641  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 14, 2020, 04:37:28 PM
I’m really getting tired of all these comparisons Angry. Man, nobody knows the future, we don’t know what’s going to happen and the way I see it, no cryptocurrency is replacing the fiat. The government is not going to allow people to be making use of a currency that’s decentralized because when a currency is decentralized that means they are not going to be able to control that currency so what’s the need for it? They will never agree with the idea of adopting cryptocurrency as the main currency.

I would say that things are just going to be as they are and people will be able to make use of whatever they want to use, whether it’s cryptocurrency or fiat. Cryptocurrency will be considered an asset.
I used to say that Bitcoin will be replacing fiat one day but someone said something that made kind of changed my mind, and this time around I just believe that Bitcoin won’t replace fiat rather it will remain just an asset that can be used by anyone that wishes to make use of it, but not a replacement for fiat, we will still be making use of fiat. The reason Bitcoin cannot replace fiat is because Bitcoin is decentralized and being decentralized means that there is no way it can be controlled by the government.

The government is not ready to adopt a currency that they don’t have control over it, regulation is important in lots of ways.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 14, 2020, 03:59:56 PM
I don’t think that any epidemic or even Coronavirus can stop banking.
Even right now that there is an outbreak of Covid-19 a lot of companies have asked their employees to start working from their homes, and banks are not an exclusion, in fact JP Morgan has asked thousands of their employees to be working from home.

In every company it’s not really everyone that are asked to work from home, there are still some of the employees that their jobs requires them to be coming to the office, but they would not be spending as much time as they used to do before now.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do ? on: March 14, 2020, 02:44:16 PM
Actually the best way is to put a small bet on such event and once its settled in your favor then move to the support team and explain them the bug with proof (the won bet id) and they usually credit you with a decent bonus for the bug since you mentioned they are big casino and well reputed.

While if you follow the wrong path which is what most people will follow because it brings instant money, the problem is once the casino finds the bug and realize the exploits you have made they will either ignore you if the amount you ran away with is small or if the amount is big they will use all the IP logs of yours and chase you down with all the proofs on their side.

Now choice is yours but I still believe reporting the bug will get you better bonus and self respect than exploiting it.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 14, 2020, 12:04:28 PM
Maybe there is but I dont think so what benefits they get on this slandering and destroy other gambling platforms just because of their business. But it is hard to prove if they dont have evidence once newbie asking support without exact valid proof. Most of the issues like that will not entertain others once you have a lack of support as proof. As I noticed is that regarding withdrawal and bug issues.
But, when you hear there is an scam accusation being made against a specific casino then it actually creates a doubt in your mind whether I should gamble or just choose another one. This is the main reason why it might be true that some casinos that are new to market pay guys to slam bigger casinos to attract a part of their audience and gamblers.

Still  that said, these slandering attempts also do some free marketing for the alleged casino as the name is spread among the market and more people come to know about the casino, for example there are users who don't visit the gambling section and they will get to know about such casinos and once the casino comes clean they actually get more free advertising.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 14, 2020, 10:58:41 AM
In time of crisis, its probably best to stop gambling but it will be with someone's perspective. There could be people who will gamble their last money hoping they will win their bets before finally stopping. The worse of course if he lose it all. The current crisis right now isn't yet turning to its worse so its still fine to play around as long as you are not breaking rules, making your family dysfunctional and most importantly you spend money that you can just afford to lose.
Actually there can be two types of crisis one is just financial crisis and the other is timing crisis because while it sounds simple but timing crisis can be really a big problem. For money crisis usually people go for all in and hope to win back like you mentioned.

But in time crisis when for example you are a student and you have exams next month then suppose will you be able to gamble at all? The answer is NO because you are in such a time crisis that you can't allocate enough time for gambling and there is no way you would be gambling when you have exams on the head.

I personally feel though that time crisis is something that can actually help you quit gambling for good while financial crisis is just a temporary menace which once gone you get back to gambling.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 13, 2020, 04:55:41 PM
Well, simply it has made its biggest move so far yet today. NBA is suspended until further notice, when NBA gets suspended rules says that related to nation wide health concerns that is literally minimum one month and that will come to April when the playoffs start. So, we are basically at the risk of not having any NBA this year at all. Not a lockout, no a small amount of game, not a 50 game season, we are talking about a year with absolutely no champions at all. That means so many things for NBA and we can't gamble at all.

I am not even sure what outrights will do, many people wagered that Clippers or Lakers will be champions, since there is a chance that nobody will be a champions, if season doesn't return we are talking about millions of dollars just going back to gamblers.
647  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST ☕SOCIAL➡🔺PLINKO🎲DICE🎰SLOT🔲KENO on: March 13, 2020, 12:02:26 PM
That is about 40 bucks just for jackpot for free, that is one of the highest I have ever seen. However lets not say that there are no other websites who do not give away that much. Freebitco.in has 200 dollar one, it is quite rare that anyone ever hits it but there are people who have hit it before, you have to draw 10000 in a 0-10000 roll so it is quite rare chance to hit it but it has happened and that is more than 0.005 at least.

There could be some other but they are mostly back in the day as well so I can't calculate those, nowadays many places have removed faucet because it is getting abused and instead give people free money for doing stuff like writing to their forums or whatever and not faucet anymore so it is still awesome to see there are places left that gives away big numbers like bitvest did.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 13, 2020, 08:20:16 AM
A few simple steps and precautions are enough to protect your cryptocurrency assets from hackers. From what I have seen, if you use email confirmation using a Gmail account, hacking incidents can be prevented 99.99% of the times. Only using laborious methods such as SIM swap, a hacker can steal coins from a wallet which is protected with email authentication and 2FA.
But, email confirmations can only secure your coins when you store them in online web wallets like blockchain.com which is actually risky itself because there is no reason to trust your coins with any website no matter how trusted they are when you can download a wallet file and keep your coins in your own control.

I usually use 2 computers one for my day to day work and the 2nd one where I have only the core wallet installed where I make all transactions and there is no risk using this method because I don't surf interest or download any files from that computer and there is no way the hacker can gain access to it unless I have the PC lost which is again impossible because it being a PC I don't carry it anywhere either Grin.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin mining a problem of wasting energy? No on: March 13, 2020, 07:32:55 AM
It is a wasting because it could be done with staking, that way the could shouldn't need miners. And i think this is why ETH is moving to PoS.

And it's a waste if the energy cost is bigger than the mined coins...
You have a valid point but I always feel that PoS makes richer people more richer and poor gets poorer. The rich can always buy more coins and stake to get more coins and it's similar to gaining interest in money in bank. While in PoW there are a lot of things involved and you can't just mine more because you are rich.

Bitcoin could be mined with a simple GPU in starting and you don't have to buy anything to grab some bitcoins while to grab PoS coins you must buy those coins first and then you can earn interest on that. Plus, PoS gives much more power to someone if they can grab a big amount of coins from the market and loosing the actually meaning of decentralization.
650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does the bitcoin price go up and down correlation to the stock market? on: March 10, 2020, 07:10:45 PM
On this weekend the crypto market goes down.  Will it predict the stock market to go down on Monday?
Stock market became as volatile as bitcoin recently, I mean it used to be such a stable thing but right now looking at it, it has a very stable long periods of time (like bitcoin) and than does something crazy as well (like bitcoin) which I can't fathom what shareholders must be thinking since they got in for a non-volatile long term thing with stock markets. Maybe bitcoin is not connected to stock markets but stock markets are connected to bitcoin? Who knows.

I personally have seen it drop like hell 10+ months ago or so and I have seen it do it again now as well and both times bitcoin went down beforehand and that was like a warning I suppose, or if you took it as a warning you would have been safer in stock market. So, I am not entirely sure if we can call them totally unrelated.
651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 10, 2020, 06:32:19 PM
I was one of the lucky ones who got into bitcoin way before 2017 and made a decent amount of profit during the 2017 peak however that doesn't mean we didn't had any losses during 2018 as well.

I have probably made more money on bitcoin than I lost so there is no way I can complain right now about getting in, however I could have made so much more money if I stayed away from bitcoin during 2018 bear run as well. Did that kept me off bitcoin? No. I bought more in 2018 and more in order to drop the averages and I managed to drop it as much as 5-6 thousand dollars when we got into 2019 and price was still around 3.5k, so I was still in a big minus after a whole year of persistent buying. What happened? Price went up a lot and I profited again. Do not give up and forget about the past.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 10, 2020, 05:34:10 PM
Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties?
Because many Bounties do not Pay rewards to Bounty Hunters. Bounty Hunters work hard but did not get any Reward. What will be the Solution of This Problem.
This did not start happening from today, it has been happening right from time and a lot of people have worked for bounties without being paid their royalties. There are lots of scammers out there and bounties that doesn’t pay their campaigners are all scam and you have to be very careful and avoid them if you don’t want to work hard for a long time without getting paid.

When I’m looking for a bounty I don’t just go straight into whatever I, and I’m not the type that can be deceived due to a bounty is offering a huge reward because I know for sure that there is something fishy about them, so I still do my research before choosing.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 10, 2020, 04:57:14 PM
You’re right everyone is being very careful right now and they don’t want to jump straight into any investment these days so they don’t lose their money. A lot of stocks and assets, and others were all affected by the current situation.

Bitcoin has managed to jump back to a higher price of $8000 and I’m looking forward to the bulls aggressively pushing the price up to another high price. Some people seem to have given up hope and I have started seeing the same thing that happened in 2017 repeating itself, a lot of people are now calling Bitcoin trash because of this drawback, and they all forgot that Bitcoin is not the only asset that decreased since this Corona outbreak. And compared to other stocks and assets, I would say it’s still a better choice.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: March 10, 2020, 04:20:33 PM
Alot of blogs and articles are referencing the facts that the present dip in prices is related to corona virus outbreak. But I do not believe so
I believe It's not just the virus, all these things were going to happen,
the virus just lit the match and acted as a catalyst
Hey, did you read what you wrote before posting it? You said Corona outbreak is not the cause of this fall and then you also said that it acted as a catalyst, lol what’s a catalyst if it’s not a cause? So, you’re still landing at the same point that everyone has been saying.

The thing is that Coronavirus outbreak is not the only thing that have caused the price of Bitcoin to fall this low, there are other factors that have also contributed to what we are facing now, but this is not going to be long and the price is already recovering quick. After it dropped it managed to get back up to $7900 yesterday and today it has moved up to the price rate of $8000. All these things are temporary, and since Bitcoin is a volatile asset there will always be times like this.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 10, 2020, 03:38:04 PM
I think it is always hard for any team to lose their superstar and suddenly keep going to win. You have to get adjusted to play without your superstar to be decent at least, no team could continue to be as good as they are without the superstar, of course they will get worse but they need a bit of time to adjust to reach that 100% potential they could be without the superstar as well. Give them 10 games without Giannis and they will reach a place where they are still worst than when they are with Giannis but they would be better than their current situation as well.

Look at raptors for example, they got enough time to be a team and right now they are still decent, surely not as good as when they had Kawhi and will probably not go to finals again this year, but they didn't suddenly start sucking and become horrible neither.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: March 10, 2020, 09:06:01 AM
You guys do realize that ethereum needs to go up 7 times higher while bitcoin staying still in order for it to go up right? The price is 204 dollars right now, which means it has to be close to 1400 dollars while bitcoin not moving a single bit. If you think that is possible and could happen I can say nothing to you and good luck with your investments.

However, if you can think with logic and come up with absolutely no reason for ethereum to go x7 higher while bitcoin not moving, you are smarter than the person who opened this topic. There is absolutely no way ethereum goes x7 while others stay still, this is not some obscure small tiny new project token we are talking about, this is ethereum and even doubling was a major deal for ethereum so there is no way it goes x7 let alone do it all by itself.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temtum to be the first crypto to be used as a national currency ! on: March 10, 2020, 08:25:45 AM
Well, it is something. I know it is just Anguilla and I know probably none of us ever heard of it and had to google it as well. But do not forget, the richest man ever to live on this earth was an African who managed to find a way to collect as much gold as he possible could instead of waging wars like crazy and spending it on military like rome did.

So, all temtum has to do is use this advantage of working with a government to spread out without really trying to achieve anything else and not get distracted, if Ripple can become the third biggest ranked coin by working with banks, I am sure temtum could get a lot bigger if they work with governments instead. I am not saying it will happen, I do not own any temtum, all I am saying is the potential is right there.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 10, 2020, 07:54:43 AM
I am so sick and tired of people who are finding some sort of connection between corona and EVERYTHING. First it was the stock markets, then it was the crypto market, now the crude oil market. Please tell me what could ever be the possibility that crude oil prices went down due to corona virus. We are talking about crude oil, which is not the thing you use for your cars, that is called gas for example (wrongfully but alright) and a virus that kills maybe %2 of all people that gets infected and already has some sort of breathing problems like old age or asthma.

So, let's find ANY connection between how two totally unrelated things could ever find any connection, could they? If anyone gives me one logical reason for them to have any sort of connection, I will wear mask until there is no more infected all around the world.

Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties?
Because many Bounties do not Pay rewards to Bounty Hunters. Bounty Hunters work hard but did not get any Reward. What will be the Solution of This Problem.
There is still some sort of charm in it all due to it being a bounty hunting program that basically requires no money for you to invest while making a profit but in reality you do not need to make that sort of commitment to it neither, it is your own decision to make that.

So as you see, you are going after a bounty and sometimes you fail or sometimes you succeed, just like the bounty hunting of real life and the history, not all the time is a great success. I personally have made some profits from some of them that turn out to be waaaaay overpaying for what I have done, but there have been plenty of times when I didn't get anything as well which was the times I have failed and that is the deal with bounty, sometimes you get money and sometimes you don't and that is charming to me honestly.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: March 09, 2020, 05:27:09 PM
We have seen a pretty decent drop today as well as you can see. Bitcoin price dropped like crazy in the last 24 hours but the altcoin prices stood still and didn't dropped down which basically caused the dominance to fall down. I don't know if this can continue when bitcoin goes up but that would make dominance go down even more if bitcoin goes back up over 8k but altcoins increase even faster.

I doubt that part will happen but the only reason why the current situation happened is that people who want to get out of altcoins are already mostly out and this happened so quickly that people didn't had time to react and change stuff up. I personally want to stay in altcoins for a little while longer as well, this causes bitcoin to weaken and alts to strengthen.
