.
I hope you're correct:

I'm not trying to be negative, but when my post gets deleted for questioning why pos started at 4xxx block instead of 10000 as originally stated..sorry for not reviewing the code man. it's whatever I'll lose money on this and make money other ways. / sits back and waits.

Altcoins are pretty laughable. Guaranteed I just lost another x BTC on AX. Always gained on digital currency that actually holds value, LTC/BTC. Have this coin prove me wrong. Incorrect statement of when pow ends, instamine, pretty high entrance price. And 'miners' are dictating a GPU X11 value below it. Again, I hope I'm wrong, but much like othe failures I'm skeptical.
The proof is just straight losing portfolio value on anything not BTC or LTC

This will probably get deleted, but this is further proof that BTC/LTC are the only viable cryptos for the next 5 years.

This thread should be locked already, everything that had to be said has been said. We all know litecoin is not dead, this was posted in 2014, we are in 2016 almost, it's kind of a joke to still have this thread here.
Well said. The litecoin is still alive. We should revisit this thread in two years time to see if litecoin is still alive then. I think this thread is the defacto Litecoin discussion hub on the alt-sub. I say keep it open and have it as the general repository for LTC news and movement. And Litecoin is dead.
