641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis and Bitcoin Price Forecasts (bitcoinbullbear.com) on: February 26, 2012, 01:47:56 PM
Just issued a short term update to subscribers.

is it just me or is the font on these things really fucking small?

Haha, same problem here. I always copy/paste it to word, and enlarge it. And I'm 22 btw. Definitely not due to old eyes.

You guys have to remember that short-term wave counts are very rough, and are only guidelines. They can and will be off by quite a bit a lot of times. They are still very useful, though. You will know the direction where the price is headed, and how it's going to get there.

Perhaps my previous post was a little over the top, so I'll just state facts instead of my own opinions. Be your own judge.

This guy got an offer from one of the most trusted members of this community (Yankee from Bitinstant) to try out this service, so he could prove it is legit. Great way to start a business and build trust, right? Well this guy just flat out refused the offer with weird excuses. Here's the offer he got:

Next, the trusted member BurtWagner offered his escrow service, and even wanted to give 0.4 BTC for free to Dareq. Another great and safe way for him to make his first transaction and build trust. Result? He closed the topic. Here's the escrow offer:

Haha, purple is being spot on so far  Shocked
645  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting 100 BTC loan over 28 days on: February 25, 2012, 03:51:05 PM
What are you going to do if Bitcoin prices rise to ~7 dollars in the next ~30 days? You'd have to pay a lot more to pay back those 100 BTC than paying back the insane loan you have right now.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoinica Helper (userscript) on: February 25, 2012, 02:14:18 PM
It's a very nice script, thank you.

It doesn't seem to work properly when you have more than one position:

Multiple positions are possible? How? If I place any orders when I already have an open position, they get added/subtracted to the old position.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 25, 2012, 04:31:44 AM
Head and shoulders and waves are perfectly fine terms to use.. they mean nothing unless you know how to read them..

Its not some secret handshake I gave away..

Im not worried about it,  it just bugs me how quick people are to throw others under the bus...

True coloUrs shine...

True, true. But people that didn't see the pattern earlier, might now see it, because they know it's there Wink

Instead of this:

thats why Im asking.. was that the H+Shoulders target ?  gone ?

It called for it higher ..

Post something like this:

thats why Im asking.. was that the target from graph 29 ?  gone ?

It called for it higher ..

In my opinion it's up to WA to decide. Not sure what to think of it myself. It's a close one Smiley

If you were consistently able to put two pieces of lego together when you were a kid, you should have no trouble building your own rig.
651  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoinica vulnerability dicsovered. on: February 24, 2012, 06:13:25 PM
I always suspected that this was possible with them, so I hope that it wasn't exploited too badly...

Huh? Then why didn't you bring it to their attention? =/
Because I didn't feel like actually taking the time to find such a vulnerability? I just knew that the way they were handling withdrawals was significantly more likely to result in a race condition.

Ah, ok, I thought you actually suspected a way how this could be exploited, but you just suspected it was possible some way or another. Never mind then, it was a misunderstanding Smiley

653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [LIVE] Withdraw Your TradeHill Balance Instantly- BitInstant on: February 24, 2012, 02:25:26 PM
Isn't it possible to make 1 big transfer with the money of several smaller accounts to Mtgox, and then spread the money to different accounts through Mtgox codes? I know this will force people to use Mtgox for getting their money out, but at least it's better than nothing, right?
654  Economy / Speculation / Re: myself's secret rocket on: February 23, 2012, 11:49:11 PM
Bitcoinica working fine for me Smiley
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 23, 2012, 10:10:40 PM
That target is on chart 46 as well. But there's a bit of zigzagging above and below 5 before we reach that target. That's what the price is doing now.

thats what I figure too..

I made some decent money so far, cashed out and trying for another modest win Smiley

You sound like me Smiley

EDIT:  Did you get back in below $5? How much below?  Grin

No!, I got a position right at 5..  bitcoinica.. to slow to shrink spread Tongue

Trying to profit off of spikes and volatility after a big fall/rise is only possible on mtgox. Bitcoinica kills your profit with spreads, which is understandable of course, as they have to protect themselves against that volatility. I'm not going to try it, though. Too hot for me Grin

I must say, the analysis has been great so far Smiley

658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investor Cycles & Emotions on: February 23, 2012, 09:48:16 PM
Looks kind of like desperation

I thought about this. What if this is just one final rally attempt before a long crash down?

 Huh

Denial....

Denial doesn't make prices rise from a ~3.80 low to over 5. Denial is people screaming it's just a correction, and that it will go up soon, while the price plummets further and further.
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 23, 2012, 09:46:35 PM
sooo how does this huge strike down play into all this ? Cheesy

It was only ~5-6k BTC that got sold. Nothing to worry about. The increased volatility is just because of the reduced market depth close to the current price.
660  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: February 23, 2012, 09:38:13 PM
The thing is, we've been below the 30 day average for a long time. Now it spiked above that which means that this rally could be far from over.

yes; has anyone around here ever heard of waves?

What's your current prediction?
