641  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: August 18, 2021, 05:29:29 PM
The role of the state is needed to overcome poverty, the state must provide the best education and health facilities so as to make the people able to improve their standard of living, in my country poverty is a political object because it is always an issue when there is a general election.
I agree, the state has the urge to initiate reduction in poverty rate. But for individuals, if they understand their situation, they don't have to wait for the government's help.
Although the state really has an important role to improve the quality of life through those that you've mentioned. They also have to look at the business sector and as well as employment.

Reducing the level of poverty in the country is indeed the government's task, but the government's task so far is only in the form of dropping out of work because overcoming poverty, the government's version so far is to provide subsidies, even though with the existence of subsidies, poverty is maintained because it will not provide mental education for the poor to try to get out of the poverty line.  The role of the government is not enough without the will of the individual.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 04:05:47 PM
Yes, that is a human thing because we will do almost the same thing as he did. Elon will learn about not playing others with his money and will get redemption someday. Elon should realize that with his power, he should help as many people as possible and not just search for profit and popularity because when he can totally help people, he will get more profit and more popularity. People will follow him but that is if Elon can give the best for people.

If everyone realise to do what you think is better so there is no poor people anymore because when every rich people really care to help others than think about their own profit, the poverty will not be there. This is really nonsense, for modern era we didnt care each other it's common thing. When there are some rich people care with others, we will think he is a hero then become popular.Isn't that what we often find?
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google starts accepting Bitcoin ads on: August 18, 2021, 03:33:46 PM
Great news! Scams were relevant 3 years ago; phishing and scam ICO projects are often seen on search items.
They probably learned how to keep the users safety which could help increasing positive exposure to new investors.
It wasn't just great but I consider this as a helping tool to make spread the word of crypto and the new coming legit projects.
Then I hope we can see huge changes and such scam/fake sites can't be found or it appears on the search button anymore like before. I also hope that they don't just have a big concern about money going in but also the security that they can give back to their thousands of users.

I've seen there are so many sites that spread scams and take personal advantage on Google with the lure of getting multiple profits.  After Google was directed to their telegram, there was also a medium for discussion with potential victims so that with Google's focus on preventing scams, there would be positive vibes for the crypto market in the future. Moreover, things like that have begun to be found a little, although they still exist if rogue sites keep changing domains.
644  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 17, 2021, 05:12:34 PM

At the beginning the goal was like that because it was entertainment that made them happy in gambling, so getting there depends on how we control whether we become addicts or remain disciplined in gambling.
With more funds, we will be safer and not feel pressured to lose, if we only rely on bonuses from the site, it is only the beginning of the list, but after the trip, we still have to be able to manage the funds used in gambling.
Sometimes it's always here to hunt for new casinos that come here to try something new with the promo.

I interested for talking about entertainment, hobby, promo hunter, and pro player in gambling. The basic reason why we entered gambling world just because looking for a fun then become addicted. When mindset of the player change become looking for money and gain, I dont think gambling will give you a profit. I said it based on my experience, I dont look at another people on this forum who get profit from the gambling site competition. I dunno why I never get any profit from gambling maybe because Im unlucky person and I dont have any talent in gambling so dont looking for profit in gambling. Just for have fun.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor Says Bitcoin is Hope For Canada on: August 17, 2021, 03:47:43 PM
Michael Saylor is overleveraged and continuously doubles down on massive Bitcoin long positions every time it dips.

That sounds like a dangerous investing strategy to me, specifically, the "double down" part. It's understandable to inject a little more cash in long positions on each correction, but adding large amounts of BTC unnecessarily increases the risk, especially since it's company money and I don't expect BTC to make more than 66% gains at the current price, which would place it at 75K. But even any profit beyond 33% at 60K is highly unlikely. When you think about how much money that adds up to in terms of net income for Microstrategy it doesn't really make sense.

I'm not worried about Saylor's strategy because she basically believes that BTC is a valuable asset. Loss or gains, are often calculated in conditions that have not been realized, meaning that even if the value of BTC in the future drops, the BTC assets never decrease. So far, MSTR's BTC assets are still in surplus and buying when prices are low, isn't everyone doing the same thing?
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: August 17, 2021, 02:26:27 PM
Indeed. It is not a surprise if he only cares about what he wants to do because he thinks the other is unimportant. He only wants to become more popular and famous and, of course, become the richest man in the world. We do not have to listen to him as we only care about ourselves but we can use him to help us to make money Grin

Isn't that a human thing?  too naive if we think of others instead of ourselves and profit for ourselves.  I'm too tired of hearing a lot of rhetoric as if in modern times like this there are still many people who care about the losses suffered by others in the market.  An Elon Musk is supposed to care about BTC for the benefit of the people isn't this the biggest bullshit ever?
647  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat | InstantWithraw on: August 17, 2021, 01:34:03 PM
I haven't checked here for a long time, as it seems it grew a lot bigger since the last time I checked here. I keep forgetting this place after a big gambling spree, like gamble a lot for a whole week and then keep forgetting that it exists for few months and repeat this time and time after again. Mainly because I want to gamble other games and that is why I keep going to other places and only remember this place when I see it on bitcointalk. Now I am on the cycle where I am going to gamble here for a while for sure, and it is getting better each time I see here.

Not only that the website is better (looks faster, kudos on that) but also a lot more people gamble here each time I come in here. Plus I do not remember this new fun coin method, it was always there but it looks like the "method" has changed a bit, that is good as well, definitely better for newbies who want to try it out.

@dezoel were you part of their signature campaign, because if you were then yes the site has changed a lot since the campaign has ended. However what remains constant is that the admin has listened to our feedback’s, and constantly provided support to all his members hence I like this site a lot.

When I was active in gambling site for lucky purpose, Blackjack is the part of my gambling experience. I got some fortunes with free bet and I played it again in the casual table but Im not lucky enough then I pause my hobby. The last week, suddenly I tried to click the site and I found many new features which is interesting to be tried. I dont have much time to try all of the features but I still have some deposite in the site.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: August 16, 2021, 04:53:57 PM
Four American asset management companies have purchased shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC) fund:
1) Ancora Advisors announced the purchase of 13,945 shares of the Grayscale Investments bitcoin fund.  https://twitter.com/MacroScope17/status/1426288419819425792
2) Clear Perspective Advisors from Illinois owns 7,790 shares of GBTC. https://twitter.com/MacroScope17/status/1426314689856868354
3)Parkwood for the period from March 31 to June 30 increased the stake in the bitcoin fund from 93,000 to 125,000 shares. https://twitter.com/MacroScope17/status/1426207659032776709
4) Boston Private Wealth reported that it owns 103,469 shares of GBTC. https://twitter.com/MacroScope17/status/1426203621218267138

In my opinion, it is natural for these 4 institutions to glance at and buy GBTC and ETHE because the crypto market has started to recover.  Even though what they buy is not BTC or ETH directly, yes because they are an investment manager company that has considered many things in the risk they choose.  The amount they buy is not so much when compared to the assets they have but with the successful performance of the crypto market and having a positive impact on GBTC and ETHE will make crypto in the eyes of institutional investors more sexy.  We need a lot of institutional investors to raise fundamental issues in the market so that what was previously predicted can be achieved.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't care what Saylor or Musk say anymore, I'm becoming a BTC individualist! on: August 16, 2021, 03:49:36 PM
you can be a bitcoin motivator, to people who still believe in Elon and Saylor,
I personally was fed up with Elon's tweets so I stopped following him, with his tweets sometimes making me sleep uneasy, afraid that if I woke up the next day BTC had reached 25k$ again, and I believe that bitcoin will reach $ 1xxx.xxx in the future
Everyone is done with Elon's drama, he's such a drama king and it is better if he doesn't talk a lot during this rise. Because anything that he say about negative towards bitcoin, we'll see those fan of his that will plunge the market and do panic selling. But even if he and they do that, we're used to see the market recovery most of the time and it happens very quick. The thing is that, even if we're used to it, we are also getting tired with those.

I hope for next season, the investor of Crypto has a mentality like you who don't care with Whale's said. We have faced a long-run bearish market which cut 50% of the upper price. This is a recovery time that has been waited for everyone who is an enthusiast with crypto assets. The market cap of crypto has grown up since the positive vibes in the market and We know each other at this moment will be a sensitive time for Whale's issue, if Elon tweets such a shit thing, are we ready for that too?
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 16, 2021, 01:57:33 PM

Manchester City is strong enough without Kane. Don't judge them by the performance of just one match. In the Harry Kane team, they will actually be more stronger. However, Chelsea and Manchester United are the title contenders this season. Both teams seemed very stable. They do well enough. If Manchester City can't improve their performance quickly, they will gradually move away from the title.

Isn't it too early to think too negatively about Man City just because of one game ago?  Team performance goes up and down isn't it normal?  But the defeat must be a lesson for Man City to win the title again.  It's not too late to achieve it, but the stability and strategy must change a lot.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2021, 06:18:18 PM
El Salvador's main source of income is from remittances. They have done it easily, but it won't be that easy for a country with many income sources. Every country makes money when people use their bank for the transaction. So if crypto has been used everywhere then this source of income will be cut down. I do not think a developing country would do that.
surely a country that has a source of income will not really care about crypto
but for poor and developing countries that have few sources of income will try to use crypto to boost their country's economy

cryptocurrency will not be rejected.  over time when crypto adoption occurs then all countries will be crypto friendly

Because poor countries are exploring more posibilities on to make their economy boom that's why we see El Salvador is trying their luck on bitcoin acceptance. Maybe there are other small or maybe shall we say 3rd world groups will adopt bitcoin and make it as their legal tender if El Salvador will suceed and get a positive result on ita adoption.

Also yeah maybe we can see that all country will became crypto friendly in future but this one will never happen soon due to many reasons.

However, it cannot be denied that every country has its own ego, especially in terms of economic stability.  Currently, the government in almost all countries upholds a centralized economic system and considers things that cannot be fully controlled by them as wild things even though it is not necessarily what is considered wild does not provide benefits for life.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 15, 2021, 05:21:26 PM

Huh?  I wouldn’t say they are playing bad.  If you’re really watching the match, you could see it’s mostly that they are stale in front of the opponent’s goal.  They need a proper striker.

Edit:  Grealish just made an attempt.  I’d say that was the most convincing one from City for the match so far.

I thought so too, their game wasn't that bad, they just lacked people to execute passes that were aimed at the opponent's goal.  Reliable stickers are really needed by them, or the curse of champion is attached to them.  When they met Tottenham, they became very weak until the last minute. There is no goal which can they earn for 80'.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ideology of Bitcoin on: August 15, 2021, 03:26:10 PM
To me, this all sounds like the ideology of a speculator.  Not the overall ideology of Bitcoin.  When satoshi conceived this, I sincerely doubt their first thought was "how much fiat could people sell this for?"

Greed was an element within satoshi's thought process, because they recognised the incentive to secure the chain would be a vital component.  But I don't personally recognise 'gambling on the price of Bitcoin in your preferred national currency' as a crucial part of the formula.  Even if you weren't actively buying and selling for fiat profits, I'd still be able to send transactions that cannot be blocked or reversed.

Satoshi first created BTC because he wanted to get people's fiat by offering different things and being a solution to the rotten centralized economic system.  The intelligence of using blockchain is one of the advantages that until now has bothered financial authorities in every country and finally made their version of the rival, the CBDC.  Speculative ideology is one part of it because the function of currency is speculative.

654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: August 14, 2021, 06:08:12 PM

Currently Norwich is just defending and having the ball in possesion while Liverpool continues to press against their defence. Liverpool is playing really bad currently, they scored the goal by pure luck and will need to do much better. But i personally think that Norwich dosent belong in the EPL at all. But still the first half of the first round so lets see. Im predicting the end to be 1-3 for Liverpool

Norwich continued to struggle to control the ball as Liverpool continued to want to attack Norwich's goal.  Right now it's 0-3 for Liverpool, if it's said that Liverpool's game is very bad, I don't really agree, especially if it's just luck, even though they struggled to score that goal.My guess was absolutely right and Norwich at the last minute were under a lot of pressure.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: August 14, 2021, 05:06:34 PM
Watching the Liverpool vs Norwich game at the moment is quite exciting although I believe Liverpool will win and from possession of the ball Norwich is quite depressed.  Several times seen the Norwich players almost committed a violation because they were 1 goal behind Liverpool. i guess this match will end with final score 3-0 for Liverpool.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: August 14, 2021, 04:01:25 PM
Being able to monitor the market and control the emotions will make us better investors if you want to be an investor and you want to achieve regular success, it is always advisable to practice the market first. It gives you the opportunity to develop your investment strategies, practice them relentlessly and build confidence in the subject invest is also an ideal time to familiarize yourself with the trading platform and to keep everything cool and at ease.

Indeed, the mentality of investors and traders must be strong, very volatile market conditions cannot guarantee that our money will always make a profit.  As it is now, the market is starting to improve if investors are impatient, they are ready to sell their coins, but on the other hand, investors should hold on to a higher price.  The rise in prices in the market has brought investors new hopes of a bullish market back again.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin really resist inflation? on: August 14, 2021, 03:53:50 PM

Bitcoin has been the best financial asset to protect you from inflation and will continue to be so because of its intrinsic properties, especially its limited nature, as noted above.

The Bitcoin market will be the solution to a centralized economic system that creates a new problem, namely inflation.  Bitcoin which is decentralized and has high volatility will provide equal opportunities for profit or loss according to the analytical capabilities of each investor.  When you are able to read the opportunities, profits of up to hundreds of percent is a natural thing to have.  There have been many happy stories of having crypto in their portfolio.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: August 13, 2021, 05:46:06 PM

For institutional investors the "coin" functionality of Bitcoin doesn't matter much, or at all. Let's face it, for (all of) them it's just "digital gold", whether some of us like it or not. They invest to make money. Don't we do the same, whether we expect or not to spend in some years like we do with cash now? It helps the price, it helps the ecosystem with advertising and liquidity, it's a win-win situation.
I agree if it is said that institutional investors like MSTR will consider BTC as their digital gold, so buying BTC several times is like the CEO's step in saving and investing in it.  We know each other that no single asset is able to provide a gain of up to one hundred percent in just a few months due to its volatile nature.  The success of MSTR's investment in BTC shows that BTC is a newcomer with its very sexy decentralization issue in the midst of a global economy that is currently very sluggish due to many government policies dealing with this pandemic.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 04:20:00 PM
I agree with you about the money laundering risk. Bitcoin is superior to fiat because of its anonymity, decentralization. But because of that, criminals and terrorists will take advantage of the anonymity to be able to launder money and trade illegally across continents that are difficult to control by governments. Bitcoin is really dangerous when used by criminals.

When a crime uses media or tools to support its actions, is the media to blame?  The analogy is when a thief uses a crowbar to help his action, what should be destroyed is the crowbar?  The risk of money laundering or terrorists must be resolved by the government, not blaming crypto.  Before there was crypto, there were too many terrorists and corruptors.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: Philanthropy as a paradox for the uber-rich on: August 13, 2021, 03:29:04 PM
Not only for the rich, I have found philanthropic institutions several times as a place to just carry out their duties, but in which there is a practice of individual profit.  In my country, philanthropic institutions are used as a place to distribute CSR but each company creates its own philanthropic institution so that their CSR is still managed by them.  It's like a manipulation business in the name of charity work for the poor.
