So, you think all things got to have some official purpose?  Nah, I don't think so! Sometimes stuff just exists cuz people like how it looks or it's fun or whatever and  the whole idea of purpose is kinda subjective anyway and means different stuff to different folks.  When you look at the big picture of life and everything, some say trying to figure out your purpose is a basic human thing to do, but that doesn't mean every single thing in the universe has got to have a cosmic purpose or whatever.  I mean, take a pretty waterfall for example.  Its just water going over some rocks - doesn't really do anything.  But people enjoy looking at it and hearing the sound of water.  It exists for its own sake.  Or dancing - it don't accomplish anything concrete necessarily but people do it cuz it's fun and it feels good.  Life is messy and complicated like that.

The same goes for Bitcoin.  Who's to say it must serve some grand purpose? Perhaps we're just here for the joy of watching those pretty numbers dance on our screens. 

You have failed to understand that the Services board was not originally created specifically for signature and bounty campaigns; they came much, much later. I don't deny that bounty campaigns are a form of Bitcoin-related services, but claiming that such a campaign is more important or popular than some other "poor people's" service is pure speculation. Do you have some metrics or stats to support such a statement?

Yes, as I suspected, it looks like they created a transaction with insufficient  fee - less than 20 satoshi per vbyte. The current recommended transaction fee is at least 50 satoshi per vbyte.

You have several options here:

1. You can wait for [banned mixer] to be online again and see if they solve your problem from their side.
2. Another option is to use a paid transaction acceleration service like ViaBTC, which you can find at https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator.
3. The third option, as I mentioned before, is to use CPFP from your wallet to create a new transaction with a fee that is enough to pay for both transactions.

Here are the basic steps for using CPFP from your wallet:
- Identify the stuck transaction.
- Create a new transaction that spends the same inputs as the stuck transaction
- When creating the new transaction, make sure to set a higher fee (something like 70-80 sats/vbyte should be enough)
- Sign and broadcast transaction to the network and wait for the confirmation

If you are using the Electrum wallet, right-click on the stuck transaction and check if there is a menu option "Child pays for parent...". If it's available, select it, and then follow the instructions provided by the wizard.

Is that other transaction still hanging in your wallet with the unconfirmed status? Can you check what the transaction fee is in sats/vB?

Right now, mempool.space is suggesting that you need at least 60 sat/vB for your transaction to make it into a block and get confirmed. A few hours ago, it was a bit lower at around 30 sats/vB. So, if your fee is way below that, you might be in for a wait. Now, there are a couple of moves to consider. Cryptomixer could potentially help by using RBF, or you can try CPFP on your end if you don't want to wait for their support.

The transaction fees seem to have gone way up compared to just the other day.  That likely means there's some stuck transaction because of too low a fee.  If it's about sending coins out from your wallet to the mixer, you could try RBF (Replace-By-Fee) to get it moving faster.  But if it's about getting coins into your wallet from the mixer, CPFP (Child-Pays-For-Parent) could work if your wallet supports it.

I think going with "Approach C" is the most sensible option. Using a placeholder value is a common practice in user interfaces, and it shouldn't create any confusion, even for new members.

There's no real standard for whether a private key generates a Bech32/SegWit address, a P2SH (nested SegWit) address, or an old-school P2PKH  address.  It's totally up to each individual wallet to decide what type of address to derive from your private key and  so if you want a specific address type for your private key, you have to explicitly "tell" your wallet what you want.  This is where prefixes come into play. Kinda annoying but it is what it is.

Yeah, this whole thing smells real fishy to me.  The Company Profile page is super vague, with no real specifics on who runs this thing or where they're located.  And the Contact Us page? It's just a generic email - no real address, no phone number nothing.  All the signs point to this being one of those ponzi scheme deals masked as some hot new dropshipping opportunity and  you'd have to be crazy to put any trust or money into an operation this sketchy.  My advice? Steer clear.  Keep your wallet in your pocket on this one.

This dude just won't quit! I've seen him around here for years, posting the same tired nonsense from different accounts. 

He'll make a new profile when he gets banned or tagged, but anyone whos been here a while can tell it's the same person.  His writing style and fixation on certain topics gives him away every time.

We've seen him use fxsurfer, antikvark, Antithesis, Snowshow and probably more and  don't waste your time responding - he just wants the attention.  Better to ignore repetitive trolls and not feed their need for attention and drama.

What kind of half-baked argument is that? I get it, staring at screens all day long probably isn't terrific for our eyeballs, but trying to tell us that we need some health board on a bitcoin-related forum because of that? Give me a break. A little thing called common sense goes a long way.
