641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia’s Sberbank and S7 Airlines to sell flight tickets for tokens on: August 26, 2020, 09:16:20 PM
First, the Russian government has banned the crypto ecosystem in Russia, and old aged crypto projects have been moved to Russia, Ukraine, Latvia. Now the biggest Russian state bank wants to take advantage of the transparent blockchain ecosystem, how ironic it sounds. The Sberbank is the largest bank in Russia and I doubt the plus sides of blockchain will cover the shady system behind it. Now it is time to rethink their viewpoint toward crypto&blockchain and I hope the Russia will not ban the crypto trading. Maybe there will be a new law about accepting cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.
642  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: August 26, 2020, 08:46:29 PM
UI/Design seems attractive. This is a Open Source wallet? Can you please share link if it is?
The fee mentioned on the buy crypto page is Fee: 7 USD* is this fee is fixed or fluctuate?
It is partly open source since there is no fully open source crypto wallets,AFAIK. For your first question you can check this reference by thread manager to similar question:

~

We intend to reveal the code. Partly. When the product is closer to what it's meant to be, with the enterprise and dev functionality, and most of the options for users are implemented, so that we have what to show indeed  Smiley Once again, there are no fully open source wallets: if it reads 'open source', it doesn't mean you'll see something but frontend opened. At least it's true for more solid, multifunctional products

The fixed fee is applied for buying crypto with OWNR wallet but the additional fee or bank commission can be charged by card issued bank. For getting more information check this video:

643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 26, 2020, 08:35:57 PM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
All those "tokens" you are seeing will die eventually. I doubt any of the existing coins/tokens will be able to take over ETH. The new coins/tokens/projects that pop are just some shit projects/coins that are here to scam people.
We can never know if a new coin take over ETH. Perhaps if such a coin is created that solves almost all existing problems of ETH, maybe that can take over ETH in price value.
I am sure you have never heard about the Polkadot project which is the biggest competitor to the ETH blockchain. The latest rumors about getting listed on Kraken and the acceptance of Binance make it the unbeatable in this competition. All necessary details have been designed to stay longer than other alternatives, so finding this kind of gem altcoins requires a lot of research before it gets discovered by other investors.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: looking to the future of crypto on: August 26, 2020, 07:28:41 PM
It is a game in the form of a zero-sum architecture. The investors look through the possible investment options and decided to invest in the specific crypto project based on their personal investment bias. The scammers know what to do during the bear market aka crisis for crypto projects and they don't regret to take money whatever they can take.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 25, 2020, 11:47:15 PM
No, I only use crypto rating to see the position. but the rest I still do my own analysis and to make sure whether the crypto rating matches my analysis or not

It is the proper way for you not to be victimized by any scam projects, rating site can be manipulated and if you'll based your investment according to them  the big chance that you'll be scam by those developers.

I personally do not believe in any ICO ranking site, before I invested in a project it was certainly based on my own research results. I know that ICO ranking sites are paid, and do not guarantee that their data is correct. So, think logically and not to trust any ICO site.

Most of the time ICO's are just full of junked you'll charts but complete fakes data. be well aware to avoid losing your money.
For preventing getting scammed by fake reviews we need the reliability checked, controlled review platforms. Last year, there was a token sales-focused Ravein platform which has been based on honest reviews but till now have no idea what projects have followed this path. Logical reasons are not compulsory to invest in the "proven" projects because there will be a bias of other people. No one can guarantee the concrete return on the investment but they can influence the mass opinion. This is the point we need to change the feedback system in our favor in order to avoid getting scammed by scam projects.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: August 25, 2020, 09:12:29 PM
i still believe ethereum price will be higher a hold option would be better even though it has made a profit , I speculate that the highest price will be $ 800 by the end of the year
ETH is just around 400%, its price is so lower nowadays than 3-4 days ago. But as you above said ETH deserves more than this price. l believe also that this coin will be the highest price like 700-800$ till the end of this year. In my humble opinion, ETH holder should be more patient and wait for this day. It is not away from us, it will happen in the near future.  There is a good reason to believe in the ETH's future for obvious reasons, there will be more demand more than supply. From the economical viewpoint, when demand exceeds supply the price will surge or maybe retouch ATH
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 25, 2020, 08:13:56 PM
I think the pandemic has created a lot of crypto enthusiasts anyway, and awareness and adoption of cryptocurrencies is no more limited to a small faction of people. As for your need to invite, dont see any problem with that, because i cant see anyone not understanding the risks of any market investments.
People who don't know anything about this world are so late, to follow new technology always will help to be in the first place. This world makes a lot of things in our life so easier and we can realize that people are increasing day by day here. l do agree with your opinion on that the pandemic has been the reason of lose people own work and then they focus on this world. No doubt we will see more people here in the future than at the moment.

656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is the price rise on Coinbase pro different to Binance on: August 20, 2020, 09:34:21 PM
The main issue is all about liquidity, so there is a requirement for all crypto exchanges to solve this at the first place. GBP  pairs are the volatile exotic spot forex pairs which can move more than %8 in a day. Imagine merging the volatile crypto pairs with it and the liquidity will be at the lower levels along with the huge spread.  For example, GBP/JPY pair is the most volatile forex pair and that is why many traders avoid to risk more than 1% in single trade with exotic pairs. The similar situation is case for volatile GBP/altcoin pairs.
Do GBP currency will really have that kind of percentage volatility in a day? 8%? For fiat movement then im not really believing this much since fiat wont really he moving on a very large scale in 24 hours.
Also im not really that convinced on comparing fiat/fiat to fiat/crypto pairs because it is entirely different. In topic reply then price rise differences will really depend on liquidity on each platform
where it do involved volume and activity inside the platform. So you would definitely see different percentages but on a very minimal gaps.
In spot forex, it is unlikely to happen because the both currencies represent the strength of the country's economy. Around 150-200 pips daily movement is standard for GBP/JPY and with adding illiquid market conditions this percentage movement can jump to daily 8-10%. Depending on the platform, broker the difference can be bigger than the mentioned expectations. If the theme is about the difference then we need to look the all variations which affect the bid/sell spreads.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden altcoin gem on: August 20, 2020, 08:10:47 PM
I think that not a single person can tell which coin or token is a hidden gem,

Hidden gem is just a term, even with research you can't know is the coin you invest a hidden gem

with well research you will be more familiar of the coin that your hodling or trying to get and you will know if its a hidden gem or not . like on  movies for example they termed a  movie a hidden gem if the movie is not famous but the movie is enjoyable to watch or verry worth it to try . not just on movies but it can be on games , music , items , etc

same concept when investing in cryptos  . if the coin is unfamous but if its has a great aspect it can be a hidden gem too .

This is not right viewpoint for making a nice ROI on investments because almost 90% of the small marketcap hidden altcoins are born dead. The ratio of becoming useless altcoin project is always bigger than reverse. Unfamous project means a undiscovered potential if the team can apply the well-planned roadmap as it expected on whitepaper lines. Hidden gem projects are TOMO, AVA, SNTVT, CATT, TNB now and I watch closely these projects in order to catch a investment opportunity in the near future..

659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020? on: August 19, 2020, 09:59:32 PM
Currently ETH is correcting, the price of ETH has gone down to $ 400 and is still showing signs of further decline. Hopefully it can hold above $ 380 because if this price is broken, it is more likely that ETH will go down to $ 300 again. Btw this year I hope ETH can go up to $ 600 if ETH 2.0 is updated this year
I doubt the price will surpass the $400 soon. The support line is around $250 and I prefer to wait for this decline so I can invest more in ETH. The price is not going to climb the high points all the way up, there is a need for correction sooner or later. The current price levels are overrated and the decline is loading until the end of this year, IMHO.

Eth is holding its position around 370-400$. Last time we have seen a massive pump! Also eth 2.0 is coming soon. What we can expect the price of eth at the end of this year?
Eth price will be based on ETH 2.0 which will emerge. if indeed ETH 2.0 is functioning properly and giving maximum effect, we can expect if the price touches $ 700- $ 800 by the end of 2020
You can't expect such rate will be happening at the end of this year. AFAIK if the ethereum 2.0 will have done next year and this year the price of ethereum will be sitting at $600 as this year ethereum core developer can do 50% from the full update on ethereum 2.0

ETH is around 400$ now and anything above 500$ closing for this year end will be good. Lets see if bitcoin continues to rise, ETH will also rise else vice versa. So above 500$ for now is my next target for the ETH which is the minimum and hopefully it can even cross than and close much above in 2020.
Closing bar of chart will be around $300, in my humble estimation. The above numbers can trigger the bull market which is not going to happen unless BTC can repeat the same trade cycle like in 2017.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull run is coming? on: August 19, 2020, 09:49:04 PM
Binance alone is not enough to start the bull market the single exchange volume is only a simple indicator for measuring the total interest by investors. The price of BTC can climb to $14000 and the majority of the traders can open the sell orders on Binance. Not all high volumes show the signs of the bull run. Having a double turnover of average day doesn't mean we will see the bull market in the nearest future because we have seen a better "excuses" for starting the alt season but it has never been happened.
