641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or Fiat? on: April 07, 2024, 07:37:43 PM
I know that fiat is better in terms of regulations, when the banks bankrupt, you have a way to make a complain and FDIC might recover your money. While in stable coins, either the CEX bankrupt or the token ruined, you can't do anything.

But since banks charge monthly fees and my local banks not give exact 1:1 conversion price to foreign currencies, so I choose stable coins.
From what I have experienced if bank go into bankruptcy, another bank that is capable to acquire the dieing bank would bought it and sed it to one of it branch in the location. So all the customers that were in the bankruptcy bank would be automatically transfer to the new Bank. That is how it has been done which I have seen. But cryptocurrency I have not seen transfer of ownership. And when FTX collapsed all the investors funds were lost and no way to recover it. And it was a centralized exchanges so if the same then happened to Decentralized Exchange, the same thing will still happen.

But even at that people still choose stable coins over fiat Bank. And because of the charges and no value added to it but in stable coins the matter what if you keep your coins for years something must add to it and you will have profit from it.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created my cryptocurrency - CSS on: April 07, 2024, 07:00:34 PM
I created my cryptocurrency - CSS....I have ideas about what to do with it but first I would like to give some to random people. How can I do that?

Op you are scammer, how could you create a digital currency which is trending in the internet and want to send your coins to people and you don't know what to do. Is that joke or what? As a developer of a coin you have to create a wallet which will be use to store your coins. Then you ask people to open with seed phrase then you ask anyone Who has gotten the wallet their address then you send the coin to the address.

Op what is the name of the cryptocurrency you have created or it is now that nyou are planning to create the coin?
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unbacked stable coins are a big danger on: April 07, 2024, 06:55:16 PM
Really people are afraid of bitcoin volatility because they don't know if they will make profit when they want to withdraw it. But even at that I still prefer bitcoin because it gives joy if you are hodling for long term. Many people still not believe that bitcoin will hit $120k in the all time high after the halving of this month. How can one even think of  investing in stable coins when you know that nothing will enter. Is there any different between stable coins and fiat currency? They look alike. If one one invest in stable coins, he will still withdraw that the same amount again.

But stable coins are still better then unbacked or unrecognized projects in the ecosystem. Those are projects that have not been recognized by any community. And it is not good to invest in them.
644  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Growing Nigeria's Digital Economy on: April 06, 2024, 06:38:03 PM
Op do you really understand weti you dey talk at all. Nigerian digital economy e don help people to have jobs. Na your mouth I dey first hear dis kind things. Where di job dem dey wey we no dey hear am. My man Nigeria still dey far from the uses digital economy. If Nigeria understand digital economy dem for no allow Binance leave di country. Nigerian digital economy is stagnant and not even moving to anywhere instead they are looking for whom to blame. Look at the eNaira, how many Nigerians dey use that wallet or service? Nigeria Technology (ICT) e dey very weak and dat is why we even have slow network with high cost of data. Technology in Nigeria never contribute to the growth of the country economy. Nigerian economy is just dollarcentric with crude oil and not anything from the tech department or ministry.

Me I don't know where you go get you information. Di problem is even caused by di government. Dem no dey ready to develop the Technology ICT ministry which na di Ministry Of Science and Technology. And di only thing dey know na to suffer di citizens with bogus registration of line, collecting high registration fee from any digital job done by them such, NIN, Sim card, Mobile Data to browse and and others. Oboy no talk dis thing for another place oh. Nigerian digital economy e no dey grow anywhere.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: How does one know and join the right community after a job loss? on: April 06, 2024, 06:09:40 PM
Your story confused me but that is not withstanding. Losing of a job has nothing to do with joining a community or forum to fullfil your dreams. Is it because of this forum you are bringing this topic? Well let's face the live situation in this case. When you lose a job, it would be painful because at that time you are jobless and probably you are the bread winner in the family and you have the family responsibilities in your head. I don't at that moment you will be mindful to look for a good community to join but it is better you look for another job to do either minor or average to feed yourself and others first before you think of looking for a community to job.

Joining a community to full your dreams is wrong habitation. Meaning your are going there because of money and mind you bitcointalk is to invest and that is the main purpose of it.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 06, 2024, 04:58:12 PM
Since the money is just in the bank and they are not using it then he can use it to invest in bitcoin. It is a good advice but before you ask him to invest, you have to ask him if he will like to invest in bitcoin and explain t the advantages and the disadvantages and if he likes to invest then you have to teach him the basic knowledge of bitcoin how to create wallet account, how to secure password and the seed phrase and where to buy bitcoin and sell. And when he has known all these things then, he can invest in it and make sure that he understands the volatile nature of bitcoin so that when bitcoin is in the dip he will not panic and disturbed.

It is good to direct and guide people to invest but don't invest for them. Because no f you invest for and any slide downturn from their end they call you name. And if you invest for them in the Bull Market and Bitcoin enter the dip and if the dip long then they will blame you for it. So to avoid all that just teach them and let them invest in it.
647  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Naija they take full advantage of Bitcoin on: April 05, 2024, 11:59:09 PM
The unemployment is even making us to hustle hard to survive in the hard economy. Buhari mistakenly called Nigerian Youths a lazy youth but in the whole world Nigeria youths is the hard working but it is the government is her problem because when they are trying to create good environment to do business and other activities the government will would come and destroy everything and in some when herdsmen you r Boko Haram destroy the farmers products and when we call the attention of the government they would take side with the them.

And me I have seen this kind actions from the government and the bandits and nomadic people. The normadic peot their own na be the worst. So when cryptocurrency came Nigeria youths use it well and Bitcoin has helped a lot to become millionaires.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: April 05, 2024, 11:18:34 PM
We cannot blame the fraudsters as they are inhumane and lacks the humanity else they won't be cheating and robbing innocent and foolish people. I think we need to be very cautious but still there are chances users can be fooled at least expected platforms I see everyday people are getting scammed through the fake e-commerce sites and all. This has to be stopped which is possible with only harsh punishment for the preparators else they will keep on figuring out new way to fool us. We need strong cybersecurity and anti scan system in place the scammers should be traced and punished.
Are you for sure? You are saying we should not blame the scammer or the fraudsters. This is hilarious. A scammer came to and deceived me and go away with my money or property and you are welcome should not blame him. You and Op know that they guys use charms to catch their victim sometimes? And if yes will you still not blame them and blame the victim? Well everyone has their own experience and opinions on matters like this. So I will not also blame you and probably you have not been scammed so you don't know how painful it is to someone.

I have heard a story that scammer visited a house and convinced the man and scammed him and slet with the wife. Those are not ordinary things. In all ways I blame the scammer and not the victim whether conscious or not. They are sometimes scammers force victims to surrender their belongings to them, if not they would expose them and all those are part of the tricks.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few crypto questions. on: April 05, 2024, 10:59:21 PM
That is why you are to invest in the altcoins that listed in the popular exchanges and not the ones that not in any exchange. When you are investing you to make research before you invest and the things to look at before investing in the community support of the coin and how the population of the coin and is the coin a stable coin or it is a decentralized project. Those are some of the basic things you have to know before investing. Many people fall to know these things before investing in those altcoins and memecoins and later regret in them.

And also look at the network to know if it is free to invest or not and to know the transaction fee which is the most important thing to know before embarking on the investment.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest 1k in altcoins on: April 05, 2024, 10:28:25 PM
Op please tell in simple grammar because as it is, I am confused of how to respond or to start. Well let me also beat around the bush to answer your question. If you looking for an investment platform when you can invest with $1000 from among the altcoins then I will make a little list for you to see. And Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin and finally Eloncoin and among all Eloncoin has the minimum wage to invest in and it has promising life in the future so your profit making is very much sure to come. Ethereum and Solana are also good but for now their network is congested so if you are investing in them, the amount you will get will not big enough so I will advise you to invest either in Eloncoin or Dogecoin.

651  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The internet and crypto on: April 05, 2024, 08:06:37 PM
Cryptocurrency been dey since but di knowledge nai never reach dat side. Even Bible sef talk am say nobody go do new things and everything dey on existential. Na for us to discover am. And in this present day people dey talk say money wey dey internet e plenty pass any other course of study. If to say internet no dey like this we for no know where we for dey because crime for like normal business wey be like some theorist tok am shey di strong people nai dey survive.

Internet don help the jobless people get job and di hopeless have hope. Bitcoin don create millionaires and billionaires in the world.
652  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Boring Market Right Now. What You Got? on: April 05, 2024, 07:47:26 PM
Everyone see the market from different ways. And for me bitcoin is on it best time going to the sky. And the only boring market is Ethereum and Solana which I even ves to invest in them. Op I don't know if you are just coming to the cryptocurrency market. From the beginning of the journey bitcoin market never stable and it is always on the side of the volatility. And as you can see, two days back bitcoin was $65+k and today it is $68+k and there are times you will see it above $70k so na so di Market dey now and it is not boring at all.

So you f you dey trade you have to understand the movement before entering the market if not my man you go lose weti no good. Me sef I don trade am before and I see how it happened.
653  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Government demanding from Binance the lists of its Nigerian users on: April 05, 2024, 07:37:22 PM
EFCC been want arraign the remaining Binance staff wey dey under their custody and the man Gambaryan denied say him no be Binance officer and now EFCC no fit arraign am again because him now no be Binance officer. Him no be their agent and him na CIA him be and not an agent for Binance. So the question now who is winning the case? Nigerian government and her agencies fought the fight from a wrong angle. Dem for no attacked Binance like dat but dem for use policies and the law to hold the down. Now they are on the losing side of the fight.
654  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 5 keys to wealth creation in the crypto space on: April 05, 2024, 07:03:11 PM
You don try but to make money in this ecosystem e no dey hard like that and no fit need all those things wey you mentioned. I know say some people don tell you the things we need and I will also like to talk my own but I don talk am before and I want to talk am again. Di first thing you need to do first na to k ow how to invest. You need di basic knowledge about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies that you want to invest. Then you go open a wallet wey you want o use for the investment. All these processes na person wey Sabi do nai go direct you oh. Then you go fit buy the coin from someone wey you know say dey sell.

Then you go dey buy and hodle till the All Time High. But before you start your investment make sure say you dey do business so dat you no go touch your investment money.
655  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Four Lucrative businesses you can start in Nigeria on: April 05, 2024, 06:35:10 PM
For me four lucrative business one can start in Nigeria are:
1) food stuffs business
2) phone accessories
3) hotel business
4) bar and restaurant
I buy dis your idea more than the Op suggestion. Fish Farming if your fish die then you go lost your money. POS because na one of the most risky business in the world because all those yahoo boys na POS dem dey face. Then internet business no be here oh. Weti you dey sell to market am for online no be here and renting canopies and chairs and others e no dey easy because those dey lost well well. But for the ones wey Lambugini mentioned e dey less risky than the Op own. Food Items Shop which na di popular name na Provision Store na good business but e good when you dey a place wey populated.

Phone accessories na another good business hotel business na money own. I prefer restaurant more than bar.
656  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: ARE THEY MAKING MONEY FROM FLOOD? on: April 04, 2024, 11:34:02 PM
Let me start from di topic. Yes flood is the period Governors in those States make a lot of money. And big politicians make a lot of money from international and internal donations. But those who really suffered and affected by the flood received nothing but one sachet of indomie a d five cups of rice and probably one mosquito net that one is even luck. The former minister of disaster was arraign because flood funds by Tinubu government.

And weti dey cause dis flood. Climate change dat one follow I no go lie. And na dat one even di government dey take dey do their manipulation dey get their share. Then another thing wey dey cause am na di government himself because dey dey benefits, and other subgroups wey e dey involved for dis matter na Vita Foam company, exporter and importer of rice and indomie, mosquito net, and many to mention. All this Companies e dey involved for the flood disaster in Nigeria. Tinubu don declare say flood e no go come again. Lolz. Yes flood e no go come and I know di reason but na another day tok.
657  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria Government Detains Two Binance Executives on: April 04, 2024, 11:04:18 PM
I think Binance now dey challenge dem to release their. Binance said Nigeria Economic does not know how to predict, and manage di economy. A d nai me we dey suffer. Dem say di second Binance officer wey still dey DSS custody no be Binance officer but na contractor wey Binance hire to come and help dem to clear some kind of things in Nigeria and when di gbege happened dem been dey come to settle di matter and investigate di matter na the agency gbabu dem. So make Nigerian government release di American citizen. And make Nigeria no blame dem for devaluation of the naira and the high cost of living and inflation in di land.
658  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Regulation of price by the government on: April 04, 2024, 10:54:31 PM
Binance insulted Nigeria government yesterday in one of the online news we I read. Dem say Nigeria is confused of her economy. Why her economy is bad and making di citizens to suffer dem no even know. Oh Naija my country you are a fail country. And for di Op you don do very big mistake for telling di Nigeria police to regulate goods and services prices. Na die we go die there. There has been an government agency that wet e dey in charge of regulating goods and services in the and na Customer Protection Commission (CPC) and when Goodluck came he appointed a lady in that parastatal and she was working though not that much because the funds were not enough to move around. But when Buhari came he eliminated the department and merged it with ICPC which is dead department among all di agencies.

Customer Protection Commission should come back again and they should employ di vibrant youths and finances the department very well because they have to move around probably Market to market to see if things are moderated in the varies Markes.
659  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Technology a lasting solution to unemployed youths on: April 04, 2024, 10:43:49 PM
I dey normally tell people say money dey internet pass physical work. And for now those study computer in school and made great grade and focus on their computer work and base internet matter dem, my brother money e dey there. Now weti dey ground be say na just for the unemployed youths to channel their skills, innovations, technologies to di internet so that dem go do well and forget about di government works. Though na for the government to provide workable environment for the citizens and Nigeria tht workable environment e no dey. Herdsmen, Boko Haram and Kidnapping is one di fearful things wey everyone dey fear for their life so di environment is not secure for us. Even you dey ur house dey do your thing, your mind e no dey at rest.
660  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Make we dey very careful about Bitcoin minimum deposit for some exchange on: April 04, 2024, 10:36:40 PM
Yes OKX has a minimum deposit and if you didn't check before depositing the minimum required amount then you coins will just disappear. Before you even deposit the amount they would notify you and if click continue to proceed then as for them you have agreed to give them the coins so they would accept it but that is very wrong and it is scamming. See dem weti dem tok for di minimum deposit.
It is 0.0005 and this is equivalent to NGN42,082.00 as for now. Meaning anything wey e dey below that amount is for them and that is nonsense. That means Binance was still the best.

In Binance you can trade with 0.00006 and buyers are everywhere. OKX na scam. Deactivating do app soon.
