The #1 thing you need to do before approaching exchanges is to get people mining (securing) this coin with some serious hash power. Right now the network hashrate is 0.12 MH/s, which is tiny. There's no point setting up an extensive network of full time nodes if the blockchain can be 51% attacked with a single small ASIC miner. Even a GPU.

Re: Exchanges to target...
Cryptopia would have been my first suggestion, so good that we're on there already. It's not a big exchange but it's credible at least.
Livecoin would be a good option to explore. Some others are YoBit, C-Cex, Bleutrade, or even EtherDelta. If/when we get on a couple of those, I think we'd need a roadmap and a bit of advertising to get the volume up before we can start thinking about getting on a bigger exchange like Bittrex or one of the newer Asian ones. Easier said than done, but awesome that people are trying.
One advantage Crypt has is that it's kind of notorious among folks who've been around for a while. That's a double-edge sword, obviously, in that it's also been called a scam, but at this point all publicity and name-recognition is helpful. It made enough of an impression during its brief rise and fall a few years back that I would think it could attract some investors on entertainment value alone. Like, own a piece of crypto history. That and there are still bagholders and people that bought when it was mooning.
Can you imagine? This thing was north of $1.20 on more than $4,000,000/day volume in 2014, when the total market cap of crypto was like 1/30 of what it is today. Wild.

Al lot needs to happen to get IFC up in price, the weird thing is. There are so many coins out there and some of them are new and even worse than IFC. IFC has always worked just fine for me, I don't see why IFC is not doing better than Doge for example Investing at current prices is an absolute bargain. Soon, China's market will recover. Hi everyone, I'm a long time visitor but this is my first time to post. I read a few of you either weren't aware that there was an InfiniteCoin mobile app or had trouble syncing it. I managed to get it running and syncing so here are my instructions. Apologies in advance for the detail as I'm making no presumptions about anyone's prior knowledge  (1) Download Aptoide onto your phone. It's not in the play store so you'll have to google it. (2) Open Aptoide, search for "InfiniteCoin" and install the Infinitecoin wallet. (3) It doesn't sync automatically so to sync, open the wallet and tap the menu button on the top right and select "Trusted Peer". (4) Enter one of the IP addresses from the post by msy2008 and hit OK e.g. 120.78.168.74 (5) To confirm it is syncing, hit the back button and tap the menu button on the top right again. This time select "Network Monitor". (6) Swipe left to display the "Blocks" tab and you should see the block details syncing here. Congratulations to every investor. BSD will be listed on other exchanges in the future. As far as I know, I haven't seen any investors from China, at least in China's investment circle, no one has ever mentioned BSD. The future of BSD is worth looking forward to!
