641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: April 22, 2024, 08:12:28 AM
Your first point is extremely correct. Desperation can make your situation worse than it originally was. I’ve seen someone gamble with desperation and he said that he’s staking all he has so maybe the return will match the amount that he needed, and he lost it right in front of me. That’s the worst time to gamble, because you’re focused on getting that amount of money and you’re controlled by it.
If someone want to make money, it's better for them to trade futures or buy shitcoins. At least if he correctly predict the market or correctly picking the right shitcoins, he can earn a lot. While gambling, it's high unlikely someone will win.
@oktana, so some people are still so foolish in this current dispensation? That is bad, it is a way to truly show folly, for I can't relate it to ignorance anymore because you never sounded that this person is not an experienced gambler. Well, I am certain that he would have learned his mistakes by now, but if he is still defiant towards it, he will continue to learn it bitterly. Gambling is not just the avenue to make money when we are desperate, and if we already have enough capital and not that we are desperate for money per se, good business and investments are key.

And at @Solosanz, you did well by advising against betting if someone wants to make money, but fine, one may still try their luck in casino games but let them be very reasonable about it. I am certain that serious people will only take and treat casinos the way it is and not misplace priority regarding this because betting can never be substituted for business, investment and other services that will almost certainly guarantee your return. But your suggested options are still risky nonetheless. I don't see a huge difference (in risk) compared with the people betting and trading futures, and not even those investing in shitcoins. Though they might help in some cases, the risks are high, but if you are lucky, you might hit it big at once. But some shitcoins investment is tantamount to losing your money as well because they will always be falling and will not rise. I have a friend who bought shitcoins and I must say he should not even think about the money again because, in this bull run, the shitcoin that has lost about 98% of his money has not risen up to 1% of its ATH till now. Owning to this, the best is to engage in businesses and serious activities if you have the capital.
642  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 22, 2024, 07:25:50 AM
I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.
They do not understand or they let themselves be drown in gambling believing that they can gain huge. Because this is the usual reason of gamblers who became addicted. They can't stop playing, unable to control themselves due to this desire of gaining money. I agree that if these people (trying to engage themselves in gambling) are aware of the rules and the bad effects that it might cause if you gamble excessively then they can prevent themselves becoming addicted.
One of the problems of gamblers is that they starts gambling with a greedy mindset, which they think gambling can generate steady or quick money for them . This has being the problem why people go too dip in gambling and they find it so difficult to be free from it.
I think it is a common thing that beginners are so desperate of making money from gambling that is why it is hard for them to understand that their is more to know about gambling. But I think some casino always advice gamblers to play responsible but many gamblers don't take their time to read up because what they are after is just to make money.

The keys to successful gambling remains:

👉👉 Don't gamble with greedy mindset.
👉👉Never try to run after your loss
👉👉Try not to gamble everyday. Try to have some break in mid of your gambling.
👉👉play with only the money you can avoid to lose.
👉👉Let the reason you gamble just be for fun

If a gambler without experience can follow those rules, I believe he will hardly see reasons to blame himself/herself for coming into the gambling world.
These are undoubtedly good points my friend and it is good for us to show the beginners the right way. This is also applicable to experienced gamblers who are still facing huge challenges with gambling, because, for me, it is never too late for them to retrace their tracks and do the right thing. First, if gamblers get it wrong from the beginning, it is a problem and will continue to affect their gambling activities, experience and results no matter how much they try. They should have gotten it right from the beginning when they were still learning as the right learning and good sources of doing it are price. They are the best guide for anyone since it is part of what will build a solid foundation.

In fairness, I do not see how the gambler who learned rightly and was forewarned about the issues in gambling will still be greedy or aggressive/desperate about getting the money. This is except the gambler is naturally foolish on their own. The first thing that should be learned in gambling advice should be the neutrality of the gamblers above all things, and this will be buttressed towards the whole psychology of gambling for the best experience. Also, gamblers should never aim for the money, but the fun, and if at all the money must be made, it should be engaged reasonably and with the right risk that will not hurt in any way.

The management in gambling must also be taken seriously as it works in line with the psychology, because I wonder how a gambler who missed it in the area of management and risks so hugely and loses will be able to manage his psychology. This is why learning rightly is so important, and if the gambler is wise and smart, even if such does not earn so big, when losing, the losses will be minimal to avoid being pained.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: April 22, 2024, 06:43:41 AM
even experienced gamblers can't accurately predict the possible outcome of the game, upset is always present even how deep you made your assessment and research, and even how knowledagble you are regarding to the game and on both competing teams, there's still chance that you may lose your pick as you must remember that you are inside gambling and risk is the big factors why you may lose your money.
That's what we must realizes because when we depends on the experienced gamblers to knows what they select, they can't always accurately predicts the right team. But if can learn the analysis, we can have a chance to improve our skills so we can be experienced gamblers and pro gamblers and we will have our chance to wins the games. But we can always hopes that we can wins the games because we must realizes that the match can change in the middle of the games so we must place a bets for having fun in our spare time. We can research from many sources to seek the information but we must considers that we still have a chance to lose. So we don't have a high expectations to wins and only having fun by placing the bets and we knows that, we will not be too passionate.
If they were experts in the first place then there's no way that they would really be trying out to let someone do follow them or would really be trying out to give or make some service about for people to follow or having that subscription or not or even if its for free and boast up that it do came from an expert in gambling then you should really be having that doubts already.  Also, its not really that entertaining i should say if we do speak about
trying to make out some bet according into other peoples suggestion whether its an expert or some people you dont know publicly on which making out some selection out of their own picks is never been
that recommended. You would really be finding yourself that be entertained if you are someone who do make out some analysis into the picks that you are making.

It's an easy way to make money if it's for sure that they can accurately predict the possible outcome of the game, but there's no onewho can do that, I guess more on self-claimed and for those experienced gamblers who can make money on this venue, they are quitely enjoying and they are not going to share whatever strategy they've got knowing that the house or the system might interfere with how they analyze the potential results.

We don't have need those prediction if we are aiming to win, what we need is the knowledge to analyze games and that kind of nerve that can take when it's needed to take that big risk.
About the betting reliance on experts, all I can say is that people do not often believe in themselves, they may even do it better than the so-called experts if they are serious about it by learning and getting it done. But because they call it premium or just coming from some external source, they believe it is better than what they can ever do, but they are wrong. The needed information is always right in front of everybody, especially in sports betting, nothing is hidden here, it is always all about how best you can gather the information and use it to your advantage. But for the casino aspect of gambling, it is difficult, nonetheless, the difficulty is for everybody, not that the experts know it better in any way. I've seen them predicting rubbish in lottery games and some other games, they do not have any supremacy the way some people believe.

But mind you, no one will know the trick of the system of the house the way you believe it, and if anyone says they know it, they are lying. I am sure the house is no fool, and even as they've already made the system working for them, I am also sure they will continue to vary it to avoid a thing like that, out of experience.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 22, 2024, 06:11:13 AM
A lot of social media influencers especially bloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their blogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?
You only said they promote the casinos/companies that sponsored them at the end of the videos, but I see it differently here in my country, it is worse as they promote them from almost the beginning, in the middle and in the end depending on the influencer. Well, I do not have issues with that, big influencers could deliver good and useful information, so as we enjoy them, we can sacrifice that as well to keep the activity running. But these days, it is getting too much, there is no more regulation or consideration for the young people. It got worse with the traditional TV programs and even city billboards, you will see enough gambling adverts there, and it is not refined to some certain age anymore.

I do not know how this will affect the next generation, but I know that it is morally wrong. And the government is not saying anything because it is more money for them, well, at least for my country, it could be better in a serious country. The influencers should be sanctioned if the beginning of their video does not warn of the adult-related advertisements, but still here in my country, nothing of such is happening yet. Even YouTube and other platforms that are unannouncedly poping adult-related adverts in videos should be heavily sanctioned to curb such menace. At least, they should have warned the viewers about what they could see in the video and the adverts attached to it.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 21, 2024, 07:03:02 PM
This high fee is probably due to the 4th halving that was completed. I haven't seen this type of transaction fee this hight.

If you look at https://mempool.emzy.de/, the current transaction fee is  over $50 but in the past few hours it was over $100... So if you are a gambler who doesn't gamble that much like your range is only $10 to $100, it's impossible you will choose to gamble today with that very high fees.

This is only for gamblers who use bitcoin as the payment method, how is going today? Who among us here can still afford to gamble?
Thank God the Mempool is now better, it was scary in the wake of halving and it is not acceptable in a sane system. The miners have once again demonstrated their selfishness and continue to cause issues on the Mempool. I was able to see almost around $200 fee at that time, which is insane and a taint on a system like that of Bitcoin that other cryptocurrencies were supposed to look up to.

However, it is good for us to foresee a thing like that, I had foreseen it, since miners that could be exploiting people on a normal day, how much more would they do on a special day like that? In future, in a time like that, having enough money in your gambling account is good, this should be able to serve well until the whole situation comes back to normal.

Also, Bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency to make deposits into casino accounts, use the alternatives. But if your casinos doesnn't allow that, they will be the ones to lose, just deposit into another casino account and continue to enjoy your betting as usual.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 21, 2024, 04:19:23 PM
Taking a break sometimes work but I can guarantee you it's not all the time that this method is effective enough because sometimes even with the break, if you are still grieving about the previous lost you might still end up losing more but for the case of him actually changing the game he currently plays, well I don't really know what to say about that but sometimes changing a game you play might take some time to actually master the game and know some of the odds or games that might work for you that's if the game isn't 100% luck base .

Sincerely, I'm intrigued by your response on players who ponder on their past losses. Those memories can't be erased, but it's a sign the gambler has no new option that picks his interest. When on break, it means eliminating any worries about gambling. It's like the gambling habit is paused and won't be resumed until the designated time for the vacation elapses. A player whose facial reaction worsens out of his thoughts on past gambling losses isn't doing himself a nice favor. Changing games may not help actually. Due to the continues involvement in games. That makes no changes.

Switching from one game to another still takes out money from the gambler. Hence, trying to stop a losing streak by switching games, is not healthy. The idea of a break is quite better and more reasonable. As it helps the player to reminisce on new ideas in developing a better gambling strategy. One can't think further if he's still tied down with gambling on unique games. Slot games that don't require certain experiences wouldn't have any effect in affecting how the player enjoys the game. This means that he'd easily play other slot games, which wouldn't help stop the losing streak.
I share your points, they make so much sense, and I believe that anything we do in any risky activities should be erased from our minds if they are negative. This is not only because of the activity but for the sake of our health and moral self and for us to be able to be focused on what is in front of us in future and not pondering on what has passed. The past has passed, it should be left behind and that is also the reason why we should use the money we can afford to lose in gambling to make it easy for us. Also, I've condemned the supposed advice of the OP from the beginning and hinted that he was just lucky, and nothing more. I even dared him to replicate a thing like this before advising people to do the same.

If he can replicate it 3 times while he changed games and won big solely due to that, then I will believe him partially. Anything about gambling is not easy, we can only be lucky, but we should not misplace the fact that luck is different from chance and when you are lucky, just know that you are lucky and do not believe there is a perfect arithmetic or reason for it. This advice is more important in casino games, you can't be smarter than the house and the algorithms you are playing against.

However, trying other games is not necessarily bad, one may try it as it is not also good to play a game all the time. What if there are opportunities lurking in the others? This diversification was what, at least, helped the OP in his case.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making bets with my stupid friend on: April 21, 2024, 04:02:32 PM
-snip-
Do you make bets with your friends?
What do you think about this experience  ?
What a story! All I can say is that you guys are not serious, I can't be betting with friends and not collect my money. I am even stricter in that regard and must have ensured that the money has been technically escrowed in the hands of a trusted third party that will only deliver it to the winner. This is so because I always like it to be a deterrent to those people who are too lousy and mouthed about their beliefs. There are some people that can't even argue reasonably and constructively, you can't have a good discussion with them without leading to arguments. These people annoy me so much and I am now taking it upon myself to do as much as possible to stay away from them to avoid unnecessary shouting and annoyance, especially if they are too perfect in their views. If such people are the ones I challenged into betting, oh boy, they should forget that money, I will not even flinch or pity them in any way.

As for your questions, of course, I do bets with friends and family members on friendly notes. And you can refer to the above opinion for the answer to the other question.
648  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: April 21, 2024, 01:03:31 PM
playing gambling in a conscious and relaxed state will be better and minimize excessive losses, as OP said, playing in a semi-conscious state, we don't think about what risks will happen and we just take reckless actions, it's best to avoid them as far as possible
That is just the actual fact. Gambling is a very Risky game that is very difficult to win on a normal conscious mode, I wonder what will really happen when it is played In a semi conscious state. Playing gambling on drug will only make you feel devastated when you regain consciousness  because all what you did was under the influence of drug and it may further make such person comit suicide after such person might have used up all his life savings.
Any gambler that gambles when he is on drugs or on a semi conscious state does not know what he is doing and is irresponsible. This is because he is already an addict for him to try such, if not why will he think of gambling when he is not on a normal conscious mode like you said. It is hard for addicts or gamblers that are close to addiction to stop gambling when they are losing because they want to win back their losses. Talk more of a gambler that is on a semi conscious state, he will wake up or after he has back to normal to see that he has lost all his bankroll, even though it is $1M.
We can't generally treat cases like this the same and entirely judge the situation as an addiction, what if the person took the drug for one reason or the other, especially drugs like tramadol but is not consistent with it? So I like us not to change the view too far. All I believe this context is about is for us not to try to risk our money on gambling when we are not in the right state of mind. Whether we are sleeping, under the influence or others, but doesn't necessarily talk about addiction per se. There is the possibility of someone trying to play some scheduled games, what about that? The fact that the person is fighting sleep or intoxicated might still want him to go for it, and we can't call it an addiction but a purposefulness.

Notwithstanding, if the person is not such that has a strong mind to fight the intoxicant and sleep, it is better for him not to even dare to bet. If not, he might make a whole lot of mistakes that will not be able to be redeemed for long.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can people still get the addictive nature through friendly games on: April 21, 2024, 12:36:32 PM
-snip-
So am just curious to know if these little games are the one's that got to him or already developed such habit and to know if possible that the practice will continue elsewhere after leaving there when he lost the money and to look for means through gambling to recover it.
What you narrated has nothing to do with addiction but speaks of someone who is fond of himself. This is pride/ego in action. There are many people like that who are so overconfident due to too much self-belief, and it could either work for them at times or put them to shame like it did in this guy's case.

Talking about addiction, I am sure that it is not an addiction because I've seen many people who do not gamble or who are not addicted to gambling calling out for a bet for the fun of it or for a true challenge. And if I am sincere enough now, am one of them. I do challenge people into betting, which I still did last night. But certainly, I am not an addicted person but a darer who is willing to put some people into a tough task for their folly...lol

In all, I hope that guy can calm down next time, it is not in all things you will be bossy and be behaving like you know it all.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: April 21, 2024, 10:23:40 AM
Dip markets are standing in front, so now there are ample opportunities for those who want to buy bitcoins to invest quickly in bitcoins. As a result, you can buy bitcoins from this market and hold for a long period of time, and reap maximum benefits. The halving has taken place, so prepare now because the bull run is just waiting to start.  And taking advantage of this opportunity, everyone holding Bitcoin can sell their holdings in a bull run.
Bitcoin is now risky to buy straight up like that, perhaps it could be more appealing to buy after waiting for more weeks. This is for it to fully show what it wants to do over time. Halving is not an automatic bullish trend activator for it, and by the way it is currently behaving shows that there are high unwillingness to commit money to it. So, it is best for investors to wait if they want to risk it at all at this high price. I've been carefully studying the behaviour of Bitcoin since the beginning of this year, it has not been easy for it to rise, especially after hitting above $70,000, it lost liquidity inflow and it tried for so long until it got subdued to the level we see now.

Had it been the ETF saga of last year did not happen, perhaps it would be better for Bitcoin to easily rise now. Well, we should thank the ETF as well because it helps the coin grow significantly and has done what it has not done before ever since it was created by holding close to its former ATH of the last bull run. But at the same time, this is possibly a discouragement for investors, because what it is supposed to be doing gradually now has been done initially and it could cause an overall negative sentiment in the market if care is not taken even after the halving.

Talking about halving, it took Bitcoin many months before the effect, or should I say tradition garner enough investment that later causes FOMO in the market which always warrants more Bitcoin purchases. Regardless, let's see how it goes this time that things are a little bit different. Left to me, I do not see anything spectacular about Bitcoin in the next 2 months, halving or not.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investment a necessity or a want? on: April 21, 2024, 10:00:14 AM
I think those who are thinking of investing now may face big losses as the price of bitcoin is constantly falling so most of the tokens will start dumping. I don't want to mention any month but during this year you can get rain in a big bull market. So if you are thinking about holding top altcoins then wait for some more time. If we talk about the emergence of new coins during this period and the decision to buy these coins then your risk will be high.
The price of Bitcoin may be a bit high right now but I don't think those who invest new will suffer. Bitcoin has already been halved yet the price of Bitcoin is trending upwards, I think we are headed for a major bull market in the future. New projects have no guarantee that anything will happen in the future. If you can start investing in top altcoins or bitcoins now and hold the investment, you can experience good profits at the end of a big bull run year or next year.
I don't see things your way, people who are just investing in Bitcoin should be very concerned, no asset without its challenges, unlike the way you are talking about Bitcoin as a safe haven. For the record, it is safer to strike your investments at the low levels or at least at the middle, but Bitcoin getting closer to its 2021 ATH is just a discouragement and only aggressive investors who do not care much about their investments can buy and not get worried by buying at an unsafe level. In all of my investment understanding, the risk is more than the gain in this regard, and as a conservative investor, I would rather hold my money than cause high blood pressure for myself.

For now and until the next bearish phase is over, I can only be trading Bitcoin on the futures market as usual, with that, I can properly speculate, place my trade, set my stop loss and take profits in an independent manner. With these, I still have a say in the market by managing the trade and my trading account properly, and also repeat the process again if I want. Fine, Bitcoin is a good asset and still has a good prospect of hitting higher levels but if care is not taken, it could boomerang on our faces. This asset is still very young, we do not know what the future holds for it. People are hailing it just because of past performances, but we should never forget that past performance is not an indication of future success.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doesn't higher bitcoin prices more than compensate for reduced block reward? on: April 21, 2024, 09:35:21 AM
As a miner if your  block reward is cut in half but the value of the reward has more than doubled from what it used to be then shouldn't that more than compensate you
for the loss in quantity you are getting post-halving? In other words the value of the reward is what matters not how much of it you receive?

The value of bitcoin can be expected to at least double with every new cycle, along with the number of people using bitcoin.
So miners will also be receiving at least double the volume of transactions fees as bitcoin becomes more popular and more users are entering the space.
I love the angle you brought this from but many could be confused and might even be trying to support the miners ignorantly. This is what has been emboldening them and warrants the high fees payable in every Bitcoin transaction. Miners should not just complain, they've earned enough Bitcoin in years and the price of Bitcoin will always be an encouragement for them as this is an investment that will never fail. The price has been skyrocketing and has turned some of them into millionaires in USD. This is as they continue to earn BTC in hundreds of millions of dollars yearly with both their hook and crook ideas of manipulating the Mempool to get it congested so that they gain more money in that process through fee hikes

Can you see the insane fees currently in the Mempool? It was worse shortly after halving and these guys continue to feast out of innocent people who do not have a choice but to use Bitcoin for transactions. Over time, I believe something has to be done about this, the activities and excesses of miners are too overbearing. Had it been that Satoshi did not leave the system as he/they did, it wouldn't have been like this where they've turned the entire blockchain into a full-time business in a monopolistic way.
653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: In what cases does Binance asks for source of funds ? on: April 21, 2024, 09:18:10 AM
I have seen some threads online of members complaining that Binance put a hold on their accounts and asked for source of funds. In what cases does this happen and how to avoid it ?
I've also read enough about this but it has never been an issue for me because regulators are on the necks of exchanges as well so they have every right to know their customers more by asking for the source of their funds. Regardless of whether your funds look genuine or not, if it is big to an extent and they couldn't do the internal transfer verification to ascertain whether the funds have been small in value before they grew to that big level due to investment purposes, they might ask you to prove your source of finds.

This is an international practice to counter money laundry. Also, if your crypto address has been linked to bad transaction(s) initially, it is possible for them to ask for additional proof of that fund to exonerate yourself. As for me, I don't see this as a big deal, if your money is clean, just give them what they want and both parties will be good.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: April 21, 2024, 09:02:11 AM
`
For me, it is a blatant lie which was conceived by mere imagination that was not thoroughly thought through. Both the land and online casinos open that business solely for money-making purposes, the two are Business and nothing more. Also, the two are finding opportunities to add some kind of more fun and extras, and for sure, the land-based casinos have the opportunity to add those extras better than the online casinos since you can enjoy some kind of true VIP treatment and physical luxuries, unlike in the online casinos. And since it is an online casino, you can't blame it, it cannot do more than its online capability.

For the record as well, the land-based casinos gain more money than the online casinos, and this is because of the extras they added. Now, tell me, if not for the money, why are they adding the extras that are more hospitable-incline than the key purpose of gambling? It is all about the money and the more they plan on this, the more money they realize so far they've already gained relevance and attention as well. With this, people will soon turn it into a resort and tourist destination which is evident in the way we see the big casinos these days.
Most individuals know less about gambling than you. Businesses must earn a lot of money. Correct. Their system is designed to earn money. Real casinos earn more than online ones. Everything else they offer fancy? A well-planned strategy is not compassion. Feeling like high rollers and getting special treatment costs a lot. You cant blame casinos for taking advantage of this long-known fact. The hotel industry operates this way. Though ugly, it functions well. They show off gaming with expensive stuff because they care about money, not your pleasure. You know what? People always fall for it.
You have good points there, but I will not conclude like you in the regards that people always fall for it, no, they know why they are there and what they are buying. I would rather say that such casinos created the avenue that people want, so they often find their resort and comfort there, and of course, for a token, it can't be free. I know you will have the knowledge of how much people are parting ways with for tourism, entertainment, fun and excitement, name it. If you can provide that for them, they can spend their last card on it. Some will even go and come back to spend even more and also bring their friends and families, that's the gust.

This life is short and when God has blessed some people already to be able to afford some money to cater for some side fun of life, they will definitely create it. Some of those big physical casinos are only being levelled casinos but are actually fun places. And I would say that those physical casinos are more business-oriented which in some cases earn more for the casinos than the bettings. They are purely businessman/women and their core goal is to keep their visitors satisfied whether in gaming or the side attractions attached to it. In other words, will always naturally amount to more money for them even as the customers enjoy the service. So I rather call this a win-win, and not them (customers) falling for it.

Why will cloudflare will ban you on accessing the casino using VPN. I’ve been using VPN to access the casino in the past for long time without any problem. This is my first time to know that cloudflare can ban you when VPN was use. Can you give me some reference for this?

Although it's not on gambling websites, there were a few instances where I've been blocked by cloudflare but this was just because of the IP from my VPN provider and choosing another server solved it.

IDK if cloudflare goes beyond blocking IP addresses and how often does that happen but I'd say, if the block is not coming from casino's end, it's likely that there will be ways to access the platform.
This is serious and I've not experienced it before, perhaps the IP must have been known for so many bad activities or what? Well, on another thought, maybe it's the automatization of the fail2ban protocol, and of course, the change of the IP will do the trick, especially if one can leave the region entirely since their IPs with the VPN service could possibly have corrupted and flagged. It is even better that someone is blocked immediately than for it to later cause issues due to the tagging of a particular website. Also, I suspect the weak and free VPN in this regard, which is why going for the strongest VPN is the best if you want to use it with casinos, though I do not advise this because it may cause issues if care is not taken. But there are some that are military grade or more, I do not believe that it can be decrypted easily that it is a VPN unless the IP is generally from unaccepted regions.
656  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 20, 2024, 03:19:57 PM
Yes, I have faced a similar problem myself. Therefore, it is correct to say that a casino deposit is just numbers on the screen. And only when you really withdraw money from the gambling platform can you consider yourself the one who really has it in his pocket. I had an unpleasant experience withdrawing money from PokerDom - this platform did not want to approve my verification for withdrawing prize money from a poker tournament. They requested different documents five times, after which they began to ignore me altogether.

Yes it is basically a fact that the amount in the casino credit is nothing more than just a number, or meaning that no matter how big the amount of your winnings but if for example you have not withdrawn all the money to your pocket then I would say that it still cannot be called a real victory, because obviously there is still the possibility of things that are not wanted to happen such as the incident you experienced where the casino made it difficult for you to make a settlement for various reasons which actually the reason is just something that will distract your mind as well as something that will be the defense of the casino itself. They will say that you made a mistake or violated a policy or rule that has been set by the casino so that with this they usually make your winnings as collateral, and actually all of these problems are unclear which in the end the scenario ends with your account being frozen, my friend has experienced something like what you experienced.

Yes, you have a point in what you say, and I also agree that if you don't actually spend all the money we win, it can't really be considered a complete success. We know for ourselves that when we take out a large amount in a casino, the casino itself will not allow it.

There will be a thorough investigation if the player has a violation of their platform or something suspicious, and if they find something, they will ask for a KYC all of a sudden,
and that is their right.
Am I reading right? Did you mean crypto casinos? I don't think it is always like you said it. If you bring huge money to casinos which is not the amount in excess of their allowed deposit limit, I do not think they will deny you that, especially if there is no reasons to be suspicious about the money. But it is when you are trying to withdraw a huge sum that more investigation arises, and they could be asking you even for the source of funds which I believe they should have asked you even if you deposit or trying to deposit (in case they reject it initially). But asking at the time of withdrawal could truly be hypocritical like many have alleged because it doesn't denote fairness.

If they can't block huge amounts of money or ask questions shortly after the deposit to know whether or not to refund the gambler, but upon filing for the withdrawal, it happens, is hypocritical. Why is that even allowed in a licenced casinos? Well, let me call it too much freedom, the freedom that gives them the right to be too flexible to do and undo as they like.

However, if it is to request for the KYC by the casino, I have nothing against that, after all, if they are not no-KYC casinos, they have every right, only that in the moral sense, it should also be fair when it comes to deposits as well.

There is, 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮, although there's no prediction about upcoming cryptocurrency hype.
Yes, there are different sites where several predictions are made... Do you really have to make it obvious that altcurrencies are a total gamble?...

Royce made a good point! Hoping on a trend by creating a website worth atleast $500 minimum for  predictions would be as good as buying some memecoin in CEX without retrieving the seedphrase.
I'm just curious though, how is it related to gambling?
Sorry man, but did you read the post at all?

Altcoins have no defined future as most of them have no tangible development plans. Because you know what? Most are created for the mere fact that the "devs" behind it only care for their pockets. Once their pockets are full, they will slow down in giving updates to their community. Up until they pull a stunt of dumping it on the market and disappear into thin air. How many projects have gone that route? I believe, most of them. You can only count those valuable projects that are continuously achieving their promised objectives to its investors.
Don't let us take it further than necessary, there are ways of doing things and it is not necessary to include all altcoins in the project, there are viable ones that can be easily added, and of course including Bitcoin. But first, the person who mentioned Futuur missed it totally, that platform is a different prediction platform that if a serious bettor opted for would only be wasting his time. That aside, the main market predictive programs should be in the form of binary options, though it could be a bit twisted if it is a gambling site offering it, it shouldn't be much, just the way I saw it in a few places. What I saw has become something else, so it will be very difficult for gamblers to gain in that sense. What's the point?

As for your remarks about the great projects among altcoins, well, it doesn't matter the way you viewed it. Good altcoins are many, but you down-talked it as if they are few. If good altcoins should be counted now, you will still count more than 100 easily. But this kind of project doesn't even need that much. Projects like this in the Forex market often carefully choose about 10 currency pairs to use for the betting. Are you now telling me that we can't see altcoins that are up to 10 that are good in all senses and that can be used for the project?
658  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: April 20, 2024, 12:33:46 PM
if somebody wants to selfexclude from Fairlay, i could buy their old account from them (its anonymous anyways, only email and password, which can be changed).

WIN - WIN
Unfortunately, you are only looking for the account to buy and not helping anyone at all. And the fact that you bought the account doesn't stop the psychological addiction of the gambler which is the context here, so your suggestion is not even good, but selfish. No one will sell the Fairlay account and will not have access to many other gambling sites and even use the proceeds of the money from you to gamble. What has that changed if you would be fair about this?

Needless to say, Fiarlay is not even that serious gambling site but more of a predictive site, except for the added sports kind of betting exchange.
659  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: April 20, 2024, 12:18:12 PM
Initially, not all countries avoided accepting Bitcoin as money, but in this case they are slowly starting to accept it, so like gambling, you need a license or individual approval, but if it continues to develop, you have to comply with the applicable rules governing the ownership of something related to Bitcoin or Crypto will be of concern to the state and taxation will be continuously monitored until they get the results they want.
I don`t think that serious countries will accept BTC. They have their fiat money and it is enough for all purposes.
Taxes we get on the profit. And i don`t think that someone get a bill with BTC in it. No, we got taxes in fiat money. I don`t like it but it is correct - when you get any profit - you pay taxes.
I don't see any reason for serious countries not to accept Bitcoin contrary to what you said. Like I always say, they should stop denying themselves the money due to them due to ignorance and excesses that are not being thought through. They should rather regulate and not castigate. If the US and the top-rated countries of the world could allow Bitcoin, I don't think we need more seriousness anymore because these countries are indeed serious. Bitcoin is not a necessary evil, it is just a means of transacting that is decentralised and that could call for some privacy and anonymity in some cases. Notwithstanding, the government can still make the casinos or any company dealing with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies accountable in their country with strict regulations that should have been well laid down.

This is to avoid issues like cheating, illegal flows and tax evasion. My country turned a deaf ear to this and has missed billions of dollars in a few years even as the citizens continue to give free money to those companies. This is foolishness in my opinion, and in all good sense of thinking, if the countries can reason it through, they would know that regulation and strict enforcement would have taken care of the involvement of their citizens and the companies dealing with Bitcoin by making them accountable for transparency. They will have access to the inflow and outflows, now tell me, what else do they need to be serious countries?
660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving, how low the price can be? on: April 20, 2024, 10:13:24 AM
Next month will be Bitcoin halving, how far can the price go down? or how high can the price go up?
The halving finally happened on Friday, and as expected, nothing serious has happened in the crypto market so far. I believe it will take months before the halving of this year attracts investors to Bitcoin, and by what happened due to the ETF fillings of last year and its approval this year where the price of the market has been pushed higher, I do not expect immediate reaction caused by halving. I also fear for less reactions as well because Bitcoin is being hyped during this halving time, but this time, it is overpriced already. So I am concerned about those who will invest more money that will help it to move much higher at this high level.

Regardless, if the past histories of the halving and its cycles are to be considered in relation to the present reality and the condition of the market charts, I believe that this year's halving should help Bitcoin reach at least $100,000 with time. Again, there may be some discouragement over time, but still, if more adoptions could be gained by it, maybe we will see it between $100,000-$120,000 before the end of this bullish cycle.
