645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: December 31, 2023, 10:10:24 PM
In gambling wins and losses are sometimes based on luck. from a logical point of view I suggest that the poor lose more and the rich win more. This is because someone can become rich by multiple win  and also someone can also become poor by multiple losses.

Another important fact to note is that the rich make higher stakes than the poor therefore making their wins more profitable than the poor.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: December 31, 2023, 10:01:39 PM
A lot of diversifying opinions.
On many occasions especially depending on the majority idea per say, gambling can either be perceived as bad or good sometimes people can even regard it as a neutral act.
Many a time I have come across some persons who frown at gambling activities just because of religious beliefs. However I believe in the fact that it is actually a neutral act as long as it doesn't become an addiction. You don't expect someone with a majority win in gambling to declare it wrong.

Thank this is exactly what I thought.  My sentence is weaker <> but some may want to use it.

You may think the grammar is weak but it literally will serve its purpose.

I hereby release this to anyone renting their spaces on BitCoinTalk

1) "I will be the person that decides to let you rent the 3 spaces or reject offers I don't like.

If the service I rented to is banned or turns into a scam,

I would  stop advertising it and possibly would not refund the advertisers payment."

I am certain other members will be glad that they no longer have to face the stress of composing a post of this nature.

At LoyceV would you consider releasing your  statement for people to use?

As it kind of is like a commandment so to speak. Or a rule

"I only advertise services that I like. I reserve the right to reject offers I don't like. If the service I'm advertising turns into a scam, I reserve the right to stop advertising it without returning payment." LoyceV

I am very sure Loycev would be kind to allow free use of his writeup.
Loycev is definitely very good with his choice of words. I respect that and I guess I may have to steal that lol.
649  Other / Meta / Re: So I have an interesting problem. on: December 29, 2023, 06:17:17 PM
I understand your point and it is very reasonable to have made this thread.

You are a well reputable member here on Bitcoin all and as well as the most Recognized.

Therefore my simple suggestion  to prevent you from plagiarism is; I suggest that Loycev creates a thread to fully authorize the use of that application format without using his name as a reference.

This would serve as a form of general license.

Congratulations for now deciding to venture the crypto verse.
However is asking for many resources here necessary? A lot of newbies come here to ask for articles and videos like this , but how many of them actually make use of these resources? Only a very few.
Nevertheless Hatchy has dropped some resources here and I recommend you go through them. Like I always say the easiest way to understand the crypto space it to  be active here on this forum and learning by reading quality posts. This forum contains a whole bunch of info about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. You can even notice that when you make a crypto related search ,Bitcoin talk is usually among the top 10 results.
652  Other / Meta / Re: What new changes would you like to see on Bitcointalk in 2024 ? on: December 29, 2023, 10:50:30 AM
Bitcoin mixers should be allowed back.
The moderators are doing everything to ban plagiarists. About mempool congestion, it is normal because as it started, people transactions are stuck and they will ask about how to solve the stuck transaction. About congestion mempool, this is not related to this forum but to bitcoin itself.
Come on man it's obvious that what I actually wish is for the Mempool to be less conjested. Because obviously, if the Mempool becomes less conjested people will no long create topic complaining about high fees or looking for solutions to fix the situations of their stuck transactions.
As for the mixer ban it would definitely be a thing of joy if it was removed. However with the current situation of things, sadly I don't think it would happen.
653  Other / Meta / Re: Why do some campaign members posting essay? on: December 29, 2023, 08:22:25 AM
OP, it'd help if you posted an example or two of what you consider to be an essay, because that word might not mean the same thing to both of us.
Exactly. Most of the time when most members attempt making contributions they tend to give every single idea they have at that moment concerning that topic. Come to think of it , what would a quality post be on this forum if it lacked proper and detailed information?

Definitely it has always been encouraged to make quality contributions here than spamming with just a few lines in some cases. I don't think most people who actually settle down to read such replies see them as an essay. I mean what harm could it be reading 10 lines of a quality reply properly arranged in paragraphs be?
654  Other / Meta / Re: What new changes would you like to see on Bitcointalk in 2024 ? on: December 29, 2023, 08:15:27 AM
There has been a whole lot of changes this year.however I would love to see less plagiarism, less use of alts and most especially I would love there to be less posts about conjestions in the mempool. It may seem like so much to ask but I wish it was possible so Bitcoiners here would not have to go through the stress of battling ways to tackle the current high fee problem anytime they wish to make transaction. Like come to think of it part of Satoshi's idea was to make a suitable and easy peer-to-peer currency. But lately Bitcoin has become more of an investment than a P2P currency.
655  Other / Meta / Re: To login I had to go thru over 50 captcha is this normal? on: December 28, 2023, 07:34:25 PM
To login I had to go thru over 50 captcha is this normal if you have a clean ip (not blacklisted)?
Is this normal if your using tor browser?
I understand how frustrating going through multiple captchas can be. As for you question, it actually depends on the kind of browser you are making use of. It could also be as a result of your VPN.

It is quite normal for people who use privacy protection browsers like Tor to experience such things. If not you can switch to using other browsers like Firefox or chrome.
You can also make use of the captcha bypass button on the login page.though you need to be careful when using that as it can be used by hackers to brute force your login.
656  Other / Meta / Re: Do Users Own Their Posts? Is There a Compelled License for User Content? on: December 28, 2023, 07:27:50 PM
Of course users here have full rights to their posts.that is why plagiarism is not condoled here.
It is also important for you to Note that when making a post you should also put reference sources you used for your research as this would prevent you from be accused of plagiarism.
If you wish to publish or create a code here on this forum , and you wish to have full credit you can first publish it on a place like GitHub first before bringing it here.
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers, When Will You Sell? on: December 28, 2023, 12:45:56 PM
I really admire people capable of keeping bitcoins in their wallets for years without even moving them. I see wallets that their owners never moved coins from for 10 years and wonder how they do it. If you're a HODLer. when do you hope to sell? Would you cash out if Bitcoin soars to $100,000 or sit back and wait until it gets to a million?

ONLY for HODLers please. PLease share when you'll be happy to sell.
Every Bitcoin Hodler has his personal target most of the time and when they get that target most of them sell. However in general people sell their Bitcoins when they can have a profit.

Long term hodling when it comes to Bitcoin has proven to be the best over time. This is due to the fact that Bitcoin has been progressing over time.

Short term holders sometimes don't wait for a large profit margin to sell. Some even sell at any time just like The Cryptovator made mention in one of his replies that he most times sold Bitcoin without the aim of profit . It is important to  also note that trading and hodling act somewhat like a balance system in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Acquires 14,620 Bitcoin, Don't get carried away. on: December 28, 2023, 07:55:20 AM
Why don't we do the same. As respective crypto ethusiast, continuous accumulation is also required, no matter the amount.
What do you think?
Well it doesn't work like that.
The clause;  "invest what you can afford to lose" has a very vital impact in the actions investors take , especially those in the crypto space. We know Bitcoin can be trusted to a very high extent giving its performance over the years. However as an investor we should never ignore the fact that it is still a crypto currency. Therefore "invest what you can afford to lose" acts more like a fail safe , or backup plan for investors in the crypto space.

Investing more than you can afford to lose sometimes comes with a whole lot of profit in the end but it is also accompanied by great risks.

Don't forget to keep your keys safe
660  Economy / Services / Re: A Project Management Expert on: December 28, 2023, 07:44:29 AM
So what you are saying is that no newbie should render any service here because of their rank? Because am pretty sure that I have come across some newbie,junior-member and member rank offer some good service here that turned out to be useful. This impression about all newbie not being reliable or good enough to do anything here is just something else. I have seen many newbie account actually offer casino, job, and even escrow service that turned out to be useful. I believe most people with service just like the account of sometimes new casino don't have the time to constantly post or grow their account to the expectations here.

No that's not my point please don't get me wrong. What I am trying to say is you don't need to do so much introduction here or to start explaining your achievements offline before people here can pertronise your service.

What I am saying is let your service speak for itself.of course some newbies here render nice services here. The reason why most people don't trust newbies here is because of the fact that many have come here to spam and scam. but the forum will definitely work well with you if you stand out. Besides every legend here was once a newbie.
