641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: January 27, 2017, 10:39:57 PM
I read the thread, I see a lot of guys have bought a Porsche 911 on the profits from Pascal Coin, Polo still gives money to those who bought Pascal C. 500 sat and successfully sold for 100k +, unfortunately I do not have the "train", but I'm glad for the guys who have earned, well done!

I made a bunch of money.  Bought back in and see it's going ack up.  Timing is everything.

A Porsche 911 lol What a waste. Buy an expensive car and yet still work a job you hate just to buy shit you don't need. Why not take that money, start your own business and be your own boss, reinvest it, whatever. They'll probably wreck their Porsche in a month lol It doesn't happen very often people where you buy a coin for 500 sats and you get to sell for 200 - 300x your investment. Don't waste the opportunity.

Thinking I'll pick some pasc coin on cryptopia low market cap looks like it'll be a nice return on investment
Maybe I'll wait for it to go a little bit lower like 200-300 sats I'll pick some up there

Dude. Please tell me you ended up buying at around 200-300 sats?
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: January 27, 2017, 02:55:01 AM

Picked up 5000 @ 9k, I'm hoping my intuition with altcoins has gotten better since I lost half of my roll last year.  As for the CPU Linux miner tutorial, it showed three cores mining about 17NXS every 6-8 hours or so. Is that accurate? Or ambitious? I haven't seen a calc, I'm just curios if it's worth setting up.

Yep got over 45,000 at 9000 so nice return so far.

Expo is coming I think will be interesting, I just bought Stratis  Smiley

When's the expo again?
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 17, 2017, 04:49:07 PM
Why is there such little Stratis support on Polo? Seems there should be more.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARDR][NO ICO] Ardor, or Nxt 2.0, a Scalable Child Chain Platform on: January 15, 2017, 08:03:26 PM
Let's hope it finally takes off!

It wont for now. BTC is launching engines and will soon lift the cumulative market cap to 100 billion. That said, the combined altcrypto capitalization will shrink and one day cross 1K usd coz alts aint worth anything and have no utility in real world applications.

You may be right, but Bitcoin is not ready for mass usage. It is having hard time sending the transactoins just now, the mempool of Bitcoin is flooding and the fees are going up because people don't want to wait 20 hours for one tx. people will start using other coins for paying for their pizza's and coffee, Bitcoin can be gold, but in the current state it's not ready for million transactions. Scalability is a serious problem for the longterm and I glad Ardor (and other projects) see this urgence and try to figure out that problem now. Eventually we will have an advantage.

Hmmmm... I'm not sure what people are talking about. I've sent several Bitcoin transactions over the past few days and all went through in roughly 10 minutes with a fee of .0001 BTC. But yes eventually the network will come to a screeching halt.

652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo ICO - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: January 13, 2017, 03:04:49 AM
Great post from jl777, make sure to read it Smiley

Development History: From a Testnet to Mainnet

Some of you have been a very short while with us, but the development of this overall platform goes back several years. Without that hard groundwork we could never have developed the KMD so quickly. I guess many have not yet fully realized how close we are (me included). The wait is almost over Smiley

Everything is pretty much ready. The few last few GUI pieces need to be connected, and some bugs fixed, and then we will release the easy GUI installers.

After the initial GUI release there is more to come of course. We need to develop DEX GUI, assetchains GUI, and more. Aside from the decentralized exchange we have other big app in the pipeline, and that is decentralized poker (Pangea).

We aimed for the stars, and at this point it looks we will at least land on the moon.

If you missed these, be sure to also check them out:

Thanks for the update! Any news on when Komodo will be tradeable on an exchange?

So does anyone have any speculation as to why Nexus hasn't been added to Polo in 2 1/2 years? Just too low of volume?
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2017 on: January 13, 2017, 01:02:55 AM
Not sure I agree with Steem. Typically coins that have a massive pump like Steem did don't have another one. Probably because so many people bought at too high a price that there's a constant sell pressure as the price goes up by people trying to get out with their money back. Keep hearing about Nexus. Lots of people seem to be wild about it. Decent list though.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo ICO - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: January 05, 2017, 03:20:39 AM
Soooo... Will Komodo be tradable on any exchanges any time soon? If not can I have my Bitcoin back? Lol

Still waiting for BTCD deposit to be enabled on ICO site and then 1 week for the snapshot.  Then 2 weeks after that for node elections and then KMD distribution. So even if BTCD deposit is announced right this moment, it's still at least another 3 weeks before anybody receives KMD. So the answer is >3 weeks.

If you're needing to free up funds within the next 3 weeks, I don't see it being unreasonable to ask for a refund since this has been an inconvenient delay on the development team's part.  We're all just kind of stuck waiting.

Well, I guess I was half kidding due to the price of BTC skyrocketing, but to think of my 1 BTC which at the time of my investment in Komodo was worth $640 now being worth almost $1,200, maybe I'm not kidding haha

658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: December 27, 2016, 11:30:50 PM

On the Road Again: sign up for Synereo’s upcoming alpha release has begun

On our way to build a fully decentralized social network, built on the principals of the Attention Economy, Synereo is determined to release a series of intermediary applications, paving the way for a complete and decentralized platform.

Synereo’s upcoming releases are designed to bootstrap the foundations and network effects necessary to follow through on our vision of a working, populated decentralized and distributed social network; in the process, granting real-life value to AMPs.

The first step on this road is our upcoming alpha. Synereo’s first social product implements usable Attention Economy elements, employing AMPs as a means of social amplification.

If you want to be among the first to play with the early release and provide us with your impressions and feedback, helping us shape the application, feel free to request an invite here:

https://www.synereo.com/

Coming next, on January 20th, we will disclose Synereo’s new development plan, detailing the strategy and milestones on the path towards a platform capable of running Synereo’s social network in decentralized and distributed form.
So Stay tuned; there’s much more to come.

In the meantime, in order to direct all of our time and attention towards the development process, and to provide you with a useful product as soon as possible, we intend to take a short interlude from our traditional weekly hangouts. We are, as usual, available for questions and comments on slack and via email at hello@synereo.com, and we’ll of course keep you up to date here and through our newsletter. Hangouts will be resumed in a slightly different format after the holidays, as soon as the upcoming alpha is ready to be fully disclosed.

See you on the other side.

We appreciate your attention,

— The Synereo Team

Stfu Dor, you scumbag cheap Israeli scam artist. Haven't you robbed your "donators" enough??  For those that have any rational sense, please see AMP for the scam it is.  All this piece of shit is doing is buying more time while he gets away and people forget, cut their losses and move on.

Those of us who have been saying it's a scam have said this during the 2nd ico as the price was going up.  All the red flags were there for a beautifully orchestrated double milking from the "donations" and dumps. Short interlude my ass.

Rot in hell Dor and co.

Wow such anger. It always amazes me what people are willing to say behind pseudo anonymity lol

FYI, newcomers!
Did you know you can mine NXT (and buy Ardor with it on the Nxt Asset Exchange!) in the Lucky node project?
Computational and bandwidth requirements are very low - some users run it on a Raspberry Pi.
Run the node 24/7 or as often as you can while you work or play.
Join in with the over 100 nodes that are already in the project.

I thought the lottery was pretty much over?

So, if Greg's ousted, what happens to the price? Skyrockets because now the internal fighting's over and the team can continue on, hiring more talented devs with their ICO funds? Or does the price plummet because Greg's RChain idea is all that Synereo had going for it, and therefore Synereo is potentially dead, or at the very least will have to reinvent itself? Interested to hear thoughts. And have them be realistic thoughts please lol
