641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Draw betting strategy on: January 17, 2024, 10:45:31 AM
Draw no bet is just an alternative I mentioned just Incase you are not playing a single game and you are staking high
It reduces the risk a little bit
I will prefer to go for straight win or first half win. I do not like to select anything like draw or draw no bet. It is not the type of selection that I go for. But it is easy for me to analyze a match and look for a better team to go for straight win. If the odd is small, I go for first half win if it is worth it.

Other odds that I go for are over 1.5 and over 2.5. Sometimes I go for under 2.5 if I know the teams are not that scoring in their matches and if their defense are both strong but with no good front players that score often.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Higher and lower risks in gambling is the gamblers choice. on: January 17, 2024, 09:21:38 AM
That is normal I think even in life more risks if taken right means more rewards,
Not complete. More risks means more profit or more losses. In gambling, it falls towards the side of more losses than profit.

If you don't mind small profits, you can bet with big risks.
Or if you do not mind small profit, you can bet with small risks. This is how I know it is in gambling. But also minding that gambling with little amount of money is very important. Using high amount of money for gambling is not advisable at all.

Code:
[quote]You do not have to post what is not necessary. I have just gone through the post that you are talking about and you left spaces there yourself. See it in this quote:

[code author=libert19 link=topic=5102095.msg63507698#msg63507698 date=1705412550]
Scorchers v Sixers: Slow start from Scorchers, mere 60 something runs by 10 overs, then we see acceleration from Evans who made 72 (34), good finishing touches from Connolly 37(18)* and they put up a great total of 197 for Sixers to chase, total that was completely out of expectation at first.

Sixers had in mind what they were chasing, they played at 10 RPO throughout the chase, had terrific start by their openers mainly Huges, he played aggressive knock of 74(43), and lastly Henriques who made 43(19)* cemented the win on the last ball by hitting four (1 run was required).

[/quote]

You gave it 11 spaces.

This is spamming. Please stop it.
644  Other / Meta / Re: Allow to make thread self-moderated even after posting on: January 16, 2024, 11:29:12 PM
It will not be good for a thread that was not self-moderated before to be changed to self-moderated by the OP. People will later abuse it. You will see newbies and other people change a thread to self-moderated and delete the posts that they wishes at anytime which good members will not support on this forum.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how wasabi, electrum, exodus ... make money ? on: January 16, 2024, 09:12:42 PM
Wasabi is a coinjoin and the money that would be made should be from coinjoin. I am not using Exodus because it is a close source wallet but it supports altcoins and it may support third parties sites that can be used to convert from one coin to another. Electrum developers are not making money from anywhere.
646  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How To Buy Bitcoin On Changelly - Step-by-Step Guide on: January 16, 2024, 06:31:11 PM
Changelly is an instant exchange with history of forcing people to do KYC. Instead of it, why not use https://exch.cx/ that you can also use with Tor? It has fewer coins but better.
647  Economy / Lending / Re: giftcard as collateral on: January 16, 2024, 02:05:43 PM
Since you have been unable scam anyone, you are still looking for a means to scam people. It is already known from your trust page that you want to scam and you have no other reasons you are hear on this forum than to scam.

I am not lending coins to anyone but let us see what people that are lending money have to say about this. Gift card is risky to deal with is what I know. You will have to know the code that will be used to spend the card before you can send it to the lender. Which means it can not be used as collateral.

This is just another way that you have thought of to scam.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to generate pgp keys? what website is reliable? on: January 16, 2024, 01:49:12 PM
Mia Chloe has already told you what to do.

can i use them to transfer files?
I do not think so. PGP signature is used to verify that file is truly from the legit source and not the fake one. You can also use it to encrypt and decrypt messages.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 16, 2024, 09:58:35 AM
I do watch and observe other gamblers but I didn't think I should imitate or follow them because they make a lot of money in gambling. I'm more focused on observing their strategies but I still have my own decision and that's what I'm going to follow because if I'm jealous of someone else's winnings, possibilities is I'm going to be like  them who are obsessed with gambling. What you feel right now is normal and valid but even so, it's better to follow yourself and focus more on your abilities than on the actions of others.
It is not that people that feel like to increase their betting money are jealous because they see the amount some other gamblers are using to gamble or about how they are winning. It is just in nature of humans to see people like that and feel like doing such thing. But the problem is that if anyone have money like them and bet like them, the person may regret it as he starts to lose more. It is good not to look at others to make your own decisions of increasing your gambling money. But if it is about seeing the strategues that they use, it is a good idea.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspects of online gambling on: January 15, 2024, 11:26:38 PM
I think I understand more of what you want. Is it like a visual table that you get to see and hear, like when you put on a discord call or something? I think it could be done that way so it is somehow interesting or something. And have your visual faces on the board or something.
This makes me remember when I was reading about meta and how virtual reality can bring friends together at a particular place online. It would be good if this can be done in gambling in a way that people can meet at an online casino in a way they can see their virtual form, gamble and communicate together just like land based casinos. If the equipment that will be used are not expensive and if gambling sites are providing such service, I will like to gamble this way that can make online casinos look more real.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 15, 2024, 10:32:03 PM
Of course I will withdraw it, and leave 30% to continue playing. I'm not the type of person who likes to gamble crazily. It's better for me to lose 30% than to have nothing.
You are not getting it. If he won, he is going to win over $30 million. But if he cashout he is going to cashout almost $1.85 million. That is more than 1600%, not 30%. But not good to be greedy.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5481687.msg63504648#msg63504648
But maybe you prefer to risk it all, it depends on you. I only speak from my point of view when I am in that position.  Wink
[/quote]
It is not worth the risk. The best is to cashout as we all are saying. Almost $1.85 million is a huge amount of money.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 15, 2024, 08:42:48 PM
i have been in the same situation when cashing out would have been the best option but because i waited i ended up losing.
This has also happened to me before. I had one match left which was to be played a day after, all matches won and it was over 10 odds. I waited until the next day and I lost the match. I wished I had cashout before the match started. With this huge kind of winning if I cashout, no one should hesitate or think twice before cashing out to become a millionaire than to be greedy and later lose the money, although he might win the match but I will not wish to win it but to cashout and if is even a won match, I will not think about it at all but be happy that I cashout which is better for my thinking.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xmr mixed with Btc, good idea? on: January 15, 2024, 05:56:32 PM
Let me make this clear for you that no created coin that exists that is better than bitcoin. If you want privacy, you can go for monero. But you should know that there are other ways you can use bitcoin and have privacy without converting it to monero and back to bitcoin. You can go for coinjoin, mixers and swapping
654  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Breez/Electrum/Coingate on: January 15, 2024, 05:20:47 PM
Breez is a lightning network wallet. You can create an invoice on Electrum if you open a channel and use the invoice to send the coin from Breez wallet to Electrum.

If you do not have a channel opened and can not open a channel on Electrum, you can use exchange like Binance, OKX or BitMart. They all support lightning network. Use the exchange to receive the coin and send it using the bitcoin network to an address on your Electrum wallet. The fee can be high and you may have to do KYC.

Only BitMart has certain withdrawal limit that you will not have to do KYC, but read about it very well.

Why reset password with secret question not working?
Can't you read what was written?

Quote
Secret Question:
To help retrieve your password, enter a question here with an answer that only you know. Using this feature is not recommended. Anyone who guesses your secret answer will have access to your account. It's like a second password.

It acts like your second password to have access to your password in case you forgot your password. It is not used for resetting password.

If you want to reset your password as you forgot it, that would be done through email. When you want to sign in, click on forgot password to proceed.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 15, 2024, 01:56:00 PM
Having few games as single bet is better than parlays that a single bet will destroy all the other matches. But what that matters most is the calculation of the money that you can afford to put on the match that you selected. Let us assume you can afford to risk $5 on a single bet. You should be able to afford $1 for five matches individually. If the person wants to go for parlays, $0.5 should be enough to accumulate five matches to earn almost the same money that those single games can give you, but the risk is high while the money used is far lower because it is 10 times lower.
657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has this forum helped you gain experience in bitcoin, share your experience on: January 15, 2024, 11:56:49 AM
This forum has been really helpful for me. It is the good members that are posting that make it helpful for me. The first thing I learn about more on this forum is how I can protect my bitcoin. If I can protect my bitcoin, I can also protect my other coins and tokens if I have them. I learn how to stay away from scam. Before I come to this forum, I do not easily know scammers, but now I can easily know them and avoid them. It has been a nice and the best forum.
658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Most straightforward way to swap XMR for Bitcoin on: January 15, 2024, 09:58:05 AM
Hi, I have some XMR in Cake Wallet and want to convert it to Bitcoin and put it into Coinbase. What is the most straightforward way to do this? Am in UK which means not that many wallets seem to handle XMR.
Thanks
If you have a good computer and you are ready to download an app, you can go for a decentralized exchange like Bisq.network.

I also like what logfiles posted: https://www.getmonero.org/2021/08/20/atomic-swaps.html

You can also go for instant exchange like https://exch.cx/. Do not go for the common ones that can force you to KYC. On https://exch.cx/, you can even use Tor.
659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies be aware of this "exchange" type of scam. on: January 14, 2024, 03:21:49 PM
How were you able to sure that it was real money and not just a number?

First it was in my spot balance on the exchange and that was withdrawalable when clicking but needs to send $150 USD after clicking the final withdraw button after filling all the address and other info.
On exchanges, it is not your keys. Even if it is a legit exchange, what you are seeing is not money but just a number. The ones that are real is when you have the money on your wallet and you have the keys and you will be able to know that the coins are on blockchain and not just a number that you are seeing on exchanges. It is not real coin even in legit exchanges not to talk of fake exchanges. This is what some newbies may not know until they are scammed.
660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies be aware of this "exchange" type of scam. on: January 14, 2024, 03:12:53 PM
This was real money, after finding out this I quickly rush to signup on the exchange
How were you able to sure that it was real money and not just a number? But even if it is real money, you do not need to rush to sign up on the exchange. But I think you know what to do next time. First of all, as it is from Twitter, the way you were reached, you should know that you were only targeted by scammers. But you should not bother but check for the date the domain of the exchange is registered which is not quite long. That would be enough evidence that they want to scam you without registering on the exchange.

It's possibly or definitely a scam
You know already that it is 100% scam. Then not possible buy definitely a scam.
